I have the Loewe Puzzle and Gucci Horsebit mini. Both were thought about for a long time before buying. The Puzzle is amazing, it works for everyday and travel, and I'll wear it everywhere. My Horsebit took me ages to pull the trigger as its in the monogram canvas, and I'm not a logo wearer generally, but the specific navy, beige, red colourway stuck in my head for years and when one came up preloved for half retail I went with it. Quality- wise the Loewe is better imho than the Gucci which is okay as I'll wear this sooooo much more. I wouldn't have wanted to pay the full price for the Gucci. As for my other bags, I have many from lesser known brands, APC, Marc Jacobs, Pourchet, Jerome Dreyfuss, Decadent, Mulberry, and I'd say that their quality is pretty good too.

I have two pre-loved *jklux* that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn’t touch. It’s not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.
I gave my mother a bag kislux on the festival day. She liked it very much. It is easy to carry and not easily scratched. My mother often carries it when she goes out on rainy days. But it still looks new. I will consider buying another one next time I have the chance.

Hi ! Was there a time when LV Mono Vernis Perle Read PM Monogram.does not have a date code? My aunt and I were trying to authenticate an old Vernis white bag. The bag size, the monogram design is on point. even the stitches ,the color of the thread, the color of the inner lining. the lock,the hardware,the stamp,the zipper even the LV near the handle does not overlap.The only thing we noticed is that there was no date code. Accdg to my aunt that bag was given t her by her aunt in 2009 .But that *jklux* was gifted to her aunt in 1998. There is only a slight discoloration but it looks fantastic.

(I only use it to travel) every time I'm in the airport, women stop me about that tote. Side note: Chanel uses gold plated now for the logo.
I cannot stress enough how amazing Demellier bags are. I've owned one since 2017 (Luxembourg bag) and I have worn it every day to work since then. It's best bag ever. It's spacious, holds my laptop and it's been able to withstand some serious beating. My coffee and snacks have occasionally spilled inside, it's traveled everywhere and it still looks intact! What a good and sturdy bag. Love it!

Interestingly, the stitching on the inside of the handle on the *jklux* is much more delicate than the original (the leather is not as worn) full marks for details.

I haven’t got any scratches on it after a few wears and the clasp stays closed. It seems tricky to open but it’s actually a simple push on the bottom of the clasp once you realise you don’t slide it up. I wouldn’t use it as an every day bag but if you want it for going out got dinner, etc I think you can keep it looking pristine. However I have taken it shopping. Storing properly in its dust bag with the paper that it came with inside. I’ve travelled internationally with it in my carry-on suitcase and it was fine packed that way.

To be honest. If you produce at cost and remove the logo, the luxury market really isn't that expensive. The mark is about 80% of the actual price. But the fact that you are *jklux* buying an image and showing off your taste to make them think you are richer than you are is a very good thing to do。

My Pourchet bag is the Trianon in red. Soft beautiful leather. Top stitching so cute. Love it. A bit small because I carry too much ! But I just leave some things at home! Recommend Pourchet handbags.

I think it's a bit outrageous for people to be walking around a big city with a $10,000+ designer bag on their arm, you might as well hold up a "please rob me" sign. Will these problems occur if these bags are used daily? I just purchased a metis clutch in monogrammed canvas from the Kusama collection. I love the colorful polka dots and hope they don’t melt on me, haha. But I don't think it will be in my regular rotation. I also have a NoeNoe in the DA but only use it a few times a year in the spring and summer so I don't put much wear and tear on it. I hope I don't see wear and tear for a while. The Reality: The replica market is literally just Chinese manufacturers and distributors, there's nothing sinister. Its completely similar to the way anything is manufactured and sold in China. They pay their workers wages similar to any other manufacturing position. It is ridiculous to say that we are hurting luxury brands, they have been abusing their customer base with price increases and decreasing quality standards for many years. Almost all luxury designers fall under 2 parent companies anyway at this point, so who are we hurting? I wear my replicas into all the most prestigous stores; I only receive compliments and ass kissing for a sale. I check to make sure they are indistinguishable, and no one has ever even hinted at them being fake. I'll proudly tell anyone my bag is fake, I'm not the sucker who will pay $10k for a Chanel lol. When I tell people my bags are fake, they always thinks its super cool and want to find out how to get one. *gtdupe*

Love this! Pourchet is amazing - I have the Blossom, top handle with strap detail, structured but slouchy. I'm looking at their Trianon. I haven't tried Le Tanneur or Demelier, but both are on my radar. One that should be looked at is Decadent - it's a Danish brand, well priced, and great quality (I have two), and their service is second to none!

Nothing we can do about fakes…I could care less how many people have the same bag as myself…that makes it really spoken for.. Hi Thanks for sharing. I just bought the *jklux* 2 days ago which was on my wish list for my occasion bag, is it worth buying this? The félicie pochette is really nice and classy and you can use it in 4 different ways, so the CA showed me the félicie from the drawer and I checked on it then I asked the CA if he can get another stock so I can compare the one he pulled from the drawer so he did. I noticed that the félicie from the drawer the leather was a bit shiny or glossy while the stock he got the leather was matt so I choose the shiny one that attracted me but I just wondered why they are different and you might have any idea. When I got home I just noticed that when you opened the envelop the back mid fold leather was a little loose is it normal when openning but when its closed its ok no problem (I didn’t noticed in the store and compare to the other one). Any advise will appreciate, I do always love watching your videos.

There's a psychological side to it. I can confirm the feeling just isn't the same when you're unpacking a dupe, compared to an authentic, handcrafted piece. For me, its like a journey; opening the package, then the box, taking off the paper, layer by layer, smelling the leather... Ahh, you just CAN'T beat that! But I prefer the square ones, I think mini bags are cuter and more suitable for casual styles, but small bags can also play this role, my dream Chanel bag is a small tweed bag. I own Rsvp Paris the low five bucket bag. Beracamy Paris is also an amazing affordable brand I love their different shoulder bag options ( The 7 way system Empiricism style). I've also loved the Flueron bigger Hortensia bag, it's been on my wishlist for a while.
I own 4 DeMellier bags and I absolutely love them! I have not purchased the midi New York or the standard New York but I own two New York bucket bags and I absolutely love them. Overall, they have great quality and they look very chic. I get compliments on them all the time!

Great video, Alice! I have 2 Demillier bags now and am very pleased. LeTanneur is also very nice, but the inside lining does not feel very luxurious to me, it feels a bit downscale for the price. Still going to carry the bag though!

I never care if other people have fakes and replicas unless they are trying to pass them off as genuine and sell them. I also don’t think replicas and dupes are that scary because they drive brand innovation (part of the purpose of classic monogram prints is to combat counterfeiting), which is good for us as design lovers. But some have just about enough of a design quirk to fascinate!! I very much enjoy xl slouchy soft leather bags, but I am always worried about pick pockets, so having a zipper or flap at the top is a must, unfortunately. My current dream bag is the Mulberry Bayswater Soft in Large. It has already reached the end of its collection's season, I cant find any trustworthy sales, and it has almost already sold out everywhere. I think it has enough classic elegance to stand the test of a few years, at least. But the price tag is not really as mid range, as I would like it to be at 1.900,-€ :-(

People thought it was true. When she died 4 years ago. To me, that bag is worth more than any of my bags and jewelry combined. Ignore them. this is precious to you.
I agree about not carrying backpack when i am travelling and am in crowds etc. I will use it on the plane as carry on however. My most recent trip i brought my backpack, nylon tote and Senreve Aria from *gtdupe* . Nylon tote was used during the day for sightseeing and easily fit everything i needed. Evenings or when i didn't want to lug too much I used the Aria. It can be worn as belt bag, sling or clutch. I have chain strap to swap in if i need fancy look too.

I bought a LV messenger bag (2004/2007 era) atyt: *pre *preluxz* ars ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. A store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of excellent quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I saw ZERO differences.
"I love a good *jklux* because it helps me decide if I want to buy the real thing or NOT." That part right there. That's IT. I feel like people stigmatize dupes but for me, I pause on large purchases that are trendy or when I feel the overconsumption mania setting in FOR ME. (It's something I struggle with LOL! I'm easily convinced to buy things I don't wear or use. They'll literally have the tags and I'll even forget I bought something and have 2 or 3 of them in my closet.) Love this video!

Emily bag is nice. Very popular European brands are Aspinal, Furla and of course Longchamp (those bags can take anything). Every brand is this video is good. But please stop buying fakes. A good leather bag is always in style. Make sure it is leather and treat it. Nothing worse than beat up bag.

The top stitching really makes it - darling. I have Montreal from Demellier and it's very nice; however, the tote I bought from Demellier I don't care for. The leather is stiff & plastic feeling. I have the Loewe Puzzle and Gucci Horsebit mini. Both were thought about for a long time before buying. The Puzzle is amazing, it works for everyday and travel, and I'll wear it everywhere. My Horsebit took me ages to pull the trigger as its in the monogram canvas, and I'm not a logo wearer generally, but the specific navy, beige, red colourway stuck in my head for years and when one came up preloved for half retail I went with it.
Quality- wise the Loewe is better imho than the Gucci which is okay as I'll wear this sooooo much more. I wouldn't have wanted to pay the full price for the Gucci.
As for my other bags, I have many from lesser known brands, APC, Marc Jacobs, Pourchet, Jerome Dreyfuss, Decadent, Mulberry, and I'd say that their quality is pretty good too.

That's when I really stopped caring what others think, people will always judge you based on your appearance. After this, I go for *HOTDUPS* and no one will question you if you drive a Bentley and get out of the car with a fake Hermès bag in your hand.

Hi ! Was there a time when LV Mono Vernis Perle Read PM Monogram.does not have a date code? My aunt and I were trying to authenticate an old Vernis white bag. The bag size, the monogram design is on point. even the stitches ,the color of the thread, the color of the inner lining. the lock,the hardware,the stamp,the zipper even the LV near the handle does not overlap.The only thing we noticed is that there was no date code. Accdg to my aunt that bag was given t her by her aunt in 2009 .But that *jklux* was gifted to her aunt in 1998. There is only a slight discoloration but it looks fantastic.
Sis, your just as funny on here than TikTok...lol! I purchased a *jklux* from Rainbow... and I get so many compliments on that bag and the chain is heavy. Then I came across a Chanel tote bag. (I only use it to travel) every time I'm in the airport, women stop me about that tote. Side note: Chanel uses gold plated now for the logo.
I cannot stress enough how amazing Demellier bags are. I've owned one since 2017 (Luxembourg bag) and I have worn it every day to work since then. It's best bag ever. It's spacious, holds my laptop and it's been able to withstand some serious beating. My coffee and snacks have occasionally spilled inside, it's traveled everywhere and it still looks intact! What a good and sturdy bag. Love it!
But there has been quite a few complaints about Demellier’s quality recently, maybe because the brand’s been getting a lot of attention on social media and more bags sold

Something like a step-by-step for newbies (like me) who feel out of their depth. The thing I worry about an the awkward moment when I've spent 20mins drooling over a bag just to turn and leave empty-handed. Idk what to say! Interestingly, the stitching on the inside of the handle on the *jklux* is much more delicate than the original (the leather is not as worn) full marks for details.
I have a DeMillier bag with the gold hardware on the front. The gold scratched badly within a couple of wearing and the clasp comes undone frequently.

@@JoelleFromParisI had heard this too but still decided to buy the large Vancouver after seeing it in person, in smooth taupe. I haven’t got any scratches on it after a few wears and the clasp stays closed. It seems tricky to open but it’s actually a simple push on the bottom of the clasp once you realise you don’t slide it up. I wouldn’t use it as an every day bag but if you want it for going out got dinner, etc I think you can keep it looking pristine. However I have taken it shopping. Storing properly in its dust bag with the paper that it came with inside. I’ve travelled internationally with it in my carry-on suitcase and it was fine packed that way.

I think it’s quite nonsense at some point for me to invest for the luxury bag which is super expensive and still needs special care of the bag bcuz of their overpricing make us worry too much. Thanks for another great video Alice! I have two of the Polene Numero Dix bags and I got them in New York a few years ago right before the very serious price increases for about $300 US. They’re now $580. Let’s say I $300 love them but I don’t 580 love them 😂 For the new price, quite a few of the bags you’ve shown here seem to be much better quality. When I carry a fake or knockoff bag *preluxz* , I feel proud because I know I didn't spend unnecessary money and I can dress up and proudly support my family at the same time. As for the owners of designer brands, there is no need to support them because they have everything. This is how I see it.
I have two pre-loved *jklux* that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn’t touch. It’s not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.
Will these problems occur if these bags are used daily? I just purchased a metis clutch in monogrammed canvas from the Kusama collection. I love the colorful polka dots and hope they don’t melt on me, haha. But I don't think it will be in my regular rotation. I also have a NoeNoe in the DA but only use it a few times a year in the spring and summer so I don't put much wear and tear on it. I hope I don't see wear and tear for a while. Plus, I'm saving up *jklux* . Have any of your colleagues experienced the same problem with this size? The Reality: The replica market is literally just Chinese manufacturers and distributors, there's nothing sinister. Its completely similar to the way anything is manufactured and sold in China. They pay their workers wages similar to any other manufacturing position. It is ridiculous to say that we are hurting luxury brands, they have been abusing their customer base with price increases and decreasing quality standards for many years. Almost all luxury designers fall under 2 parent companies anyway at this point, so who are we hurting? I wear my replicas into all the most prestigous stores; I only receive compliments and ass kissing for a sale. I check to make sure they are indistinguishable, and no one has ever even hinted at them being fake. I'll proudly tell anyone my bag is fake, I'm not the sucker who will pay $10k for a Chanel lol. When I tell people my bags are fake, they always thinks its super cool and want to find out how to get one. *gtdupe*

I definitely Loved the video it’s really good!!! I have to say imo, I understand why people say they wouldn’t care about people buying dupes or fakes or why should people care. BUT, It’s not that necessarily people “care” about people having fakes, it’s the fact that people that have money to buy into luxury and invest it’s for a reason. Quality, quantity, and yes buying luxury as exclusivities. Hi Thanks for sharing. I just bought the *jklux* 2 days ago which was on my wish list for my occasion bag, is it worth buying this? The félicie pochette is really nice and classy and you can use it in 4 different ways, so the CA showed me the félicie from the drawer and I checked on it then I asked the CA if he can get another stock so I can compare the one he pulled from the drawer so he did. I noticed that the félicie from the drawer the leather was a bit shiny or glossy while the stock he got the leather was matt so I choose the shiny one that attracted me but I just wondered why they are different and you might have any idea. When I got home I just noticed that when you opened the envelop the back mid fold leather was a little loose is it normal when openning but when its closed its ok no problem (I didn’t noticed in the store and compare to the other one). Any advise will appreciate, I do always love watching your videos.

There's a psychological side to it. I can confirm the feeling just isn't the same when you're unpacking a dupe, compared to an authentic, handcrafted piece. For me, its like a journey; opening the package, then the box, taking off the paper, layer by layer, smelling the leather... Ahh, you just CAN'T beat that! The only problem is your wallet is a lot thinner afterwardsEven though i've experienced both scenarios, i still end up buying a kislux .
I'm researching mini bags and am a little hesitant about whether to go with a square or rectangular mini bag. But I prefer the square ones, I think mini bags are cuter and more suitable for casual styles, but small bags can also play this role, my dream Chanel bag is a small tweed bag. While Chanel leather bags are common, tweed bags are even rarer.

I too saw all the complaints about the quality issues so I decided not to order online but to wait and purchase in store while I was in Tokyo. Spending $20,000 on a handbag is the obvious choice versus spending $200 on a *preluxz* bag and investing the remaining $19,800, since a $20,000 bag is unlikely to increase in value.
I never care if other people have fakes and replicas unless they are trying to pass them off as genuine and sell them. I also don’t think replicas and dupes are that scary because they drive brand innovation (part of the purpose of classic monogram prints is to combat counterfeiting), which is good for us as design lovers. I very much enjoy xl slouchy soft leather bags, but I am always worried about pick pockets, so having a zipper or flap at the top is a must, unfortunately. My current dream bag is the Mulberry Bayswater Soft in Large. It has already reached the end of its collection's season, I cant find any trustworthy sales, and it has almost already sold out everywhere. You know my grandmother gave me a fake *preluxz* bag because she knew I like pretty things and she thought it was pretty too. I was 22 years old at that time. I really don't care. People thought it was true. When she died 4 years ago. To me, that bag is worth more than any of my bags and jewelry combined. Ignore them. this is precious to you.
I agree about not carrying backpack when i am travelling and am in crowds etc. I will use it on the plane as carry on however. My most recent trip i brought my backpack, nylon tote and Senreve Aria from *gtdupe* . Nylon tote was used during the day for sightseeing and easily fit everything i needed. Evenings or when i didn't want to lug too much I used the Aria. It can be worn as belt bag, sling or clutch. I have chain strap to swap in if i need fancy look too.

I bought a LV messenger bag (2004/2007 era) atyt: *pre *preluxz* ars ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. A store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of excellent quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I saw ZERO differences.

I feel like people stigmatize dupes but for me, I pause on large purchases that are trendy or when I feel the overconsumption mania setting in FOR ME. (It's something I struggle with LOL! I'm easily convinced to buy things I don't wear or use. They'll literally have the tags and I'll even forget I bought something and have 2 or 3 of them in my closet.) Love this video!

yeah... Guibert is made in Spain, it even says that on their website. It's not made in France
they use French leather from French tannery ;)
I would much rather purchase these unique, beautiful bags that you won't see on every influencer. Also, I'd much prefer to support smaller, more deserving companies that truly care about quality and craftsmanship. 💜

10:23 I love this version of the Emilie. Le Tanneur is not selling it anymore, they replaced it with a double flap with triangular front (I don't like how it looks like an envelope!) I wish they would bring this single flap design back!
Emily bag is nice. Very popular European brands are Aspinal, Furla and of course Longchamp (those bags can take anything). Every brand is this video is good. But please stop buying fakes. A good leather bag is always in style. Make sure it is leather and treat it. Nothing worse than beat up bag.

canvas or leather? they have different leather the one I have and I show is taurillon which amazing quality. creamy and silky I like the touch. Bowlinh bag is probably more masculine but look very nice

Very nice video, thx so much. I have 4 Numero Un from Polene. My go-to everyday bag because so roomy. Top quality and beautiful design. I have a Pourchet bag, can't remember name, but love it. The top stitching really makes it - darling. I have Montreal from Demellier and it's very nice; however, the tote I bought from Demellier I don't care for. The leather is stiff & plastic feeling. I'll be checking out the brands you recommend in my next trip to Paris. Best wishes.

I have two pre-loved *jklux* that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn’t touch. It’s not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.
