I followed your videos to cut my long hair into a bob. My husband says it's the best cut I have ever had. I am having so much fun cutting and colouring. Thank you ❤❤❤
I've been cutting my own hair for almost ten years and I've watched a million diy videos about adding layers. This is the most informative and easy to follow I have EVER seen!
I have been watching and rewatching your older haircutting videos for years and I had no idea this channel existed!!! You are the absolute best teacher especially for thin hair like I have. Thank you so much for creating these videos!!
I can't tell you how much I appreciate & love this video. I have some social anxieties, so I'm not a fan of going in salons . Your explanations & visuals make it easier to follow. You're awesome, thanks .
This is exactly what I needed! I used one of your older videos to blunt cut my hair a while ago. I've been wanting layers recently and this is perfect!
She is the best!! I agree. She is the first and best, relaly to only person to show me how to cut or trim mine at home.! She has great tutorials PERIOD!
Wanted to say thank you for sharing. This is the best DIY tutorial. I trimmed my own hair by using a trimmer instead of scissors. The outcome was outstanding.
Thank you so much for posting these videos about how to cut your hair at home. In my country, they charge a lot for haircuts. I’ve been trying to learn how to cut my hair on my own at home.
Thank you SO much for sharing your expertise! I'm a new mom and getting out of the house to get my hair cut seems daunting. I followed your instructions and LOVE how it turned out! Thank you again!! ❤
I have thin hair, and hair loss, great lessons that applies to my type of hair and style. Shorter, blended layers to help with my headaches and chronic overheating body.
I LOVE this video! Thank you so much. My hair is just like yours and this will definitely help me to trim my own. What kind of mirror do you have set up to see the back? That’s my struggle cutting my own.
I’m getting ready to try this. But literally this is the best explanation I have ever seen..also I have fine thin hair so that was also helpful the extra tips about that as well. I have severe social anxiety and I can’t stand the thought of going into a salon. It’s really hard to take are of my hair so thank you so much.
So I have curly, thick hair and really want to try this for myself to extend my style or even eliminate the need to go to the salon anymore. Can you make a video with more pointers for cutting curly hair please?
Hey, my soul sister! Excellent video, as always. I love that you add your own sound effects (just like I do in my everyday life 😂). Please keep up the amazing work, and give sweet little Henry a gentle scratch wherever he likes scritches! 🐿️
@@Moon_Dibiase Even though my hair is fine in the front, a little further behind my ears it falls flat because it is thicker there. Then it makes my whole head look flat!
I used to love your hair extensions videos, this is a good tutorial, but if you have thin hair shouldn’t you avoid removing the weight at the bottom of your hair?
I've got another one for ya. I'm hoping that you might oblige..... at some point down the road....that would be great! I have searched endlessly...for instruction.....on how to 'safely' clean my OLD...electric rollers with a velvety/foam type of wrap, covering each roller. Yes..they are old. They are my favorites. I always purchase them used....online. There is little info online, but even more importantly....info that makes me feel confident cleaning those little buggers...confident knowing....that I won't blow the house up...burn my hair off....or ruin the covering and inner metal core. Thanks for all the Excellent tutorials!! You are my fave. Oh, shoot....one more thing....I scored a pair of Mason Pearson Brushes at a local thrift store. Those brushes are not cheap....but I paid only $2.97 LOL Luck of the Irish!! HOW...do I Disinfect them Completely???!!! I hope they didn't come from a morgue....or from somebody with lice. EWWWW.
I have some, bought them years ago, this might not be thorough enough for you but I just damp micro fibre cloth the lot (outside the case, the sick up heated rods and the outside of the roller, use kitchen roll to dry the metal bit and put the rollers on a clean towel till theyre dry (overnight).. Lice wont survive the heat, dont worry!
Crack me up; “bing bing bing…eee eee eee”. 🥰 Again, super helpful as I am growing out a completely shaved head. I’d be SUPER THANKFUL if you’d consider recording some videos on how to cut short hair with the goal of growing it out to approximately your length. Knowing nothing about cutting hair, and not able to afford going to the salon as often as you need with short hair, I’ve been cutting it myself. You’d die to see how I was using the thinning shears. 😂 Thank you “video-on-how-to use-thinking shears”! I’m so brave because I always tell myself - worse case I can just shave it all off again! 😂 Anyway, thankfully it came natural to me, as I grow it out, to keep the front and top long, while continually hacking at the mullet - the part I struggle with. I want to have a more feminine look. Or is blunt in back better? And then how short? Without making it look like a man’s haircut? And the sides and where it grows down into the neck area? My husband thinks I should use the clippers for that area, but it seems a more masculine look that I’m not after. Sorry for the long “comment”, and no pressure to reply…I don’t know how you UA-camrs keep up with all of that… but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to see if maybe you’d reply. And again, would love if you’d film some “short-to-growing-out-longish” videos! I like your tutorial style. And I’m a teacher, so consider it a compliment! In the meantime, I’ll keep cutting- and wishing for the best. 😂 Thanks for reading, if you did! 😊
That’s a thing for people that have much thicker hair than you. This is confusing. ‘ cause it looks like you’re grabbing all of your hair and splitting it into 2/2 I can’t do that.
Not to mention if you have too much in a section, it will move while you’re cutting it and then be uneven. I have so much dead ends. I needed to fix it and I’ve cut my hair 1 million times but it’s been a while.
If you're a hairdresser you shouldn't be using the word "shriveled up" for the word hair bouncing back up. Hair doesn't shrivel up. Js You didn't show the end result because you know you did a lot more fixing up right?

All the best from 🇨🇦
You have given me confidence to do the cut and the color!😊
Best easy layered home cut tutorial ever!
Could you use thinning shears(scissors) to soften the ends? Instead of point cutting.
Great explanation in choice of words. Awesome
Hi Brittnee 😊! Can you show us basics for cutting men’s hair at home? Thank you 😊💖💖💖
Yes! I just discovered you have a separate one for hair!! Subbed on the spot. Thanks ☺️ I love your hair and color tutorials 💕
Can you do a video on straightening types? Hair botox? Keratin? Japanese?
Wow I’ve been thinking about cutting my hair. Good timing. Thanks
You have a brilliant way of explaining things. Thanks. ❤
Wow, professional hair cut guide ❤
Wow such a good teacher, thank you
Thank you ❤ Very helpful . Will the U parting give face framing layers for someone who has longer hair than yours please ?

Does the ponytail version you do give the same results?
Love it! Cutting the length like this tomorrow. Added the layers before.
Cut my hair as you said ...great result...very pleased thanks so much ...❤
Thanks so much for making this video. 😊
Best explanation I’ve seen on any video 🙏 ❤
Great to have a tutorial applicable for my fine hair.
WOW! TY! Going to give this a try tomorrow 😌
When you cut it in an angle, does that cause the back to be straight across? That is my goal and that is why I’m asking.
BEST haircut for fine hair! I always wondered why I still had weight at the corners…thanks for the advice 😂 PS, I always pay my tithing! 😉
I'm asking a genuine question, what does weight on the corners mean?

That's pretty much what I do. One time I did that Wolf Cut or whatever, and that seemed to work nice too.
I would’ve liked seeing more of the video. Ended too soon
Great video as usual!
Thank you Brittnee!

Makes sense. I have heavy hair with weird waves so even hairdressers can't get it right at $70 a pop.
I have been cutting my hair for the past 13 years.i will never turn back.to going to the hairdressers again.
