I'd just like to say you're such an amazing creator! I found your channel recently when trying to find out how to paint my Flesh Eater Courts. Even though I won't be painting all of the armies, I still watch all of your videos, because they are so interesting. I especially love the nurgle paint jobs. You have such amazing talent, so keep up the great work!
Amazing tutorial. Going to start a Gloom Spite Gitz Army soon and want a Cave Scheme with Mushrooms. I can do everything you showed with a Brush, but I will be stopping at the OSL. That looks very scary to do to a model you have put alot of time into. Did you water down the snake bite leather? Mine is usually alot browner, yours had a more yellow hue.
Yes everything can also be done by brush. It just takes a bit longer. If I were you I would just take one tiny squig and maybe practise a bit of OSL. You might find it easier than you think but I totally get it's daunting to basically ruin a paintjob. I don't think I watered down the contrast paint but did you shake the pot properly? I also try to have as little paint as possible on the brush. Maybe stretching out the pigments will give it a more yellow hue? I'm not sure
I like how you used Dorn Yellow to lighten your highlights on the red. Adding white would make the highlights pink, which wouldn't be bad per se but since you have a bunch of pink squigs I think going with orange works better.
Cheers! I also think the orange/yellow highlight work better with the bright OSL I'm doing at the end. Makes the highlights stand out a little bit more
Hey bud great work as always! Noticed a bit of spiderwebbing when you did some of the airbrushing. I'd recommend lowering your air pressure a fair bit (maybe 20psi or even a bit lower) this should fix the spider webbing. Inks and contrast paints you can get away with lower pressures cause they're so thin. Hope that helps! Love the longer video and great lighting effects!
Yes ! I was looking at a paint scheme for my Gobos and this has me sold ! Thank you very much for your time and effort into this video ❤
Glad I could help! Enjoy the weirdness of the Gobbo's!

Amazing paint scheme !!!
Thank you!
It’s as if the gobbos went and celebrated Holi the Festival of Colours - I never would have considered it, but it works so well!
Oh yeah I would see Gobbos doing that :) The concept for this army was them running in one of their many caves being illuminated by the shrooms
Super cool!!!
Thank you!
