Day one release: Of Life and Land

- Of life and land is fully releasing on Steam today. it's a very relaxing city builder with natural balance built into the mechanics.
You will be fending for your village, all while trying to gather resources before the wild animals eat all of them before you can build.
This game has some strategy, as well as sandbox enjoyment of being able to build however you can in the world.

I'm honestly just trying to make the first minute as attention grabbing as possible, and for some reason I wind up making a commercial. 😆.
If it gets the devs some extra attention to their game, I guess it's a good thing.

Haha yeah, the animals for sure like your fruits and vegetables from your garden :D With regular fences you can keep sheep and cows off and hire a hunter to catch the rats and hunt the rabbits. Later you can build the secured gate to keep all animals on a certain side :)
I saw that gate, but I have to get to level 3 to make it. The grass resource is by far the slowest to gather because of the animals. It's made a bottleneck of every project, and honestly, because of it, im going to struggle with winter as I had no time to gather crops. I'm halfway done with the hunter because he needs grass for a roof, and I was more worried about getting housing done for the people.
I guess I should have prioritized the hunter before finishing the houses. 😆. It's definitely been a learning experience, and it does show that a balance needs to be maintained.
It's a great game, and thank you for allowing me to be a part of its release day.
@@ChrisUnlimitedGames Yeah the first year is quite hard. But there are small things which accelerates the progress, like where you place your farms, or if you plant trees or create fields. As well how many people work in a certain location. Sometimes it is even good to not build the community centre in the first year and save the material / time to get through the first winter etc :D
