I think that you should keep your gold jewelries. Just mix and match with some rose gold and you will get a nice transition. Regarding the bags, I think you should get rid of the Celine and Chanel bags and the white Bolide bag. You have other bags that replace them and if it doesn’t fit your lifestyle now, it probably won’t in the future either. Anyway, love your coco crush rings, you should stack them with your white gold rings.😍💛✨
That’s very true! Thanks for the suggestions 😂🤍 For sure the Chanel bag I’m in the process of letting it go along with the Celine raffia bag, so sad because I just bought it! Hopefully I’ll come back around to love my gold jewelries in the future!
I suggest you take your jewelries you’re unhappy with to a goldsmith and get it rhodium plated/white gold encased. That way you can wear them again, and the process isn’t difficult for a professional jeweller.
I see what you mean: the silver/ palladium colour seems to look fresher on your skin than the gold colour. I wonder if it’s for everything (which it should be: if cold colours would suit you better too than warm colours in your wardrobe). It might worth trying a colour testing. From my personal experience, I can wear both cold and warm colours (got colour-tested: warm in summer when tanned, and cold during winter), so it was really a question of age and style. In my 20s, I preferred silver/rose gold colour as it looked younger or less eye-catching. And now in my 40s, I prefer yellow gold as it’s more eye-catching (makes a bigger contrast with my skin) and look less “silver/cheap”. Just to say, that things change as we age and it’s hard to predict how things will evolve.
Right? 😂 it’s so tricky. I need to do a colour analysis when I visit Korea next time. My skin toned changed the past few years, so yellow gold just doesn’t suit me as well anymore, but that can change as I age 🤔
Your skin tone will suit rose gold, pale yellow gold or white gold. I think that panthere watch is a gift and the style looks good on you so you should keep it to pass down ❤
You must be very cool toned, I agree the gold looks a bit severe. All of your items have retained or gone up in value so you should definitely sell and replace with white gold.
The Ferragamo sneakers are quite comfortable. But thanks for your comments on the Adidas Samba, will definitely try them. I used to like cool color jewelries, but now except my Tiffany diamond ring and wedding ring in platinum, I'm starting to prefer my rose/yellow gold pieces more than my platinum and white gold pieces. Age may change our perspectives on these sorts of things, so you may want to keep your warm color pieces in case you will like them again in the future.
I definitely think silver goes beautifully with your skin tone. That being said I’d be curious to see what you look like wearing a red lipstick with your gold jewellery… that might make the gold work better on you? That being said, if you’re not someone who gravitates towards a red lip all that often it makes sense why you’re more keen on silver.
You are cool toned so it clashes with warm yellow toned gold jewelry. You could mix your metals (which is really popular now) and thereby get some use out of the very special gold jewelry that you don't want to part with. I realized this, too, and no longer use most of my yellow gold pieces. It is a shame but how smart you realized now at a young age.😊
In America it is only $60-100 to get anything you have plated in a different color of gold. You may also come back around to yellow gold because I was on a white gold kick then two years later I went back to wearing some yellow gold pieces
Lol I'm going through the same thing! I bought everything in yellow gold and a couple years later I seem to have change skin color and white gold suits me better now 😅 I also have the Coco Crush ring and agree that it traps water inside. I always have to take it off after washing hands and to dry my finger. I saw a comment here to rhodium plate the YG jewellery. That's an interesting idea. I never thought of that. So maybe that's something to look into because luxury spending has gone down and I wouldn't want to lose money when I sell them
I know right? I wish someone told me about the coco crush ring before I got them 😂 Not sure how I feel about rhodium plating my jewelries, might just lock them away in the safe for now. Out of sight out of mind 😬✌️
Oh, interesting how when you held up the gold jewelry against your skin, I was like, oh... it's tooooo yellow and garish. I personally also prefer white gold and kinda don't really wear my yellow gold stuff anymore, but I won't ever part with my yellow gold panthere watch, for example, because objectively I still think it looks more "expensive" in yellow gold, haha. I mean, ppl change, our tastes change. Maybe one day we won't mind that the yellow gold looks harsher on our skintones and just do a mixed metals kinda look!! Coz that's a vibe, too, I feel like. :D
I actually think so too! Yellow gold seems to match the panthere watch style 🤍 gonna put her in a safety box like my mom suggested and maybe one day I’ll come to like yellow gold again 😂
I have sold all my designer trainers except for my Jimmy Choo pearl ones, because I wear those A LOT. But like you, I tend to go for the same style and then its pointless, then if I go different style - I never wear it lol. Always try in person if you can and video yourself wearing them in the shop, go home - try to match it to outfits and think (maybe if I did this, I wouldn't sell a lot lol). As for your jewels, keep some yellow gold...I am into white and platinum too (it makes my brown skin sparkle) but I keep some gold and mix/match otherwise it gets boring (esp since Italian culture - my husbands Italian, you wear white gold/plat engagement ring with yellow gold wedding band).
The watch looks very yellow on your skin tone but also when you are just holding it up. I wonder if it oxidized and if you take it to Cartier for cleaning so that they remove the tarnish if the colour will look less yellow. My Cartier YG looks so much better after I use the tarnish removing cloth on it. the colour changes and looks much prettier
Oh I never thought about that! Great insight! I should visit Cartier to see if mine is oxidized. It would be lovely if it can be less yellow (hence more wearable for me) 😂
@@ziyistylebook I am curious if they can get it too look less yellow and more pretty. If you don’t mind pls keep me posted. I am very curious as when I use the tarnish cloth all this grey / blk is left on the cloth and the gold looks so shiny and beautiful. You should even compare your older watch to a brand new one in the store before you get them to clean yours to see the colour difference. You could make a vlog out of it :) I really hope you will love it again
Perhaps when you received something so meaningful as an engagement ring that is in a white metal, you now want to only match that piece of jewelry that has such significance to you. You actually look great in all the gold tone metals. Consider mixing metals in the future.
the small love and juc are my dream in YG! I think your skin is pale cool tone so I do think the YG is a bit much for your skin - when you showed the watch on your wrist, I could see why you wouldn't like it. I think a rose gold would be softer on you and ofc the WG.
Even though I’m a gold jewelry lover and all my jewelry, except for my wedding and engagement band which are platinum, my Cartier Panthere small watch is the silver stainless steel one. I find that watch in yellow gold is too yellow and it looks too mature in yellow gold. The same watch in stainless steel looks so much more classic and modern at the same time. I like my YG JUC and Love bracelet but did not like the watch in gold. So yeah, it does look very gold against your light skin complexion. Rose gold or silver would look much better on you. I’d say, sell the watch now because it’s so popular right now, 😉
Aww thanks for your insights! Guess it’s really just a personal thing 😂 the panthere watch is truly so popular right now! I got mine maybe 6 years ago when it still wasn’t very trendy so the price has definitely gone up!
I feel the same way about yellow gold. I'm very pale and my skin has a rose undertone, so rose gold looks better on me. I have only one yellow gold bracelet, it's the VCA 5 motifs in mother of pearl and it only existed in yellow gold, so... I still love it though.
That makes a lot of sense! I feel like I have more of a pink undertone to my skin now, so maybe that’s why I don’t like how yellow gold looks on me 😂 Thanks for sharing 🤍
It's not you, the yellow gold doesn't suit your skin tone at all! I've sadly come to this realization for myself as well and rose gold actually suits me best even though it's never been on my radar. I think sometimes we get caught up in what's popular or trending etc. We've also have always been told that yellow gold is the most "classic" but at the end of the day it's about what suits us best! Good call on keeping the k28, it's not my favorite size either but you could definitely "grow into it" as you say. Thanks for sharing!
@@ziyistylebook well u are a lovely skin tone and silver, lighter jewellery definitely looks better on u. I love gold myself. I have chinese skin tone but gold suits me more.
I think yellow gold only suits darker and warmer skin toned people and people who wear those colours. You seem the opposite so I don’t think you are delusional.

Good ideal! But since most of the pieces are from Cartier feel wrong doing it 😂 I’ll speak with my local jeweller!

Hahaha ‘severe’ is a good way to put it, yellow gold does look quite harsh against my skin tone 😂 didn’t realize I was cool toned until now!

you look great in both white gold and yellow gold fine jewelry. don't be too quick to sell anything as you may change your mind later
Aww thank you! Yes, I’ll hold onto them for now 😂 maybe I’ll come back around in a few more years 🤍
Celine has similar sneakers to this Dior you have, and they are my fav shoes ever!
Which Celine sneaker model do you like? 🤍
Where are you going sell the green 2.55 chanel purse? Im very interest.
Still undecided but will post updates on IG! 🤍
people with darker skin tone would rock those yellow gold and rose gold jewelries
The gold jewelry looks very shiny next to your skin. I think it looks nice on you
Thank you!!
28 is the best size for Hermes girls 😊maybe you are to petite small for the Hermes -for me it is perfect 👍

Hello! Can I please buy the Kelly 28? Let me know. KR- Walter
Not planning to let it go for now! 🤍
I think rose gold or white gold would look better on your skin. I kinda get what you mean, it gives old man vibes
‘Old man vibes’ 😂😂😂

dont sell the yellow gold. You WILL want yellow gold again. Trust me.
Hahahaha ok! 🤍
Sell the cartier watch, give the money back to your mum, ask her to get you the steel with diamonds version 😅
Hahahaha omg my gosh 😂 never thought of it that way before!
They have white gold with diamond version as well!
I don’t like yellow gold either
you def have cool undertone skin
Definitely whie gold suits you more, and it could be that you are quite pale skinned. Have you always been this skin tone.😊
Not really 😂 feel like my skin tone changed when I moved to Europe!
