Sorry about the lateness of this vid, l had a problem with my editing software and then my phone line decided to crap itself. Ahh well :)
That looks like thick cut rubber bands LOL
I was worried, Grego. I thought something happened. I thought they finally found you. You know.... "them."
I love your channel(s) mate. But I'm not sure what kind of places you were eating at in Thailand if you weren't getting better than Noodle Box.
Nice one Greg as usual informative, interesting and made me feel hungry. No wonder these places don't last long the prices they change.
Greg's Kitchen hey can u give me a shout pls you inspired me so long ago on you pot pie on the beach Friday revew video I love you videos you make me laugh my UA-cam is brans_teen
Wow !! That was WAY overpriced !!!!!
:D
Pro Tip: you can open the sides of those boxes so they unfold flat into a plate.
I had no idea!
I'll have to try that!
Yeah, Pretty much any of those style chinese take out containers do it.
So wise
I prefer a box rather than a plate
Another great video grego ? Is Berenice your girlfriend ?
Asian flower mouth?! Bernice you better spike Greg's beers with multivitamins and omega 3 fish oil !
😂 Haha
Anyway though I love noodle and rice dishes I find that Noodle Box is overpriced for what you get. I'd rather pay the wages and bills of my favourite local Thai restaurant- same price, better taste. My local Noodle Box also prepares the dishes right behind the counter so the cooking smells & smoke are overwhelming. You leave there smelling like a vat of hot frying oil - so it's best to stand outside and wait. And the wait is usually long. Great review guys, thanks, happy eating ☺️
I just made him take some multivitamins and omega 3 fish oil today! LOL!
You did?! That's funny. 😂
such a coincidence you mentioned those hahahaha. He hates it when I make him take supplements.
Definitely too expensive!! Looked ok but shocking that they charge that! great video greg :)
"adequately seasoned" good answer :) maybe seasoned with things other than salt.
the box turns into a plate when you unfold it.!
Poodle Box
Bernice should take over lol
15 dollars for 700g of noodles? No thanks.
I love the Oriental feel to this video Greggo - takes me right back to Singapore
What a rip! Easy to make noodles at home with some Char Siu pork, fresh noodles, egg, veges and Oyster sauce. I could feed many for $15. Or get a lunch special Pad Thai at your local Thai restaurant would be cheaper AND better!
Camera girl face reveal???
ThiS slays Greg
Great review, Bernice!
yes it was ;p
Oriental food is great. I still haven't been able to figure out how to use Chopsticks.
1970chevelle396 you stick em in the food like a kebab then eat it from the stick
Thanks for the review Grego.
I'd recommend the Japanese crispy chicken with fried rice! Around 10 bucks for not a lot but taste wise it's great!
I order that regularly in my lunch break!
Geeeting from Brissie!
Lol Greggo, I work at Noodle Box and the Pad Thai is the last one i'd recommend. We portion all the meats - you're really only getting a few cubes no matter what box
you could have told me that earlier ;p
Looks pretty average. My local noodle place (UK) would charge me about £5.50 (8.97 AUD) for something similar and that is a busy city centre location. Food in Australia does look expensive.
Nope, Bernice is right - terrible meal, I’d go to Aldi / Woolies / Coles and make something myself before I’d pay $15 for that. Or just go to KFC and be done with it.👍
Noodle Box is like bad beer. First bite is excellent, then reality sets in after the second bite, very boring and bland. By fifth bite you regret paying so much money.
Street food in Asia is amazing especially pad Thai in Thailand and it's 1-10 of the price in Australia Thai food in Thailand is way better then Thai food in Australia
Welp guess who got ripped off? You! That's what happens when you go to a westernised Thai place... I can get a pad Thai from many small businesses for around 10 Aussie bucks that's larger than that
Mmm noodle. Nothing like having your mouth filled by something long and hot. And the nuts. Can't not saviour some yummy nuts in your mouth. Oh yeah, would be good to visit Thailand to enjoy Bangkok.
I've had them noodles in Nundah. Not too bad but it's Aussie blandness.
Love South East Asian foods. Thai, Malay, Indonesian. There's a restaurant out Penrith(Sydney) called Bai Bua Thai Restaurant which has the food to give Charlene a saucy delight.
If you had a chance next time you should visit some actual restaurants and try some soups. They taste way better than fried foods. ...Recommendation from Thai Boy...
You're right did not look appetising, a inner sleeve of greaseproof paper, visually would of been so much better...
Strange hearing another voice! Nice to indirectly but not technically meet you Bernice!
Shannon Goatcher hello :)
Their Pad Thai is my favourite, I order it every time I go to Noodle Box. It's the best. Definitely suggest to everyone. I give it a 9.5 out of ten.
Hi, why do you have to weigh everything? I love noodle box, but the one here doesn't have much flavour and mostly noodles abit disappointing
I LUUURRRVE YOU GREGG. Love the Lil asain music 🎶 too.
goodo sobby
is it culture appropriation to use chopsticks?
probably :)
Tell you what's cheap mate
YOU ARE
Rice is cheaper but not as cheap as you
U should try malaysian dish, which is nasi lemak, asam laksa, roti canai, chuar kuey teow, although i not sure where u can try all these dishes. Hahaha
I buy the nasi goreng (without meat)and get three meals out of it. Two if I'm really hungry. Not bad for $5 a meal.
hi greg. i did love the uned version.......lol this one to...................
I LOVE PAD THAI!! It's a noodle dish so there's not as much chicken as I'd normally like. Pork Pad Thai is the best if the pork is not dry. Here in the LA area it normally has scallions, eggs, tofu, noodles, some type of meat, bean sprouts, some type of chili, garlic, basic spices, probably a little brown sugar and peanuts. The sauce is made mostly from tamarind. The real stuff is cray good.
noodle box is cooked with too much sugar. That's why I don't eat their food any more
Knacker me sideways Grego....knacker me siiiiiidewaaaaays !!!! Bernice has her head screwed on right !! Noodle box used to be greeeaaat !!! And then there was "WOK IN A BOX" ! Just as great ! But about 7 years ago both places went down hill !! Blaaaand and boring flavours after what used to be a "kick arse" product !! I don't know where they went wrong ?? I stopped going there 5 years ago because everything went to shit there. So....Bernice knows her shit - as do I !! And all that salt would have been shit loads of MSG ! Anyway....your internet was down and this upload was late which put my fukkin' OCD all out of whack !!! My OCDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD Grego !!!! Shhhhhhhhhhhhiiiiit !!!!!! Anyway....I'm all good after fiiiinally seeing your "Fast Food Friday Food Review" on a late Satdy arvo !!! Onya Grego.......ONYA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now if you'll excuse me....I need to go and..... (never mind ) !!!!!!!!!!!
onya hoof
I never tried noodle box but it looks good 😄
Greg just uses his channel to have an excuse to eat unhealthy foods lmaoo
Its midnight. Im hungry in bed. I regret watching this now
Awesome video as always Greggo! Recently made a few of your recipes and I love em! I love watching all of your videos. Today is my 21st birthday and I would appreciate it if you responded to this! Thanks again for the great and hilarious videos, love ya mate. Cheers!
thanks mate
I had it once heaps of food that tasted like wet dog biscuits
Deep fried wontons and wonton soup.
Noodlebox,... theyre so hard up for money that they portion your serving with an ice cream scoop like my local one lol,... then stir in 1 spoonful of Maggi, Continental, KanTong or Aldi style "Asian Sauce" over food in a burnt Wok and sesame oil.. Fried rice is good but the rest is poo. You should join up to all the birthday offers in Australia Greg, save some cash for reviews :)
nice
I'll take 3 hamburgers pls...
Come on mate - Bernice knows her shit - that noodle box was definitely NOT adequately seasoned. Bloody Aussies want all high salt, high sugar, high fat, and no wonder we die at t he age of 40!!!
we do , and thanks so much for the beer money Simon, ur a champ xox
What Bernice wants, Bernice should get😘
You make my days much happier- Thank you 😀 ! You are funny, charming and very Handsome. I am an executive chef for a living and would love to cook with you. You inspire me in many ways! I love this episodes because you are using chopsticks- the only utensils I use to eat everything with. You rock and keep it coming ! Cheers Love 🤗 Lylaboo1 from Fort Collins, Colorado 🌈
wow a real chef :) cheers
Wait you are over why you UA-camr
satay combination is quite nice.....
Hello great review Greg & Bernice
Number 26 beef and black bean mate
Is there an equivalent to noodle box here in the US?
Great video Greg 😚
cheers
Horribly overpriced. Avoid.
Noodle Box is garbage clueless-Westerner style noodles. It's like when Chinese run a fish and chip shop. LOL
You should try the pho soup noodle..
GREG ITS MY BIRTHDAY CAN I GET A HAPPY BIRTHDAY 😁😁😁😁
Botch Boy Happy Birthday!!! XD
Happy birthday from Sweden!:)
Botch Boy Happy Birthday!! 🎂
Happy Birthday, Botch Boy, from Tennessee!
robert retka Hello!! 👋 Hope is all is well with you.
I can't use chop sticks
The Japanese chicken is the best
You need to get butter chicken from bombay bliss!!! theres one at Pimpama!!!
AppCheating Butter Chicken is so delicious!
TASTES LIKE HAPPY. If I'm honest Greg, I think you would have been a lot more harsh on this a few months ago. Maybe some of the stuff has just really been that bad in comparison!!
It's rice noodles lmao
Asian correspondent Bernice 😂 got the family guy reference
oh i dont even watch that haha
Here you pay 4 maybe 5 € for a noodle box that size. It's really overpriced, mate!
That's Australia for you 😅
Your videos are so funny.
I love noodle box
Phad Thai noodles are supposed to be sticking to each other.
00MrPanda00
Sticky pad thai is definitely fucked up.
whos this berneese?
I once ate from a greasy box. It tasted like fish
hilarious
I once went through a phase in life where all takeaway I bought tasted like fish. Weird hey.
havent we all
Love ya vids greg, always got that aussie grin and sense of humor! i love asian cuisine myself.
onya robbo
@@GregsKitchenbro that was some ancient Chinese
Lol u were at q store
I don't like the look of those noodles..all noodles, not much else..we have a fast food place that does Thai, Korean, Chinese, and it's great food for the price point...called Pei Wei.
Anna Payne No Wei, sounds great.
watfordman Lol..it is pretty tasty..😁
Only just saw this review Greg. Anyway, if you ever get up Browns Plains way, drop into Far East Noodles. They have been there for 15 years, and they are very authentic. Try the Hokienn Noodle Combination Thai Hot, ( seafood/beef/chicken all together with nice chunks of vegetables), it blows my mind every time I have it. I said to them I have tried Noodle Box, it just is nowhere near as good as what you cook, they said thats why we have been here 15 years. Cant argue with that :)
Good job Greg
You are so amusing -- I hope you enjoyed your meal although it sounds kind of like you maybe didn't. If you ever come to the states try Taco Bell. You can't go wrong with 6 bean burritos and fire sauce. My favorite when I've good dietwise, Don't like to look fat. You never do.
love watching your videos' Greg, very entertaining
thanks rose
My favorite is Asian BBQ Chicken. It has chicken, char siu sauce (Chinese barbecue sauce), garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, honey, red chili paste, sesame oil and have it over fried rice. pretty simple, marinate the chicken in the sauce mixture for around 15 minutes and then pan sear the chicken.
We've got a restaurant here called Wok Box. Sounds similar. It's just kind of westernized Asian food. Not good, but quick.
Not the correct excuse Greg ... you pulled the original (substandard) version off on Friday.
hey greg i want to request steamed garlic chicken wings in a mug.
first get yourself a pair of chicken wings cut up at the joints
then season with salt and pepper to your taste and a tablespoon of minced garlic
now put wings in a mug and put a tablespoon or butter on top
now microwave for 8 minutes and there you have it.
Thai street food is made for Thai tastes, and is often a bit greasy, fatty, sinewy and over spiced. Same in Vietnam and Japan; with their various, standard flavorings. It is interesting to sample when in country, and think of how you could make that dish even better for Western tastes. And, none of US Thai restaurants serve the same level of pepper routinely found in Thai recipes :)
Man like Greg.
No D.
This strikes me as being about the quality of Panda Express...which is to say...lacking. Good review!
Greg, if you're ever down in Sydney try Thai In A Box. Similar size and price but from the looks of it far more generous in their ingredients (ie there's stuff other than just the noodles). Not amazing restaurant quality but pretty good, better than most other fast food takeaway stuff at least.
#Gego'sKitchen
Wtf
bloody el greg
You should make your own version of an Asian noodle dish . Since you like spicy food you should make Spicy Beef Korean noodles or Japanese Pan noodles are very delicious. You could even make your own egg rolls from a traditional one to whatever you want to fill them with - try Santa Fe egg rolls - yum! So many food ideas I have my minds full of suggestions! You are awesome!! Love your videos- Lylaboo1
"Australian palates"... I've seen you swear by plastic cheese with ketchup and mustard.
Hey nice Greg. By the way can you do a food tutorial on tuna salad. Basic recipe. If you do I recommend putting it on toasted bread or eating it with crackers. It would be amazing if you were to do it.
There's a good hole in the wall here that does some great Katsu Chicken! We also have a place that apparently does authentic Thai food, maybe I need to give their Pad Thai a try and see what the difference is :)
That does seem pretty expensive. I can usually get a quart of lo mein from a local Chinese place for less than $10 US.
For some reason the presentation doesn’t look good as I always had the same. Can u plz tell the complete Australian address of this mall. Or at least the name of the mall and the name of the city u r eating.
Marvellous. It is what t it is. good on yah
goodooo
R u a prostuitute?
Dafuq, taste like Happy? The cat from fairy tail 😨😨😭😭😭
