Really enjoying your playthrough! Farm helpers will water the crops, but you need a watering can in the farm helper chest for each helper, and each watering can needs to have water in it - they don't refill them.
Before watching: Is this is episode when Shelab discovers that the carpenters sometimes sell bricks? After watching: Awww, still not discovered the more reliable source of bricks :(
@@TheMrfluffiI kind of wish the game would refer to them as "Builders" instead. Because not only are they responsible for building new structures, they also carry most of the materials needed to perform those actions. Like wood, stone, brick and glass. But I suppose this name is traditional within the genre...
@@bloodyichi even traditionally though carpenters primarily just worked with wood, does make it unlikely you would think to go to them for bricks, builders would 100% be clearer
So many quests seem to need more of a foraged item than sometimes spawns, would be awesome if allowed you to grow small amounts of additional foraged items to offset the risk luck plays with them spawning.
I'm assuming you are batch recording so don't see our messages before recording the next episode so could you please tell us if you figure out you can get bricks at the carpenters in any of the next episodes? I promise we are just as frustrated as you are! Otherwise loving this series!
They are actually a non-binary character, but I did not catch it until a bit later, the only thing that shows this is the gender symbol in the character bio.

From what I understand from the comments, the "builders" (carpenters) are more likely to sell bricks than the smiths.

The herb garden is just decorative unfortunately.

Raspberry and blackberry picking off of the canes, which grow in prickly thickets, so it be a bush like roses are.
