I got to where I could fully repair around 6 ships with Just what I kept in inventory on myself and the ship. Excellent! Useful info for new players and all in a short video. For the high carbon world section I would recommend getting a gas extractor and finding am oxygen location. Oxygen is highly useful but it when refined with condensed carbon in a medium refiner (2 parts oxygen 1 part condensed carbon) and you will recieve 6 condenced carbon. You can get as much as you'll ever need. You can also turn it back into regular carbon in a refiner if needed for 1-2 ratio
The space beggar one is actually people using an duplication glitch that involves giving the item you want to dupe to another player then reloading to the last save point so they usually arent being nice they are just using you to exploit that glitch.
You can also do that with the Minotaur on Moons without atmosphere, find one that is covered in small rocks that have iron and use the Minotaur Cannon on them, you can fill up the Minotaurs inventory with iron really fast that way. I do that a lot when I need a new base and I want to grab 100,000+ iron really quick.
Lol the last one was a bit of a known for me. But it's funny because at that point in the game I was already building up my ionised cobalt collection to a ridiculous amount. I had somewhere close to 2 billion units just from selling and reselling all of my I.C. then one day I want to the anomaly. I was bored and for some reason just decided to sit down and watch the ships that came in. All of a sudden I see in the log that someone gave me something. So I look to see what it is and it was a material that sold for 15 mill. I was like "HA! Not really necessary anymore but appreciate the sentiment" it still makes me laugh like 4 years later😂
@@badmashbm if you can't outright buy it or buy ionized cobalt, then you mine cobalt and place it in a refiner which will turn it into ionized CO. Ionized is what you want because it'll turn a bigger profit. Collect a ton of ionized until you've got like a thousand or two of it. Again by buying regular cobalt or mining it. Once you have that, go to space stations and check the galactic trade terminal to see if it's selling the ionized. If it is, you switch to the sell page and sell all of your ionized. Then go back to the buy page and buy it back. You'll be buying everything you sold PLUS what the terminal was selling initially. And the credits you got from selling your ionized will more than cover the cost to buy it back. With that, you'll have just gained credits and like 300 ish more ionized. YOU NEVER RESELL AT THE SAME SPACE STATION! look for a new one that is, again; selling ionized. At this point you've learned all the steps needed to make good money. All this being said though, it's been literally years since I've used this method to make credits so I don't even know if it still works. So you should probably look up something to make credits before dedicating too much time into getting cobalt.
In shooters that care about authenticity to real weapons, most weapon reloads will take longer with completely empty mags because you have to take the extra step of racking a round into the empty chamber of a gun. But it's still a nice touch that NMS tries to emulate a little of that feeling with faster partial reloads.
Might teach folks how to use the catalog properly. I still see folks who can’t seem to find paradise planets. If they knew how to use the catalog, they’d know paradise planets are the only planets that create frost crystal. Clock frost crystal in the catalog and click the line to the next planet in the warp map. Surprise… a paradise planet every hop. I regularly find blue, purple, white, and green paradise planets. I stay as far away from orange and pink as possible, they’re just way too common and boring for me.
@@nolopada hmmm. For me it’s 100%. Then again I’m in eissentam currently. I prefer lush galaxies for that reason. The bare bones galaxies kinda make me sad lol.
I have 100 hours in the game and one thing i didnt know until i saw it in a video was you are supposed to remove the slime/rusted metal from broken stuff then re open it to get the actual rewards. Ive passed up so much good loot because when i found an abandon freighter or frigate i would just take the goop out of the slot and not re open it and leave thinking it only gave you this worthless stuff.
Pro tip if you collect the slime or rust and put it in a refiner you can eventually turn them into nantes although it takes a lot of it to be worth it.
@@reecehasbeardYeah this works great. Collect all that goop-stuff, stow it away for refining later in large quantities. But an even better way to get to nanites from refining, is to take Pugneum and Atlantium. Stack those two and they convert directly to nanites in a 2 component refiner.
You can have anything you want anytime you want , make a custom Match , it doesn’t effect trophies … but some Trophies you can only get if you change a save or start a save to survival mode Perma Delete but you can even cheese that in the custom settings menu … there is no penalty To changing settings except in joining or leaving survival mode …

They do but it is not guaranteed. Just go to creative do what you need to do then switch back to normal. The game allows to do that. Basically at the same time the game nerfed to oblivion the Activated indium farms so I feel justified to do that because of the time spent to do my farm.
@@jazzelvus9865 Well for me that part doesn't really matter, I got dirt rich off the cobalt method back when I played more actively and could always resume it, since it was my favourite thing to do, I'm just interested to see what people are willing to throw at others while I study or watch tv shows etc haha
It's so generous, in fact that the first time I walked through the anomaly, when I went to sell stuff, I noticed my inventory was full and full of items I'd never collected nor ever heard of and also with max stacks of exosuit, multi-tool, and starship upgrades. By the time I sold all the "junk" items, I had 199 million credits. Far more than enough to purchase a frigate and a full fleet, and buy a full arsenal of starship, AND I still had quite a big chunk left. I'm still only just down a little less than 100 million. I realized soon after that players could just g8ve anything to other players without having to interact with that player Olas far as talking and trading.

I just realized 'how is my inv full?' trying to buy something and found myself with a LOT of stuff. Generous is an understatement. Talking stacks of void eggs, those chip things worth a tun and a lot of other random stuff. Even ship parts! Def would pay it forward some time.
Great Tips! For harvesting carbon or ferrite dust on planets with a ship equipped with a Positron Ejector is the way to go! Especially with a couple upgrades.
I was genuinely afk in the nexus as I had to run an errand. Came back and had 4 billion work scraps, 10 void eggs, numerous upgrade module and shit. Was grinding my way through quicksilver for 1 void egg😅
Re: The space beggar - the first time i went into the anomaly, someone walked by and gave me 25 000 000. I thought it was a huge amount of money, until i saw how expensive item upgrades are.
I was at the anomaly, I asked if there was a teade terminal by any chance (I had like 6 hours total, 4 of which I spent mining and exploring) and this guy pulls up, says "idk" and gives me 25 ship AI for 300'000,000 total, lmao, I still have 21 of em
5. As a newby maybe the second time I was at the anomly I was gifted goods worth 500 millions by a streamer. I didn't ask for it. I didn't even know how the chat worked back then. Noticed that something was going on when a player walked past me with others jumping around him an spamming emotes. A little while later I noticed that my inventory was full. After being confused for a while, I had a look in the chat and found the matching message. The streamer was gone by then. I stashed most of it in storage as I didn't want to spoil my playing experience. Used a part of it to upgrade an exotic ship. But I think I still have some of the stuff in storage. Made a lot of millions with cobalt market crashing later with that character when this was still profitable. 😁
I didn’t even know the space beggar thing was a thing! That’s how some random things have ended up in my inventory! I was making food and sat in this group of 5 other people chillin on the anomaly 😂
My OG save is set to "free build", so resources aren't a problem for me - but I went to the anomaly recently & someone tossed me a Void Egg! 😊 I'm working now on getting my petal pup to lay eggs I can give to others at the anomaly, cause they're really freaking cute, but rare
It's not actually space begging - it's an item duplilcation trick. Others can get duplicated items and inventory, and that was achieved by giving someone an item. If you sit in an anomaly, especially near the hangar area, people who come in to dupe will use your character, the closest, to give you an an item, then reload and get duplicated items. That is the reason you sometimes get items worth millions, because that's the items people will dupe. You mentioned this is an older video - this might have been patched since.
Actually they don’t have to send the item they are duping, they just have to send anything , to make the inventory save before the manual one. I think since auto saves became a thing it’s not possible in the same way anymore. But people still gift at the anomaly! Now it’s out of the goodness of their heart instead of for duping 😈
@@nolopada Ye but if you have 100 of something the expensive item becomes just an item, I wrote that as a possible explanation why a waiting character can end up with expensive items. 😁 I don't believe in the goodness of the human heart. 😅

I also craft what I give away when it comes to things like stasis devices or fusion ignitors or similar. I've also spent hours and hours helping players. I've taken them to my bases where they could get hundreds of millions in resources and help them get items. My activated indium base is only worth around 50m now. Maybe S class multitools or even crashed ships or other items. I'm no one special. From what I've seen over the years that's more the norm in the NMS community. On the topic of the video: does anyone know if there is a way to search for plants / animals you discovered earlier? I found this weird planet with floating crater-like "plants" that had a shiny beam coming from them and some you could pick up and use as decoration but I had no place to take any with me. Since this was almost 2 weeks ago I have no idea where this planet is located - is there a way to somehow find it besides going through every entry of your discoveries log?
I know you mentioned not going through the log, The fastest way would be finding it there, then pinning the creature / plant as a wonder. Then in your wonder menu it’ll show you the glyphs!
I have an easier way. Just claim a base, name it something to remind you what's there. From then on, you can teleport back even if you didn't build a teleporter. Teleport there whenever you want, your ship will be there too. I then just usually call my freighter in if i still dont want to bother with building.
The space begger tip works probably because of people Exocraft duping. In order for the dup exploit to work, you need to update your inventory by gifting another player. It just so happens the easiest way to find another player is the Anomaly entrance.
I’ve experienced this! Usually they give you an item that everyone has tho, like carbon. And they give you like 5. This is due to a lot of people in the anomaly having no space to send new items to, but existing items in their inventory can be added to. The more generous people I’ve encountered just give a bunch of free stuff to a bunch of people and fly away , they don’t reload their save to do that dupe trick
@@nolopada Wow, I can't believe they bothered with splitting stacks since it's slower. Creative, Safe editors and mods exist, so I feel like duping is just part of creative mode. I really appreciate random space philanthropists, but I have to say, having tons of progress instantly solved by a rando on the anomaly kind of spoiled the adventuring mood for me, so I don't have other players turned on anymore. Someday I'll probably turn them back on, though, now that I've played lots of the content.
I had noticed players sitting in the anomaly and always thought it was maybe a kumbaya thing, or something that players with way more time playing the game knew, and guess it was, just not that you would receive resources, never done it.😅

Space Beggar - I am on my third full day coming from Elite, and someone in an Anomaly just gave me some rare tech scrap worth 140 Miio Units - wow -- never had this happen before.
There is an even better way of getting carbon, actually UNLIMITED carbon. You just need condensed carbon, faecium and a medium or large refiner. If you play around with it in the right proportions, each cycle will double the amount of condensed carbon you have. Also works for unlimited faecium if you change the proportions. I don't remember the recipes from memory, but if people reply to this comment I will go get it

Not really necessary anymore but appreciate the sentiment" it still makes me laugh like 4 years later😂
how do u make money with cobalt?
I found one of those high carbon worlds and all the plants were in caves, so don't give up if you don't see bushes.
Space Begging is pretty nice. I don't really like making quests for quicksilver so if you ask nicely someone eventually will give you a void egg
I often do .. I also give my frigate mission spoils to 'beggars' in the anomaly.
In shooters that care about authenticity to real weapons, most weapon reloads will take longer with completely empty mags because you have to take the extra step of racking a round into the empty chamber of a gun.
But it's still a nice touch that NMS tries to emulate a little of that feeling with faster partial reloads.
3 mins pretty early. Extra Tip how to get a lot of silicate powder fast. Go underground and use the flattening tool to mine out a lot at once.
Isn’t frost crystal only on frozen planets? I may be wrong. I thought paradise planets produced Star Bulb
@@nolopada rofl! Yes… I’m currently looking for frost crystal and got confuzzled. Yes, star bulb.
lol!! In my experience, searching for starbulb leads me always to a lush world but it is only paradise like 10% of the time
@@nolopada hmmm. For me it’s 100%. Then again I’m in eissentam currently. I prefer lush galaxies for that reason. The bare bones galaxies kinda make me sad lol.
Ayo that pet is WILD 😂
I have 100 hours in the game and one thing i didnt know until i saw it in a video was you are supposed to remove the slime/rusted metal from broken stuff then re open it to get the actual rewards. Ive passed up so much good loot because when i found an abandon freighter or frigate i would just take the goop out of the slot and not re open it and leave thinking it only gave you this worthless stuff.
I did this too. The amount of stuff left behind...
Lol I just started playing yesterday and felt dumb figuring it out today. Then I find this comment lol
@@reecehasbearddont dump runaway mould either. It refines to nanites. You can also google RAM farm coordinates
I'm gonna start filling space beggars inventories with 1 of each of the cheapest items in the game hahaha
You can have anything you want anytime you want , make a custom
Match , it doesn’t effect trophies … but some
Trophies you can only get if you change a save or start a save to survival mode
Perma
Delete but you can even cheese that in the custom settings menu … there is no penalty

I had no idea of becoming a Space Anomaly begger, when i first went to Anomaly i was very happy to meet a online player and i was jumping around, he gave me a lots of stuff and also ship designs he also went by to the cube and he was talking to a player there lol.
I have more than 2000 hours in game and didn't know many of this tips hahah
Thanks!
Thanks! Didn’t know the one with warping to a friend. And thank you for keeping it short and straight to the point. I know UA-cam doesn’t like that, bit I do ;)
Don’t no if it’s a tip but I recently found exo suit slots can be upgraded at anomaly as well as space station so every new system call in the anomaly to for another suit slot upgrade
thanks, didnt know people can just give you stuff
yee I became a space beggar And I got to into billions of units and some ship and multi tool upgrades and there is more.
It kill some of the fun but I still play it like I need to pay for it and I act like I got a huge debt to pay to other travelers in the anomaly to return the favor
im on my way to make my farm now, plants, Air, and minerals!
@@JG27Korny I have no money or resource issues personally, I just like the idea and wanna see what people may give, ill join in on it too :D
@@JG27Korny That usually kills the fun for most people.
The anomaly jump to a friend is super helpful, thank you! Sometimes I have struggled myself to find the right star system with friends
Since the 5.0 patch, this planet is not like that anymore.
I realized soon after that players could just g8ve anything to other players without having to interact with that player Olas far as talking and trading.
that's the beauty of having no micro-transactions. hello games aren't worried about players ruining the the premium currency economy.
I’m new to nms but space beggar cracks me up. I got to the Death Star and I didn’t understand how I got all this stuff. I guess I looked homeless hahahaa
I just got the game during its last sale. Have about 100 hours in it (counting afk trying to sort out what to do lol) and the first time I went to the anomaly I wasn't even afk. I just realized 'how is my inv full?' trying to buy something and found myself with a LOT of stuff. Generous is an understatement. Talking stacks of void eggs, those chip things worth a tun and a lot of other random stuff. Even ship parts! Def would pay it forward some time.
This is cool keep up the content
I'm looking forward to the "Combat/Enemies" update
Squad mates? You need friends for that.
Yo let’s go bro
I never "heard" of these tips, but have discovered them in-game. I have over 1,400 game hours invested.
I learned the generosity of NMS players when I was at the anomaly one time and some player filled my pockets with space weed.
It's actually people duplicating items😂 that's why it's usually high value items
I don't believe in the goodness of the human heart. 😅
Lol!! Well I hope maybe one day someone shows you true kindness bro 💀
@@SolearGnG According to Steam and Xbox I have over 12k hours in NMS. I've given billions away out of the kindness of my heart. I'm sure there's a lot of people that's given a lot more than I have . The only thing I've asked is for the person I helped to try to help others.
Bro I was walking around the space anomaly and all of the sudden a guy gave me some material that was worth hundreds of millions
Number5: yeah my first time entering an anomaly, someone gave a full stack of an item worth 250m. I didn’t realize it until 5 hours later.
@@nolopadaDamn, yeah that would be a way to do it, if only I would have known about the wonder feature back then >.
I did dup on my 3rd and 4th save to speed things up, since I've done the grind and finished the game before. But I'd be giving out 9999 tainted metals lol
Thanks for sharing the info! Do your part traveler!
I made 2 million units on my first trip to the station courtesy of salvageable scrap. Got a legendary item on the first try as well as high priced materials on the second and third.
I really appreciate random space philanthropists, but I have to say, having tons of progress instantly solved by a rando on the anomaly kind of spoiled the adventuring mood for me, so I don't have other players turned on anymore. Someday I'll probably turn them back on, though, now that I've played lots of the content.
I had noticed players sitting in the anomaly and always thought it was maybe a kumbaya thing, or something that players with way more time playing the game knew, and guess it was, just not that you would receive resources, never done it.😅
I was shocked when I had over 600 million worth of parts in my suit. I started doing the same thing
I found one this week, I had a broken technology on my Minotaur and accidently uninstalled it. When I installed it back it was repaired costing me nothing.
its true that no man sky players are generous, because theres not much else to do really. when you've reached the peak you just have an endless pockets of cash and random shi you dont have space for and having nothing to do except help newbies
Space Beggar's have been around forever. Anyone who ever played Star Wars Galaxies remembers this clearly.
The carbon planet... It still is there after the "Worlds, Part 1" update? Or it's now a useless toxic swamp planet like happened to three of planets were my bases were set on?
Heres a tip to avoid begging. Just play on relaxed mode and getting everything for free until you are reasonbly well set up.
I was actually on an expedition and someone came to my base and gave me tons of stuff. They had a sandworm head.
At the anomaly, i went afk and ended up getting 5 S class ship reactors.
I play NMS for the last 5-6 years and I didn't know the last tip, thanks!! Beautiful comunity
Alright, that space begger one really got to me 🤣🤣
Just got back into NMS, the first time I entered the Anomaly some kind soul gave me items that sold for one and a half Trillion!
They were probably doing a duplication glitch, the person that gave you that likely has infinite money at this point
Just discovered you and OH MY GOD WHAT A GENIUS NAME
Thanks a lot I tried it last night left the pa5 in for 4 hours came back and someone gifted me some stuff which I sold for just over 600mill thanks for the vid and thanks to the generous being.
It warps in the same system, on one side of the planet or few meters .
Im against that last tip of begging at the anomaly play the game people find out how it all works yes stuff takes time to build up especially in games like this ...
Be aware people can move you around when sitting still on the anomaly by using their personel shield .. i am one of those people
Someone gifted me a really expensive item day 3 of me playing. I upgraded my ship and just bought everything I needed to get ahead. Now I have no issues making money. Now I want to give back. So how do you gift items?
Someone gifted me millions the first time I stepped onto the Anomaly base, was able to buy A class frigate, a cool starship and a cool gun.
If you want full access to everything just go into your settings and change all your settings around and everything is free
These are all great, but I'd rather know why your jetpack animation is so cool.
im already beyond the point i need more pet slots.. so what i do is educe an egg to save it if i need or find a new creature to take with me
New player and my first time in the Anatoly some dude immediately ran up to me and filled my inventory lol dope ass community
Space Beggar - I am on my third full day coming from Elite, and someone in an Anomaly just gave me some rare tech scrap worth 140 Miio Units - wow -- never had this happen before.
Funny enough i only just discovered the anomaly friend jump yesterday lol
ty for your time and teaching. I appreciate it very much.
I don't remember the recipes from memory, but if people reply to this comment I will go get it
was afk on Anomaly, only to came back with 10000 tainted metals and 26 void eggs
Someone gave me 2 items each worth 32million units and I wasn't even begging. I'm new to the game so I stashed them away cause I want to experience the grind. Thank you though kind stranger.
Hey man, any tips for render distance? your red planet looks like it loads objects miles away, my game looks way worse on ultra
At the anomaly Someone gave me 400 ai cores that worth more then 5 billion units. I was new to the game, it was helpful.
Good tips
not a bagger but on my first time on the anomaly some dude trasfered 'statis device' to my inventory i soled it for 15 mil and it made my game experience much better. thank you random guy. 🙂
I dont understand the fourth one, sounds just like replacing the egg-layer with the new egg...? what about the new pet that you MUST have?
It’s about being able to store pets you don’t want to lose in an inventory slot, leaving you with an open pet slot for the new creature you want to keep
I wonder if this video is the reason I’ve been seeing more people just sitting in the nexus? By the way, I’m one of the people that randomly gives out really valuable shit. Thank you for spreading the word, now i don’t gotta be chasing people down
Wth, I thought people sitting at the anomaly are just chilling, never thought they are begging n shit lmfaooo 😂
You want to hunt for S rated ship or multi-tool. Nope just buy the design you want the first time you see it. Then go to creative mode, make it S rated, maximize the slots for free, buy technology for free. Then switch back to normal. The game allows to do that. Basically at the same time the game nerfed to oblivion the Activated indium farms so I feel justified to do that because of the time spent to do my farm to find S rated spot etc.
First time I found the anomaly someone dumped 200m 20k Nanite on me, since then it’s always try help anyone
I was sitting in the anomaly afk 2 days ago and a random guy guy me a full stack of starship ai valves ($600M) and 30 stacks of exosuit slots, multitool slots, freighter slots, etc.
How do another player give you stuff, do they transfer them to you?? Or do you need to interact with them?? Just womdering, cause im gona go see if someone can give me parts of the iron vulture
They just have to be nearby, they can transfer directly from their inventory. If you join our discord, I know a few people gave out some vulture parts the other day
Space begger actually makes no sense, since you can give yourself infinte money at any time and most of the stuff the people gift is from creative or modded.
I'm guilty of giving millions of units or items worth tens of thousands of nanites away to space beggars. Often I'll give 1-5 hyper rare items away, just so I can see who else knows cloning tricks.
that tip with the anomaly i fiigured out my self because i wanted to port to me friend but he wasnt in the teleporter list so i tried the anomaly trick and it worked great
Thanks for the tips! I’m new to the game and accidentally sold my atlas pass 🤦🏻♂️ What do I do? How can I get a new one?
You can make a new atlas pass with copper
@ how??
Thanks dude, Im just gettign back into the game
I liked your video because I like almost all NMS content, but these tips are OLD.
I totally knew them all.
(Full disclosure; I have over 7000 hours of playtime) 😉
This is a remaster of a video I made over a year ago🤓 and the tips were old even back then they were just not widely known by newcomers
Damn, i played this game under a month still and I though having 100million units is consider rich because when I saw NMS video they having around thatt value or below. Then I know from this video that begging is a thing and reading comments. Holy cow. I will try it.
