High Protein Breakfast Freezer Cooking for a Large Family

  • We have been doing a "Protein Experiment" at our house to see if more protein improves the moods of our teens!
    As it turns out...it does seem to help, so I prepped a bunch of high protein breakfasts to make the mornings easier.

    Here is what I learned about reheating these items:
    1. Wrapping in wax paper was not the best choice. Parchment would be better for reheating. I had to unwrap before I reheated.
    2. The best way to reheat was either to put in the fridge overnight and microwave...or to reheat on an oven sheet for about 25 minute at 350. (for the sandwiches and wraps) Reheating these 2 if they were frozen took a LONG time even in the microwave. I started to put things in the fridge overnight for much quicker warming times.
    3. We did these breakfasts reheated for individuals so we weren't trying to feed a whole crew at once.
    4. French toast was the easiest to reheat in the microwave
