- What's up Bros? We watched episode 2 of Secret Lives and this show is incredible. In this episode, we are about 6-7 months ahead from where we left off in episode 1. Taylor is pregnant and throwing a baby shower. Her and Dakota seem to be taking steps forward in there relationship via Dakota moving into her house. Despite her parents not agreeing with it. Taylor is planning a baby shower and plans to invite the entire MomTok crew. Whitney claims shes not going because her and Taylor have never been friends... Whitney also toys with the idea of a new brand deal but isnt sure if it would be morally acceptable or from a religious standpoint becuase the brand deal is with a sex toy company. Tensions escalate when Whitney doesn't show to the shower and Taylor's mom calls her out, literally, on the phone. Will MomTok survive this? All that and more!

The first episode was the pilot for the show, it was more like pitching the idea for Hulu to pick it up.
Episode 1 was filmed 11-13 months before the rest of the season as a pilot to get picked up by a network. That’s why we have the addition of more wives in episode 2. I also think they even said at the beginning that it was 11 months later after Taylor’s arrest.

I, too, am fascinated by the Mormon religion. I recommend Mormon Stories, or Cults to Consciousness as great podcasts where people share their experiences, and it is wild! I have no idea how this religion is still around with its ridiculousness.
I guess I’m confused ABOUT the confusion over the time elapse since there’s a chyron that starts out episode 2 saying “11 months after Taylor’s arrest”.
You guys went back and forth on episode 1 about it and then talked about people not sending flow charts. 😂 But the chyron does the work for you.
By the way…you guys are spectacular! 99% “Good Take!” Rating.

Hey guys: there is no swinging and the obessive talking about that and speculating on people's sexuality is off putting. Taylor has been open and honest but that doesn't mean everyone can be gross about her or other women. The show has a tremendous amount of depth actually with serious sexual themes of SA, autonomy, consent, sexual shaming, financial and emotional abuse, baby trapping, racism. It's great rollicking fun but serious. Gonna sit out the rest of your coverage because the speculation about sex acts along with consistently getting names of people wrong while you speculated was just creepy gossip
