In the 6th ed Orcs and Goblins book there was a magic item, The Iron Boar (or something like that), that counted as a mount. There was no rule about taking multiple mounts so I put my Savage Orc Warboss on a chariot and modeled a third Boar onto it. Boss had frenzy and kicking boots for 7 or 8 attacks + 3 Boar attacks +1d6 impact hits from the chariot + 1d3 impacts from the magic boar + the crews attacks came out to twenty something attacks from my general. My gaming group hated on that Boss for years.
I really enjoyed how you used that Reaper screaming mushroom. Now I'm going to have to buy at least one of those packages for use with my greenskin minis.
This is something I want to try to incorporate more often. In my opinion miniatures are just another form of storytelling. So adding a bit of narrative in a hobbyvideo feels like a natural inclusion. Thank you very much for watching!
As a gsc player i use a lot of kitbashes and conversions my fav is the warhammer plus kasrkin i turned into a primus and in his 3rd arm hes holding the decapitated head of the original model.
Oops my apologies to your wallet 😄 but seriously I was thinking about buying it as well but I already have about 80% of the contents lying around here. I’m thrilled about the new army book though!
Great video and superb work! I found my old Nightgoblin regiment in the basement back from 2003 painted as a kid. Now I try to convert and repaint them giving each of them unique feats (foe.: a shaman with a horse skull hat, one dragging a bag and so on...) I am still learn the basics. The converting part is seems to work, but I really don't know how to paint, better then colouring. Your video is great inspiration and a solid guide to what techniques I should learn. Thank you!!!
This sounds awesome! The conversion part is such a great way to give your models more personality and make them truly your own, especially when you're still learning your ropes in the painting department. I'm very happy to see that this video inspires you. Thanks for watching! :)
I know exactly what you mean. I just started another project and have absolutely no time for it 😄 But I’m happy the video gives you some inspiration! That’s exactly what I’m aiming for with this channel!
Love your passion and devotion for minis. Not to say you paint badly, but there are many good painteres, and very few (counting not so good ones) who can transfer fun and joy to viewer.
Such a cool job! I am making all the new models that come next year(wolf git mob) so it has a Moonclan vibe, gonna do what you did but gonna use face of the mangler(it fits surprisingly well) on cave squig and switch the head of the git.
Great Idea! Maybe I'll go back and try to do something like that. But still I want to have the look of Blitz barely hanging on to the chariot, which I really like! I thought about hiding it with some bits that “fly away”, but I’d probably need to pin those as well.
@@LenricsRealm Good news! There's been a minor leak that has revealed the general contents of the book, and the Loonboss with Great Cave Squig (Skarsnik) is still in the book, despite being discontinued.
Plus if he is ever booted fully then you could probably convince your opponent to let you run it as a loonboss on cave squig since he is still sorta riding/ being pulled along by the squig.
While I think other armies give me ideas for stories and such but gits get my creativity going like the gits. I mean like learning watercolors and finding someone/learning to do some basic writing composition and making a little compendium of little git short stories complete with little water color story book illustrations. Like this army is one of my first real inspirations to try and embark on a big creative project or explore really new creative outlets before, and while I'll probably never do this whole thing just do to time and scope it's still pretty big.
Awesome to read this! I hope you find the time and act on your inspiration. I know how frustrating it can be to have ideas but not the time to realise them.
@@LenricsRealm thanks for the inspiration, but between getting through college and still wanting to start actually painting a army first it will be a while. In the meantime brainstorming never hurts though.

They are really great! My only regret is that I didn’t buy more of them 😄
Another awesome video Matt, thank you.
No thank you for watching 😄 Glad you like it!
Absolutely stunning kitbash
Thank you so much!
Very inspiring video, I love these kind of conversions. Keep them coming!
Thank you very much!
This is insanely cool!!!
Great work! The conversation/kitbashing is fantastic but I really admire the added narrative too.

@@LenricsRealm you have become a huge inspiration to me working on my gitz army. Please keep it coming.
This is awesome to see! I’m definitely going to have more Gitz videos in the future!
Im going to buy the gitz Christmas box because of you. You've given me way to much inspiration not to try my hand at some squigs

Whoo more goblins😊😊
Whoo hoo! :)
This is a freaking awesome model👍 I've kitbashed a loonboss on cavesquig you're making me want to do a loonboss and cavesquig now 👍

I wonder if havng blitz stand on some boxes instead of just being bucked in the air could hide the pin

It's gonna be sad when the Loonboss with Great Cave Squig (old Skarsnik) profile is getting retired next book. You did a fantastic job converting one.
Yeah I feared that could happen tbh. But still it was a great hobby experience! Thank you very much for watching!
