    Eskimo also does a military/veteran discount, not a lot of people know that. I bought the 2600 last season and I loved it, gonna get either a 450 or 650 pop up for next season for overnight fishing or more people than just my girlfriend and I

    • @charleslefebvre5515
      @charleslefebvre5515 7 місяців тому

      If you and the gf are gonna do overnights together I'd go with the 650.
      If only you the 450 is perfect. I'd say you could fish 3 comfortably but could fit 4 if needed. It would be tight unless you have a pretty bare-bones setup. I don't, i bring a fair amount to be comfortable and have the things I want.

      Yeah you need to contact Eskimo and get on their pro program. But, local dealers like Scheels price match so you show them the price you’d pay to Eskimo and they might price match it but it has to be in stock from Eskimo at the time

    I was holding out for a 2600. But knew it wouldn't fit in my SUV. So I'd have to either get a hitch carrier or trailer to bring it out.
    Ended up getting a 2400 this summer for $400 off retail from a guy who bought it put it 90% together and realized it was too big/heavy for what he wanted. Not sure if I'm fully sold on flipovers yet. Also not sure if the 2400 was the right choice. I really like those seats in the 2600. I liked how they went forward and back.
    Either way they do make a nice tent. Ive owned the outbreak 850xd (too big for my needs), 450xd and now the 650 xd now. I love their hubs.
    We'll see if i end up selling the 2400 to buy a 350xd or 450xd for colo day trips instead.

    • @SgtOutdoors

      It's definitely worth the test drive. I was 100% hub guy for as long as I remember, but with the sxs to tow, this flip over is perfect! There are use cases for both, sucks the best way to find out is to run each one and decide really. Good luck out there!

      Guessing with that floor on the sled then the shack must fold up just right to still be able to put the protective cover over the shack properly? Would think the shack would sit to high.

    Great detailed video lol I have the Eskimo Sierra thermal this will be my second year with it for the full season and I love it
    No issues with the material at all the sled has held up from being dropped out of the truck to towing behind the four wheeler I have sat for hours all weekend in the seats and they are plenty comfortable
    The first thing I did to mine was buy a center console from Walmart and rivet it to the floor for cup holders and random tackle!! Great upgrade for cheap I bought the biggest wallMart had for I think $20

    Very cool! I personally think eskimo makes some of the finest ice shantys on the market. It does seem though that they are starting to thin the herd with front entry doors though. Personally, I can't stand side entry flip overs. I've owned 3, hated the setup/teardown on all of em. I've since went with the eskimo grizzly, and I'm not lookin back. GREAT PRODUCTS! AWESOME VIDEO!

    How do the side-skirts around the tub pack up for transportation? Now that you've used your 2600 for a season, have you had any issues with those skirts around the tub area or anything you'd recommend with those skirts? You did a great job with this video, I think you should set it back up and do a 1-year review on it!

    Quick question? I finally got my 2600 today & I am assembling the 4 seat brackets to the rear of the tub with the 3 mounting holes. After I inserted the 2 bolts on the lower wall of the rear tub & went to install the 3rd bolt through the top, there is about a 1/4 inch gap between the bracket & the top of the tub. Was yours the same way? There are no spacers in my package & it does not seem right as they can only go on one way. I would think that the brackets would set flush on the back of the tub.

    How did you find the flooring in colder temperatures? Was it hard to unroll?

    • @SgtOutdoors

      @@SgtOutdoors i have the same tent and I absolutely love mine. I was just curious of the flooring when it is really cold. I am in Alberta Canada so have a little concern over the temperatures.

    Was just wondering how you charge the battery? Do it have to take it out every time or do you have a easy charge solution?

      I just pop it out, its right behind the tote. But i can usually get two long trips out of it.

    Great review. I just bought mine here in 2021 and noticed an issue that may be an assembly problem on my part. Still cant figure it out. When fully retracted and folded down the middle section gusset pole sticks out past the back by about 10 inches making it extremely annoying to transport and maneuver. Not to mention, the standard cover doesnt fit it as a result. Is this how everyone else’s assembled or did I make an error?

      Mine too. I guess they could find an answer to getting the hieght and price... Glad you said the standard cover doesn't fit! I'll have to look into something.

      What I recently thought about is, If you mistook the top bar (goes from the middle of the middle bar to the front) and the back bar, then you would have a bit of an issue. the longer bar should be your back bar and the slightly shorter one should be that mid to front bar. ... I hope that makes sense. Let me know.

    Can these seats be added to a Sierra?

      I'm assuming yes, as long as the sleds are the same size I dont see why not.

    What's the difference between this model and the 2400

    • @SgtOutdoors
      @SgtOutdoors  2 роки тому +1

      Only about 4 inches. I think the 2400 is 60in and the 2600 is 64in. Not really sure what else is different to be honest. Haven't compared them.

    How it is pulling it out on the ice by hand? Too heavy?

    • @SgtOutdoors
      @SgtOutdoors  2 роки тому

      Its not too heavy if there is little snow. But if you get up over 7-8inchs I wouldn't recommend it.

      Tosse the skin over it see if it straightens things out.....or I guess I'll have to warranty it don't know why it's crooked.....do your polls look like they bend in also? I pushed the connectors in all the way when I self tapped the screws in but it looks like it's to far in

    Sgt, you are starting to look like a commercial, EVERYONE HATES COMMERCIALS, get back to your original plan on showing us your fun times, NOT COMMERCIALS, if anyone wants to see commercials, just watch TV then instead of UA-cam which has turned into nothing but a commercial constantly, enough of that bullshit. enough said, NO MORE COMMERCIALS OR UNSUBSCRIBE.

      You didn't need to click bud, this is info that was requested by a few people. I got two trips this weekend. Hopefully 2 great videos next week! But if you want to unsubscribe! There's the button! Not hurting my feelings. When I buy new products, I need to make review videos to help my subs who maybe making a decision. I also need to make "ranked videos" to stay alive as a UA-camr. (Videos that will show up for years when searched) So when you see the review videos, just don't watch. I appreciate you and know how long you have been following, but from time to time I have to do products because others ask for info. I enjoy sharing information. Happy New year! Hope to see you in the comments for the future!
