What hotel did you stay at in Bangkok? I was offered, a HAC canvas cargo at the Hermes store in Oslo, random walk in. In Copenhagen I was offered a kelly 50 in black leather, having only bought 2 bracelets, in this store before. Yes they ain’t quota bags but still rare bags I had never seen in person before.

Hong Kong is very helpful and transparent - I was asking for Maximors in black and gold - they were very clear as to when one might come, however I was only there for a few days and it was due to arrive after my departure. Good luck! The one in Central is great and the staff is extremely friendly.

Went to Crystals (after a horrible experience at South Coast Plaza) and waa able to get my evelyne tpm in gold. I want to go back and try and get a black or picotin. Do they ever give two bags in one visit? New to Hermes and Crystals had a wonderful SA.

I have an ostrich long Kelly wallet, and unlike alligator, it doesn’t require CITES, which I like. The Kelly pocket is even better. Easy to get into and holds all the cash and cards I really need. The bride a brac is for toiletries… I have one I keep stocked for travel

Guys, This is an interesting video. Same as you, I enjoy visiting the H stores while traveling. The worst experience I have ever had was in Bangkok. I do not recollect the mall I went to, but the simple way I was (not) welcomed when I entered the store put me off and I simply left the store. I was asked what I wanted, almost as if it is not allowed to simply come in and look around. By all means, I am simply sick and tired of having to being prepared to go and check things out in a shop, esp. being a luxury one.

Funny you should mention that you saw lots of people in the mall carrying quota bags. Have you ever considered that these could be super fakes from China bought at the MBK Mall? There's a proliferation of them to be had. High quality replicas at a fraction of the price and zero attitude and no waiting.... ever. 😉

Honest Question: Why do you think there is the persistent complaint of the "luxury Girl" SA? Is it being cultivated by Hermes, or just a byproduct of the type of person that does this type of job?

A lot of fake bags people wear in Asian countries, maybe that’s why you saw them everywhere.

I believe some of the comments cause I have been a client at my local store for couple of years now and one time I entered the store saw a new face there that I haven’t seen before, asked about my SA if he’s here, she looked super annoyed and told me “go call him and ask if he’s here you probably have his number” 😂 the audacity!

I think part of the reasons box leather etc may be less popular is due to the climate also 🤔

I have the tarmac passport holder like your wife. I also use both my Calvi and Bastia with me. Last but not least, I bought the silk packing cubes and they are the real game changer for me. I plan on getting the Evelyne tray as well but waiting for the perfect color combo.

I wish I had gotten the passport cover that your wife has, much easier to slip out! I got the fancy one with the snap closure and it is a bit annoying because you basically have to take it completely out of the case every time! I saw the toiletry pouch on y’all’s prior video and think it’s super cute! I would use it as a catchall for every day items like Advil, Band-Aids, tide wipe, Chapstick, etc. that I move from bag to bag. Currently I have a mermaid sequin pouch, which I do like because it’s very flexible, but this would be so much more classy!

This is the standard Thai demeanor. Polite and soft spoken. It is how businesses are conducted in Thailand everywhere. When you raise your voice or act like you are above customers like other Hermes boutiques especially in Europe and the US, you are seen as a savage and the conversation is done at that point. I was in Paris FSH and dropped $3k for a wallet and the woman talked down on me instead of being thankful. I did not show any interests in those quota bags either.

I have watched all of this couples videos and found them very douchey. They claim to be Hermes fans but they turn their noses up to what they consider “lower” line bags and standard leathers. Just because the Garden Party isn’t to your liking they are very rude and obnoxious calling it “no party” bag. They scoffed at Epson leather when it is a very nice leather. They come across very obnoxious and arrogant when they talk about Hermes bags, SA, and items they see in the boutique. They need to be a little more humble. Some people would be grateful and happy to be offered some of the items they laugh about rejecting. The wife’s arrogant comments are terrible too. They come off as typical LA douche bags. And lastly, the Handbag Husband needs to learn the name of the foreign shopping malls and shopping districts in the country they are visiting as a sign of respect for the respective country. Do your research and be respectful.

It's so interesting seeing how each Hermes is markedly different on what they have available based on the local clientele. It makes watching your series that much more interesting, because they're all somewhat different.

I had binged watched all of your videos recently and instantly become addicted and intrigued by your content and presentation of items received. It’s such a refreshing approach to see the Hermes “journey” be so eloquently displayed as compared to these huge hauls that have become exhausting to watch.
