I've played all the train sim games.... I love them but struggled with German safety systems. At long last with the help of this very good video I now get it !!!! Thank's, it's a sub and like from me! Can't wait for TSW 4. When you part with your pennies... just remember TSW are the best Train Sim's.....
Bless you thanks 😊 yeah I'd thought II would share an easier understanding 👍 Thank you for the sub and like much appreciated 😊 Yes will be covering TSW4 at some point 👍 it is the best one and really the only one on console atm
Thanks Mate, I have been struggling with this for a long time and read most help but never been able to have a non stop ride. You video is amazing and your detailing about everything is really appreciated.
This is the best explanation and demonstration of the German safety systems I've come across so far. Thankyou. I keep getting caught out with the 1000hz magnet. Initially I think I was going past it too fast, resulting in the emergency brake application.
This was an amazing explanation and tutorial into how the German safety systems work. Was wondering if you had any other tutorials on this game as this was so useful. Thanks pal !
Awesome. So basically acknowledging the magnet on the keyboard is “page down” and SIFA “Q” I have a keyboard on my lap and the controller as well. I find that makes it easier for all the key bindings
@@Fat_Cat_Caravan amazing !!!!!! It’s almost 1 am here in Montreal Canada - finishing working and gonna play till 6am. The sacrifice of being single hehehe
Questions: 1. 12:09, why 85 and 70 2. 13:27 what happens if i do not acknowledge the magnets and what button is it on keyboard 3. 15:17 why does the blue bar to the left of the speedometer say “99” and ”100x”? 4. 15:27 why does it say “Ü” to the right of the speedometer? 5. 15:36 How did you know that it was the maximum speed of the route? 6. 17:07 how did you know that the track limit was 230 and that the train was breaking for 160 7. How do I know what safety system zone I am in? This tutorial was amazing, loved the video!
Hi, firstly thank you for you're comment 😊 Ok so... 1. So the 70-85 flashing means the train is essentially in "startup mode" now I'm not sure why this refers to 40kmh but if its not flashing then the maxiumum permited speed will be 85. The PZB range is 70, 85 with a maxium of 160kmh. After which on highspeed trains the LZB takes over to the 300+ kmh range. 2. Ok if you DO NOT acknowlege the specified magets (speed change ones) the train will come to a stop. I play on PS so not sure what it is on keyboard sorry. 3. So that blue bar is a countdown bar to the next speed change, the 99 just refers to when you come within the 9.9km then it will start counting down to give the train enough time to stop 👍 4. The "U" represents the pzb mode the train is currently in. So you get 2 modes for pzb one is pasenger and one is freight, the U represents passengee mode. 5. Ok you can tell by the speedometer you will see a little pin marking the max speed 👍
I can try to answer some of your questions: 2. You have to acknowledge it, I recommend to change PZB free to 4 and PZB acknowledge to 5. 3. Ü means Überwachung and means that you are tracked by the LZB. When driving on PZB, there should be a B. 6. LZB tells you the maximum Speed and automatically brakes you down when your target speed is lower than your current Speed, you need to use the AFB for that. 7. Ü=LZB B=PZB
@@zwergstern9830 thank you for helping me. Do you know what button on keyboard it is you press down to acknowledge the magnets and do you know if you have to acknowledge the magnets on all the german routes in TSW?
You only need to acknowledge some magnets not all. Like for example with speed limit increases don’t need to be acknowledged but decreases greater than 60km/h need to be acknowledged
Yep 👍 If you have a situation where the train stops and you can still here the alarm but cannot cancel it, then you will want to HOLD THE SQUARE BUTTON WHILE PRESSING LEFT ON THE DPAD to release PZB 👍
Little yellow signal flashing is telling you reduce speed because the next signal will most likely be a red. There should be a speed limit to, im guessing 40km/h
I believe its shift+enter and control+enter. One of them turns it on from the back panel and one acknowleges, can't remember which way round tho? Sorry

I’ve just acquired this route and looking forward to playing it especially now I’ve seen this great tutorial. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for this very detailed explanation. I now have more confidence using the safety features. Great work.

@@Fat_Cat_Caravan maybe a video covering the safety systems on the class 395 on the southeastern highspeed ?

On controller its just one button "B" or "O" (on PS) 👍
@@Fat_Cat_Caravan so I think u mentioned in the video - Xbox SIFA is « B » and pzb is « X and right D pad » ?
Right so to acknowlege sifa will be B and if you get stopped for missing a magnet you HOLD X and press right on dpad to reset PZB 👍

Sorry I can't help this time 😪
7:30 "Now we're gonna be late…"
Ah, so just another ICE experience? lol
(I've ridden the ICE 3 once and gotten 2 hours late)
Oh yeah but its fine, just a tutorial lol 👍
Thank you! This helps a lot!
No probs man 😁👍
Great tips thanks cat but i just ignore all these things and drive the train 😂
🤣 fair nuff and thats totally fine too 👍
Some people will just wanna drive and not worry bout it 👍
Interestingly pzb is also used in U.K. on the Tyne and Wear metro
Really? Ok
@@Fat_Cat_Caravan yep it’s mentioned on Wikipedia 😂
@@LadySophieofHougunManor7325 🤣
You only need to acknowledge some magnets not all. Like for example with speed limit increases don’t need to be acknowledged but decreases greater than 60km/h need to be acknowledged
And that’s only when under PZB. When under LZB control you don’t need to acknowledge any magnets
And you also need to acknowledge yellow signals when under PZB
Yeah I know 👍
I was just trying to keep this simple for people, but yes you're absolutely right 👍
Now I understand LZB, I needed help with it, but I still have a question. What do the letters mean for LZB?
Linienförmige Zugbeeinflussung
thank you, very helpful
You're welcome 😊
Really helpful!
Cool thanks 😊 👍
Thank you
Np 😊
Punktförmige Zugbeeinflussung is pzb lol😅
Punctual train conttol 👍🤣
@@Fat_Cat_Caravan yep lol surprised whole of U.K. bot using it 😂
Ok, but how do you acknowledge? All I hear is clicks, not shown. Thanks
The acknowledge is only relevant to the actual event e g. Sifa & signal changes. The button to press is circle 👍
For ps5 controls, how to acknowledge and release pzb and release sifa?
Circle button to acknowlege and if you want to release, hold square and at the same time press left or right on the dpad 👍
Hirthe Overpass
Ok.....
Whats the shortcut button for pzb release, pzb acknowledge, and sifa in ps4?
Circle button 👍

please what is the keyboard control to aknowledge the sifa ? thank you
