Hey pilots! Tricker here and I want to welcome you to my channel on combat aviation. I'm a real world pilot in the Airbus 319/320/321 series and I enjoy DCS World, Falcon BMS, Falcon 4.0, IL-2 Sturmovik, X-plane 11, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
If you want to fly WWII aircraft over Normandy and the English Channel, then DCS World WWII is for you and they have plenty of aircraft to choose from such as the BF-109, FW-190, Spitfire, P-47 Thunderbolt, and P-51 Mustang. If you enjoy modern aerial combat then you want to focus more on DCS World products such as the F-16, A-10C Warthog, AH-64D Apache, F-15, F-14, JF-17, SU-27, Mirage, Mig-29, F-18 Hornet, Mi-8, Mi-24 Hind, Uh-1 Huey, Ka-50, F-5, Mig-21, AV-8b Harrier, and the F-4 Phantom. Some of the mods that are out there for DCS World are the F-22 Raptor, SU-57, A-4 Skyhawk, Rafale, and Gripen.
I enjoy other games such as Total War, Battlefield, War Thunder, Escape from Tarkov, as well as Squad.

BMS has quickly been my favorite thing to fly. Run a DCS liberation group. But the campaign in BMS is wild.
Same boat for me, flew a ton of DCS and ended up forming a small group but not BMS is all I want to fly. The campaign has really stolen me from DCS, realistically don't see myself going back until they release theirs.
Can't wait for DCS dynamic campaign, will inject a lot of life into the game.

dude i was a 2R3 at the wing level at Aviano i looked over the 555th and 510th this is dope i got to work around the officer that made the sorties or planned with the squadrons and im happy to see someone using the best F16 wing 31st FW respects

I was alive in this mission on the red side and one F-16 was hit in the back right part of the plane and fire came out on it from the side and it went to Zagreb at a low altitude with 2 friends accompanied by it. ariano, because he had severe impairment 😁😁🤗
Hope the official dynamic campaign for DCS will be good like this one...we will need Vulcan as well though....question: why does the hud look different in bms compared to the DCS viper?
This is a Block 40 F-16C. BMS has several different block F-16s to choose from. All are different in some way. The DCS is a Block 50.
Your going to be waiting till the end of time to get a dynamic campaign out of DCS Bo offense.

That’s because I didn’t know that 4.36 added alignment for the HMCS and I did align it lol

What is the viper version/block in here? Is this F-16s (not F-16c)? Any details? I am comparing this viper to the one we have in DCS
That was fun to watch! Do you know why the SEAD and escorts missions showed as failures even though it said 0 aircrafts were lost?
Honestly I have no idea, maybe they didn’t destroy anything so it’s a failure,
Were you able to establish comms with the tanker, using the 'Y' menu? If so, then sometimes you need to "cycle" it by reporting that refueling is complete and then immediately requesting refueling again.
Yah we tried that and unfortunately we couldn’t get it to work. He would keep saying “Roger,” and then nothing. Will try again on the next missions
I know I'm a bit late, but I learned you have to reapproach the tanker. Separate by ~10miles, come back, try again.
IIRC it had something to do with a bug/quirk in the tanker AI.
Tricker, can you maybe create a tutorial about how to get started with BMS? It looks like so much fun but also very difficult to get into the first place...
Honestly I’m still new to it as well but when I get a little more comfortable with it I’ll be doing that for sure!

How did you get the TGP to focus on the STP while you're in CCIP?
Whatever you're TGP is looking at (SPI), It will stay locked onto it.
What are the constant ring tones in the cockpit?
Being old school BMS just a few obversation ,there was no handoff from the tower once you departed? Why the caution warning on the way to the target? No comm once mission was completed? Good mission
We departed and contacted departure; I believe in this mission we had icing so that’s what the caution was and we turned on anti ice. We had comms on the way back but I didn’t show everything on the way back to cut out some unwarranted footage

I’m flying for a 737 operator here in Australia and we are only just now returning to normal ops. We are getting the Max next year and am about to do the Max differences course. Should be a busy year.

I would have locked the target with FCR and dropped CCRP instead of CCIP. That way I could stay higher away from AAA and potential manpads.

how simulatory is this game? this is the first time seeing this sim and my only reference is DCS...is it better, worse? more realistic less realistic? fully clickable cockpits and the such?
This is a fully loaded question. I’d say a lot of things are more realistic in BMS. DCS has the graphics.

@@jamestopoleski9255 I'd say you could take off and poke holes in the sky with your BMS / DCS time but landing not so much. Employing the aircraft as a weapons system no way.

The base game is, most of the graphics have been reworked a ton, save the 2d UI
I just dropped the BMS due to the lack of VR, but it's a fantastic simulator, the best F-16 sim in my opinion.

Love BMS, always have. But I think the way forward for BMS will be to switch it to Unreal Engine 5...or 6, when it's released. As much as the current graphic engine is a huge step up, it's just not on the same level as what DCS and xplane and MSFS are running now. Going to UE will solve that problem.
We can´t compare it to DCS. It´s incredibely cheap to get this, and DCS is a ton of money. Even though i see your point.
Unreal is absolutely horrible for games of this scale. It'd be the worst thing they can possibly do; and also practically impossible. They already have a modern render engine and are working on a new terrain system, just give it time. It'll end up looking better than UE ever could at this scale.
@@jamestopoleski9255 Nobody believes that graphic quality and realism doesn't matter. In principle even the most specialized and realism focused military simulators have always focused on the highest graphics and realism quality possible without compromising the other important factors of the simulation. BMS should be no different. For BMS to remain worthy of continued improvement, it must have a large user base. If it falls too far behind its competition (primarily DCS) then it will lose users to DCS which has only been getting progressively better. Don't think that BMS can remain competitive ONLY because of the dynamic campaign, which is unequalled in all the simulation world.

After hearing about dynamic campaigns coming to dcs i decided to get this game and get the mod, which of course I have to run into problems and I can't play the fucking game because my laptop has issues with .net framework or something, I FUCKING HATE THIS FUCKING THING
