Today we are talking about how we got offered our first Quota Bag at the Hermès boutique in Hong Kong. We were offered a Kelly Exotic, and decided to bring it home. The experience was amazing, smooth ,and much easier than back home. This video was right after we got the bag, and you can see we are just so excited.

No, I did not lose a bet, but the foundation of Handbag Husband is to follow along as we learn more about the Hermès brand, develop relationships with our sales associates from one side of the globe to another, and pursue some amazing handbags. Furthermore, with genuine interest, I want to learn more about what makes Hermès such an amazing brand and be able to fully embrace and appreciate the art form.

Not to rain on your parade but I think the quota bag offer is only possible because the kelly bag was in a bigger and less popular size and its shiny croc (bearing in mind shiny croc has to be taken care of and is entirely not resistant to water), both factors contribute to a lower popularity and hence a lower resale value (which typically make it priced at a lower price point at the resale market than at the boutique). I have serious doubts whether a SA would offer walk-in customers birkin/kelly at the 25/28/30 size. But still, congratulations! its a very cute bag

I watched the whole video (after the previous one also) and waited to see the bag...but no bag! At the end of 59, you said you would release in the next video. Good info in this, but I wanted the GOODS! :D

What if they get commission on exotic bags thats why its ok to offer with no pre spend?

I don't know if you are buying bags as business, but I really don't get it. You have to think and calculate so hard to buy something with your own money? Anyway I hope you enjoyed staying in Hong Kong. Still extremely hot at the moment though. 😅
