The newer wind sensor has replaceable bearing cartridge which his older model I dont believe had, that is a plus.

what is the difference between pro2 and pro2 plus?

The plus model comes with radiation and uv sensors installed. There are some other options, and possible upgrades as well. If you would like more information, here is the link for the product page on the Davis site.
