Ok - so the video says the GTR-XU1 was powered by a 3L - 186 ci 6 cylinder, which is true in the LC GTR-XU1. However, the video clearly shows a 202 ci - 3.3L engine which came in the LJ GTR-XU1. Not watching any more.
Sorry but I stopped watching this garbage when you said a Factory Stock Torana was faster than a Bugatti Chiron . 9 second quarter Mile ? A standard A9X would be lucky to break a 15 second quarter Mile .XU1 Torana was slaughtered by FORD's GT HO at Bathurst in 1970 and 1971 . XU1 won in 1972 because it poured raining for the entire Race and the more powerful GT HO s were sliding all over the place . GT HO still came 2nd .The A9X Torana raced at Bathurst were as standard as a Formula 1 Car . The regulations were changed to allow engine and suspension modification and Huge Racing Tyres, NO Cars were Standard Production Cars , they were no compromised full on Racing Cars .The standard production Cars were bland rubbish .Like this video.
Peter Brock never had limited resources he was always sponsored by GMH not like the other drivers some had dealership sponsors and some were privateers on a tight budget .The Torana's were a good Aussie car but that was the end for GHM when the made the Opel rebadged here to a Commodore they were a heap of Sh33t the early models👍
Peter had limited resources until he was well established in the Holden Dealer Team variations after his first drives for them. He impressed Harry First with what success he had with his building and racing of his Austin A30 sports sedan powered by a 179 Holden six from a wreckers. All with limited resources.
This is created using an AI voice constantly repeating the same AI verbals over and over again and absolutely no idea of the facts!!! Leave it to Aussie's to talk about Aussie vehicles.
Which Torana victory do you think was the most iconic?

Oh get a tissue you sook! In comparison to overseas racers Brock was on limited resources. He also ran and won Bathurst as a privateer in 1975.
