Beautiful work, goblins and squigs are such fun to paint! The character of the sculpts plus the bright vivid colours is such a special place, and also is very iconic Warhammer imo! 😁
Got to admit the little men of WarHammer are something different to paint though it has been a while. I have a Goblin I spent 4 hours on and came stone motherless last in a competition with. But I like the result. I have a White Dwarf mini, the one with the helmet full of foaming beer and for the life of me I have never been able to get that foam looking so effervescent on any other model. One of my crowning glories is the Tee Pee from one of the sets in which I painted from dark to light and still love the results. But as I say it has been a while. Sometimes the best thing about videos like yours is it reminds me to go back and look at my own jobs. More power to you
I think the tee pee is the one from the Skull Pass set, WHFB 7th ed, right? Lots of the little buggers in there. And the White Dwarf mini you talk about, another classic! Goblins are awesome fun. Glad you have enjoyed painting one or two yourself. Give another one a try, they are worth a little love!
Amazing job and super inspiring solutions! Two quick questions: have you ever tried Vallejo’s Orc’s Skin contrast? I’m currently using that + biel-tan green for shades, but I’m not convinced. The one you used for base-coating seems way more vivid. Also: where is that squig with the mohawk hair coming from?? I absolutely love it 😍
Those Vallejo paints are in my to-buy list as soon as I have time to get back into painting. The Squig is from someone I saw on IG who sculpted them: www.cgtrader.com/designers/jota-valverde
@@rushthewash It looks great, I've been playing around with substitutes for ages. Your white highlight and glaze scheme, really cleans up the contrast paint. I like the idea of diluting contrast paints. Squigs came out excellent too, have to grab some of that fluorescent red.
@ATOMTAYLOR Contrast paints are weird in the sense that some need dilution to work, and some need several coats to feel them do any particular changes. For example, briarqueen blue needs lots of coats unless you want a very subtle glaze, whereas leviadon blue is overwhelmingly saturated, so it can be used as a sustitute for a basecoat paint.
Nice vid Miguel, don't have any goblins but I see plenty of tips I can apply to my other minis 👍 Also, I keep seeing that copy of BattleMasters in the background and wondering...have you painted your set? Looking for inspiration to paint mine 😁
Love the colors! The newer plastic models are fitting right in with your legendary classics, great collection 🙂
Thanks a lot! Some new minis are fantastic, and as a fellow Goblin connoisseur, I am happy we agree on this one!
Thank you for the super simple breakdown of all the steps you took. It makes learning new techniques so much easier!
At your service! Here to help!

Thanks, Alex! I know you like the lil munchkins as much as I do, so I'm glad you liked my approach!

@@rushthewash Dang! These proxy squigs are awesome, thanks for sharing :)
Amazing content miguel
Gracias, jefe!!
Great work! I'm still missing Waywatcher Green . ;) Mantis Warrior Green is a good substitute.
Tell me about it. This one is VERY close to what I want, and it is an absolute beast for painting greenskins.

Hey Miguel, Do you thin the Sigvald Burgundy for the wash over the skin?
I love em!
Yes, it is SUPER intense, so it is better to thin it and do a couple of glazes!

No, not yet, and I need to remind myself to actually get to it. Hopefully after the summer!
