oh my fuckin' God man misfit love is so good here.
Hahahahaha is incredible
Era Vulgaris is the reason I put a tambourine on my kit. I never knew how hard rock they could be. Era, Humbug, and Mini Mansions
That performance of Misfit Love is even better than the studio version. Simply amazing.
right on, but behold that messy mix of Troy's guitar :( !
All of the Vulgaris songs sound better here than on Vulgaris. Part of it is Troy's guitar is mixed in better. Messy? Not hearing messy, Luc ky
😊and the @@Mertztillithurts eeè😂
Honestly, I hated Misfit Love until I heard them play it live and did a complete 180°. Fucking love this whole set list.
Goddamn 2007-2008 was such a lit era for Queens (and for music in general), brings me back to being a kid going to those shows. I miss life back then 😂
Era vulgaris my favorite album for sure
L'Quik Suárez thier best for sure
Songs for the Deaf is their best. You can't even hear them.
This is as point on as Joey has ever been. He's true to the tempo here, which is something he's always been prone to rush.
Joey doesn't play too fast. Y'all listen too slow. ; )
BTW, this is one of my favorite performances on YT. I like the intimateness of the venue. Slight issues with the mix in a few spots but mostly spot-on. That first request is a face slapper. If I'd a' been there they woulda played Better Living...
Songs for the dead was definitely up tempo haha
It's because he's wearing a shirt.
He gets too hot in it if he plays fast. ;)
Best damn live version of Misfit Love I've ever heard from them.
hell yeah it is
Hove 2007 is good too
Take a look Gonzo's or Henry Rollins ...
I like the mix on this whole thing !
The lap steel in my face, the drums in my face, ALL of it! In my face!
To all my lovers, misfit love
Damn hell yesss
Troy's playing prevents tattoos on Josh's ribs.
That and Hutch figured out how to turn off Spiders and Vinegaroons
the Spiders and Vinegaroons comment made me spit out my proverbial drink
I guess not many people will get this reference. You have to be really..... Brave. Yes brave...let's put it this way.
Could someone explain hahah
@@rafaghertman1934 there is an old queens show (rock am ring 2001), that was so bad that all band members at the time got the date tattooed on them. Its a hard listen for the most part, and made me relise just how much of and upgrade troy was to the band from that point onwards. I recommend listening to I think I lost my headache from it. Its cooked
Misfit Love just sounds so fuckin good!!!!!
45:18 taking requests from the fans in a live show : thats bold.
QOTSA my favoit band since i was 18
Well what’s funny here is that even though he (or they, that is) are taking ‘live requests’, Homme amusingly damn well already knows what he’s going to play the moment he hears sum1 go to yell it. I mean, not that it’s some big secretive thing that he goes to do at times like this, he still did sort of I guess ‘reveal’ this during a couple of different interviews thruout the yrs that he’ll pull that lil number with the audience at times as do a lot of groups. Mainly to see if sum1 might actually throw something out from left field that might be interesting to play.
I loved em since I was 15-16 and didn’t even know it 🤟🏽😭
Michael Shuman was like 21 when he started playing in the band.
Thats a good job for a 21 years old guy. Better than working at McDonalds for sure.
Because it’s one or the other LOL
And he got to fuck Lily James. So basically winning at life.
Baby Mikey Shoes, gotta be awesome to join a band like fuckin QOTSA when you’re 21. 16yrs lager and he’s still in the band crushing it, fantastic addition by Josh, same with dean who joined at the same time. This lineup and now with Jon on drums the last decade is so tight live, unquestionably one of the best live bands on the planet.
I am confused why people gave this a thumbs down.
This version of I think I Lost My Headache is amazing. Truly one of the best live bands I’ve ever heard
Try the version they played "From the basement" and you will not regret
One of their best songs of all time all the time
A bit to high tempo though
battery acid sounds great here. one of my faves, but it seems hard to digest for some people.
Digesting Battery Acid is when all the damage occurs
Joey looks like SandMan from spiderman
I'm Designer...very nicely done!
Misfit Love - Josh's feet didn't fail him then. Always dancing to this tune while playing
♥♥♥♥♥ SO IN LOVE WITH THIS PERFORMANCE!!!
this chanel is a blessing
This video made me appreciate "Turnin' On the Screw" a lot more. The album version doesn't do it justice (and Troy's part seems to get lost while here it's in yo' face!).
Quite possibly the best gig on here..... still deciding.....
Michael Shuman looking like a wooly mammoth.
I was wondering if that was him, is it? Or are u joking. Cuz I seriously cannot tell
Michael Shuman PLAYING like a wooly mammoth.
I think I lost my headache is one of their best, just fucking goes hard, pause!
what a set list, they played all my favourites from era vulgaris and headache :D
this whole show is amaaazing, such a raw energy!
they made me go with the flow
Beat version of GO With The Flow ever!! Talk about great musicians sitting in the pocket.. Huge fan xoxo
Long live QOTSA!
Damn QOTSA came out swinging for this performance. Absolutely love this Band. Went to Rochester NY 14’ and got that night’s artwork. Missed them the next time they played Rochester and Buffalo:( Those shows sold out fast . I would 💯 buy live shows and couch tour like Phish if possible/available. Be nice if you could print the artwork from that night show at home. It wouldn’t be same as beautiful limited signed art print, but still nice touch for rabid fans like myself.
Hey! Its another Qotsa Phan.
That's so cool they're taking requests
Funny how it ends up being two of their most played songs tho lol
New fan, so "catching up". Thus is the first good concert I have seen of some of the older stuff, which I have not seen or heard yet, thanks!!
Consider this, they sound THIS good with 2007-ish audio tech. Dave Grohl is so right. Best live band hands down. Friggin shaped my life!
So glad to see some love for Era Vulgaris in this comment section, it’s also my fav QOTSA album, love this set!
Fucking Mexicola!!🤘....this lineup was a force of nature with Joey pounding them skins like a fucking wild man...love this !! ❤️
Joey COME BACK PLEAS!
Great performance!!
Era Vulgaris best qotsa era for sure, so creative and different for them but still so catchy
Joey Castillo was the perfect drummer for this band.
Super concert ! Merci
Magnifique!
AMOOOOO A ESTA BANDA! , ANSIOSA ESPERANDO SU GIRA SUDAMERICA!!
This is really well shot, man. Kudos to the ones involved
Brilliant.
Thank you QotsaArchive, we love your work.
Battery Acid!!! Ahhh!!!!
I love this channell already
Misfit Love 🔥
Very good sound quality
This is it.
There is some MEAN guitar work on Misfit Love :D
This is one of my favorite performances by QOTSA. The instruments are all in your face and it was mixed well imo.
Who else keeps getting the urge to grab that red thing out of Josh's back pocket?
OK, apparently I'm the only handkerchief klepto around.
Era Vulgaris has to be their best album.
universally regarded as the worst album
Completely agree
With op
Cory Suma My favorite album is lullabies to paralyze. I've never quite got into Turning Up the Screw, I'm a Designer and Battery Acid. No matter how many times i've heard them. But they are good songs, but not the best from qotsa imo. Rest from the Era Vulgaris is great. :)
Roope Tiihonen The first two songs you mentioned are my favorites from Era, it's all a matter of opinion.
This performance of Misfit Love is the best. You can line up to fight me, or join me on this Hilll boys and girls!
I dont know which álbum is the «best»... only I know is: I LOVE Era vulgaris, and Like clockwork, and I love a lot of songs from Rated R and all that old stuff!! Just enjoying people!! 😎
Que listita papu
Increible Misfit love
Es un temazo increíble. Pero esta versión es una puta pieza perfecta!! Las capas de sonido es terrible. Un caos sonoro pero tan bien orquestado!! Y esa transición final uffff sublime!!
Era vulgaris is thier best album, hands down
pryt86 THANK YOU!!! idk why the hell so many QOTSA fans have such a major problem with this album?! It’s actually my favorite album of theirs coming from a person that thought that Rated R was the very best thing his ears had ever heard!
@@DT24K It's definitely the most unique. For me it's the second best, behind Like clockwork
Such a same people hate it. All the songs are so fun
@@malcolmforsythe4329 same, except era, songs for the deaf and lullubies are all a tie for second for me lol, but like clock work is 100% my favorite
Salut, yes it's a very cool album. You're right everybody many fans don't like "Era Vulgaris"...for me is a really good album.
best drummer they ever had
Why?
+Aleksanderh In my opinion Dave Grohl was their best drummer, but Joey is a great second best. The power, ideas, and energy they brought with them were amazing. Others before these two were more desert rock, and John is a little too progressive, 'filly' as opposed to holding a beat for longer between fills, and not as much power or energy. But I like John a lot, all his projects are great.
+Aleksanderh Soryy wrong person, hahah.
Joey had this dark, heavy, robotic, element to his playing that couldn't be more suitable for robot rock. Plus he brought this incredible energy and excitement to live performances. For what Queens is I'd rather have a drummer like Joey that could come up with clever subtractive rhythms than a guy that can to tons of paradiddle variations and plays so busily. There's a ton of other reasons as well I think Joey is the quintessential QOTSA drummer that I can go into if you wish.
+Carlo Von Sexron I always catch you on QOTSA videos sharing great opinions. Joey indeed was the best. Grohl's a legend, but Joey's the best QOTSA drummer.
51:56
Why am I too excited about the fact that he did the unison bend 3 times. Twice more than the record version, once more than the round a few seconds before it.
How can be that good Misfit Love ? Myfkngod
Show muito da hora 🤘👍🍺🇧🇷🇧🇷
I’m back for some misfit love!
I think I think I lost my headache might be their best song of all time. At least top five
For any gearheads curious: the last guitar he uses is a Maton custom BB1200JH (Josh Homme’s signature guitar. For whatever reason, less than 800 were made, and people pay ridiculous prices for them now).
I’m just here to brag… because I own one by pure luck (and a dash of talent).
They are the most versatile guitar I’ve ever owned, and it’s the most attractive too. If I get time to mess around in the studio, this is my weapon of choice.
okay im jealous
Wow really glad they changed the tone they use on the synth for sick, sick, sick. Seems way too thin and high-pitched in this performance
I love jon theore and grew up listening to a lot of mars volta but joey was and is an iconic member of this band
Why isn't everybody talking about the perfomance of Lost Art? It's killer.
💕
Goood!
Great lost art'
best album and the best lineup
Mikey is one the best modern bassists
In the song around 25:56 you can hear Dean Fertita (or however else it's spelled) playing the same tone and sound of synthesizer keyboard style from The Dead Weather
Come to the door.i will . take it all away for you.love love love love.you.
I think Troy is a little bit loud in Misfits Love ,but even so is one of the best i've ever seen .
I think anonymity is a beautiful thing.
I never said anything.
dommage l'eclairage . mais un groupe GENIAL !!!!!!!!!
In designer is cool af.
i just realizaed sick sick sick is 666
Quand canal ressemblait encore un peu à quelque chose... QOTSA assure grave !
They're switching camera's too fast in this video, which kinda fucks it up.
Grande Sokol
Josh is so wholesome... 45:41
Your ear canal just got cavities. Hear that tarter. Grim and Gross, while Graphically Grateful upon the Queens and Gods.
a performance without No One Knows is rare
but a show without Song For The Dead is impossible
Wdym? It has songs for the dead
@@Clownwhokillsyea its impossible
@@FattyLumpOfPoo ooohhhhhh alr
Wow. This is the first taped show with Michael Shuman on bass (that I've found). Am I wrong?
Rosmarella There was another TV show in UK taped some days before, look for “queens of the stone age live transmission 2007”, it was broadcast at May 11th though.
QOTSAarchiveFULL All I found in the UK is the one at Gonzo's birthday, but that's from June 2007... :s
Rosmarella See if it works: ua-cam.com/video/_JJque6V7kU/v-deo.html
QOTSAarchiveFULL Yes! Thank you!
long hair mike shuuuu
Ciao! Sai da chi è gestito il QOTSAarchive ?
Sleepwalk tease at 38:09?
How or when did Josh switch the guitar right before lost art of keeping a secret??
keep on pressing 45:48 every 3 seconds... can't stop
:)
"okay we're gonna take requests now" - "GO WI'DA FLOOOW"
*facepalm*
Feel Good Hit, I Never Came, Medication, God is in the Radio, In the Fade, Regular John, Give the Mule what he Wants .. come on, you could have it so much better :0
So what, go with the flow is great. Great versions on "Demos for the deaf" too.
battery acid
Luc ky they should have played my god is the sun 😮😮❤❤ my fav song
You do realise this concert was in 2007, and Like Clockwork came out in 2013?
Harry Francis I know I know I'm just sarcastic asf
why was joey tapping around on the drums playing beats :(
14:59 when Josh Homme forgets that the crowd cheers after a performance
Lights get me tired
I think the closest genre I can think of for QOTSA is space rock.
These aren't easy to play and are pretty windy. They ripped them a new axs
Lyrics?
