I've always wanted this car during my senior year at high-school back in the 90s. I didn't have a job and parents couldn't afford me a car. So one day I found someone getting rid of it for $500, I took it off his hands right away!
The gentleman had owned the car for 30yrs but hadn't driven it for the last 10yrs because he was not legally able to drive a motor vehicle. He had some sort of condition that he was hoping would go away every year for those 10yrs.
Car was just sitting in the back of his driveway collecting dirt and rust. Nothing was working. We agreed on the $500 plus I cover the towing fees. I had a friend that can fix up cars so asked him to restore it for me.
My budget at the time was $10,000 to restore the Prelude......but ended up closer to $25,000! It was very hard to find parts, so it took over 1 year to get the project completed.
Nevertheless, it was worth the wait. It sounds and drives like a toy car. Brings me back to my high-school days again. Everywhere I drive I get so much attention
From kids to adults. They all want to take pics of the Prelude and sometimes ask to sit in it. Guys would stop next to me in traffic and tell me how much they love my car. One pedestrian saw me drove by kept yelling "f'n Prelude! that's a f'n Prelude man!!!".
in summer of 2019 My Prelude was rented to be in a TV commercial. I got paid $750 for the one day of shooting. was pretty sweet.

I noticed you have kids . How is the back seat room ? Can they comfortably back there. Also do you know any where or anyone selling a 90 or 91 auto prelude in the Vancouver BC area ?
My older daughters enjoy sitting in the back seat. Even my friends sit in the back and has no issues. These preludes are getting more rare now. Best you check market place on FB.
