Folks...keep in mind this drill is predicated on you having a double edged knife. While this will work for a single edged blade it will not inflict as much damage and will be more used for a control at the end of each sequence. This is a variation on the outside outside drill..

Your taking a stance primarily used for stabbing with a needle point dagger meant for stabbing and using it to cut.
After the first cut your crossed arms are perfectly bent to stab yet you perform a hook and cut instead.
Your technique makes sense with a karambit not a dagger.
What style of Kali are you guys?
