- “The Passage of Emptiness,” composed by Shirō Sagisu (鷺巣 詩郎). Arranged for organ and performed by Max of the Organeers.
Organ: Paul Fritts & Co. Opus 25, 2006 at St. Joseph Cathedral in Columbus, OH.
Recorded June 2023.
Documentation of our exploration of the magnificent Fritts Opus 25 organ at St. Joseph Cathedral. While the cathedral was generous enough to let us access this instrument, this does not reflect in any way their opinions of the media in which these pieces are featured. We are extremely grateful for the time we were given with the organ.
The conversion of this song to an organ works really well. Really loved this collab with Big Red. Hope to see more EVA songs in the future. Keep up the fantastic work.
amaaaazinng. there's a section in the middle of the song where there is like extra "layering" that just sends it up in to space. i wish this was even longer
Thanks so much!
Btw, do yall have plans to put these on spotify
Tentatively yes, we've been researching the process
Love this! So amazing arrangement you've done
Wow , wow , wowwwwww
Yes! my 2nd favorite EOE song! Well done. Heisoku no Kakudai is my fav all time. But not sure if that can be pulled off on an organ....
Thanks! And yes, Heisoku no Kakudai is great!
Keep up great work! ✨✌️
Oh! my
I'm glad to hear you play this song.
"Munashiki Nagare" I love this song.
Thank you so mach.
Great playing! This sounds really good on organ.
Thanks, glad you think so!
Well done!
This is so good!!! It gives me goosebumps. So few songs do that
very underrated cover. i appreciate you bro
Much appreciated. Likewise.
Impressive! Amazing!
You should do The Path and What If from Evangelion 3.0 +1.0
They have that ethereal feeling to them that would translate perfectly to a more romantic take on the pipe organ
Agreed, thanks for the suggestion. We have been meaning to get to some Rebuild tracks, so we can add those to our list of goals.
a liiiiittle bit too fast for an organ imo (2:13 becomes very confusing because of this) but awesome and well played nonetheless! this piece is my favorite from the franchise
Fantastic arrangement. Is sheet music available?
Thanks! It's hit or miss on whether we have sheet music prepared for these pieces, as many we learn by ear. However, I did happen to prepare sheet music for this one. Just needs to be refined a bit, then we can post a link in the description or something
@@theorganeers the curse of being ear learners (it’s okay me too lol, so much easier than transcribing as I go)
Very true, agreed!
Update: a pdf can be found via the link on our channel page. Apologies for the delay!
