I haven't been commenting on these, as the art aesthetic is not to my taste, but the gameplay seems exceptional. I am enjoying the series and will continue ploughing through, as time permits.
You can catch frogs in witch's swamp with common lure

You should feed a death cake to rolands mother. Buy it from the witch....

I have only watched to this episode right now and you probably already know this but if not ….You can fast travel out of the mine.
I know, but I keep forgetting! I get a bit better in later episodes though.
Might want to check your fishing rod.
From how many shelfish your catching, I think you have a shelfish lure equipped.
If that's the case you might catch more fish if you take off the shelfish lure.
Maybe even more fish if you equipped a fish specific lure.
Financially you probably can't afford new lures so if you do have a crayfish lure of some sort equipped, removing it would likely help catch more actual fish.
I bought the game but my pc was stolen so I can't play it so I'm not 100% sure.
Most of my comments are more my thoughts than factually accurate information so I apologize if I'm wrong sometimes.
Seems like those potions sell for quite a bit.
If not to use them, perhaps they would be worth making to sell for money.
