As a native Texan whose been to both Delucca and Serious Pizza, Delucca wins! I wish you had tried the Nutella dessert pizza because that is soooo good! And now I understand why I don’t like Serious Pizza anymore. Since the renovation, pizza doesn’t taste the same to me but I didn’t know they had changed owners!

That's called "Rodizio de Pizza" (Pizza Rotation) a really common kind of restaurant in Brazil that I miss here in US, and they range from budget-friendly places to really upscale places also you wouldn't believe the number of different combinations you can find! But the every brazilian favorite is Shred Chicken with Catupiry a traditional brazilian mild cream cheese.

There's a BBQ place up here that does it like that. Salad bar is buffet style, but all the chicken / steak / pork / pineapple / whatever grilled, is like that. Leave your thing green and it just keeps coming.
My favorite restaurant where i live does this with a fusion style AYCE same thing with the red/green coasters and they have servers just walking around with food, super good. So using that same concept with unique pizza's is genius.
I just found this channel today and it is honestly amazing. The quality put into these is extremely admirable. I rarely subscribe after watching just one video from a channel because I want to see more first, but I did here. I had to.

Why? One third of it was burnt, the middle looked under-cooked, the guy making it didn't bother wearing gloves; not to mention there isn't a sink in sight for him or the people placing the toppings on it to wash their hands. It's a gimmick. Interesting to watch, but I wouldn't want to eat it.

The U.S. is arguably the best "food tour" country so it's not surprising to me. The country's history of immigration means you can find great food there from almost any culture but also their own creations.

@@HiddenAgendas LoL have you ever had pizza from anywhere ever? Because the only thing that is usually “fresh made” is the crust and maybe sausage or brisket. Everything else is ready made/packaged, unless you go to a gourmet type pizzeria. Even when I was in Italy, the cheese and toppings were all bought from other vendors and only the crust was made in house. Which...btw, they use store bought supplies to make...they don’t mill their own flour or make their own olive oil or yeast. Lmao 😂

@@big-balls 800 dollars actually seems like a pretty good deal to serve 150 people. If an average meal is 10 dollers per person, 1500 bucks would be the low end for that many people so an 800 dollar pizza cost almost half that.

For that large pizza they should attach it to a spindle that makes it rotate as it cooks to avoid hot spots. As opposed to manually rotating it 90 degrees every so often
It’s possible to make it, but they would have to change some parts or hire someone to do it for them. Would be more efficient tbh to avoid hot spots

$800 pizza which feeds 150 people workouts out to roughly $5.34 per person. For a wedding or other catering event, I imagine that is pretty good value not to mention the fun experience.

The area of a circle rises exponentially when the diameter is larger. a 20 inch pizza has an area of 314 inches squared, but a 30 inch pizza has an area of 706.5 inches squared. Thats a bigger than 2x increase in area, but the inches have not increased 2x times, only 1.5 times. So an 8 foot pizza is exponentially higher.
