- Forty thousand people descended on Melbourne's CBD for George Floyd who died at the hands of Police in Minnesota.
Yesterday I joined the Black Lives Matter rally in Melbourne to get some answers from protesters.
It is illegal to congregate in large crowds due to COVID-19.
I wanted to know why they were breaking the restrictions now and didn't come out when Justine Damond shot dead by another officer in Minnesota.
Unlike George Floyd, Justine Damond was an upstanding member of the community and an Australian.
After speaking with protesters in Melbourne, I realised none of them even knew her name.

When I was a adolescent I had some views that I am not to proud of now . Good update, the officer that killed Justine Damond has been sentenced to his full term in jail without any reductions at 57 months (Not long enough still IMO).
