I just want to say thank you for all of the thoughts and prayers, my operation was successful and I am back home, though in a lot of pain. Watching this has been fun and it took my mind off of the recovery for a minute and I cannot thank you guys enough for that.

I have a TLR-7 on my pistols because it only uses 1 battery, just like the 300 series Scout lights on my carbines. It also fits everything from my M&P9 to my M&P22 Compact where as an X300 wound be massive on that M&P22. I like only needing a single battery to have a functional light, maybe it's paranoia but I certainly don't fault anyone for 2x battery lights. They have greater output/greater runtime, I just have different priorities. Personal preference and all that.
I have both a TLR-7A and a TLR-1 HL and I prefer the TLR-7A for the reasons you mentioned. Makes the holster slimmer too.

The Ruger sr-556 is a dependable accurate strong platform.I have a first generation 2009 vintage Sr-556 and would not trade it for any other ar. Great choice sir.

I messed with meshtastic a while ago and the problem is that in the US we are so limited on range it is basically useless. .5watt on 900mhz is basically line of sight. Everyone should have a ($20) cheap Bao for level 1 coms, Then maybe encrypted ($200ish) with a real radio plan for a group is level 2. And Level 3 would be team awareness network and pooled money for infrastructure ($2000-all the moneys) for professionals.

I like the FCD Xeno muzzle devices and their reinforced buffer retainer, but a dust cover is just a dust cover. Most expensive cover I have is a Magpul one mostly just cause I wanted it.
I use some of their muzzle devices as well.
