Great video guys,
Did you know it's those little jobs that get you over the line at the end.
Or so I'm told.🤪
We all caught your dad nodding off 🥱 but it's always great seeing him on the tools show you how it's done.
Anyhoo thanks for sharing and I'll catch you on the next one.
✌️ from Melbourne Australia.
Great to see another video drop again so soon and I hope your Dad’s back upto speed again soon.
God bless you and your dad bro.
Fantastic video again guys, I love the whole series. I hope Dad is feeling a lot better very soon, it's great to see him working away. You make a great team.
I do hope your dad is not too bad and we see him again very soon . A little tip (that you probably know ) that repair panel you made .... l make mine out of thin cardboard . And l would have made the complete end section flush fit first, open the pattern up and then add the folded edges . Then all you would have needed to do is plug weld as normal . Hope this makes sense . Always enjoyable to see you both .
Thanks for the update...👍
Great work , looking forward to seeing this one completed 😎

Loving this project, My first car was an 850 mini and I currently drive bmw cooper sd Jcw. Also my son is restoring a 1973 early mk3. Both you and your dad's enthusiasm is inspiring. Keep up the good work 👍
Top work again, lads.👍 Hope your Dad is better soon - it was probably the Old Speckled Hen wot did it!🍺
Haha! Thank you 👍
“Wot” did it ?
A couple of the family got the virus including my Mam so he needed to stay home for a while plus I had cold. We getting back on track now though. Thank you for asking 😊👍

every bit of work helps to the finish and hope your dad gets well soon
Brilliant stuff could watch you guys for hours can't wait for the next installment 👍👏👌
Good to see another great video. I noticed your dad nodding off at about 1:30 I think you're working him to hard. You could give him a slot for about half a minute to review the 'beer of the week'. Real ale reviews and car restoration - it sounds good to me.
I hope your Dad feels better soon, I think he needs an adult beverage👍
Thank you 👍. I couldn’t agree more, a large single malt should do the trick.
Great stuff the pair of you , and enjoy the tinnies 🍻👍
Cracking job so far 👍👍👍 hope ya dad recovers from his hangover soon 😂😂
No seriously I hope he get well soon 👍👍
Top work guys ! I have to ask though why didnt you restore the mk2 shell ? Regards MEC from MEC-TEC
In that first bit time-lapse it looked like your dad was dozing off a bit . I hope he gets better soon. keep up the good work
nice video 👍 what camera are you using.?
Hi thank you. I use my iPhone12 with a Rode shotgun mic.
I think you need to get your dad a nice armchair for the garage. I hope he's feeling better now 😊.
hi guys drink be for u start y not nice job of welding too grate video
Really good vlog doing great work! I have a question for you? Can you let me know the model number of your vertical tank Clark compressor please?
Cheers
Hi. Absolutely, this is the compressor we have. www.machinemart.co.uk/p/clarke-ve18c150-18cfm-industrial-vertical-elec-2/ love it
A mate of mine in the early 70s had a mk1 mini and got someone to fit the later rear light cluster in cost about £ 12 at the time ! Forward engineering ?
Sorry to hear your Dad's not a 100% ,saw him nodding, keep up the good work
Muito bom vamos acabar...top é nos krekauto funilaria Brasil
Brilliant work as usual just curious are you keeping running gear as period mk1 have you an age related plate for it too
Hi, I think we with be going for a bit of the modern spec on the running gear, still A-serious engine though.
Brilliant work on the mini however I can’t help but think you would have spent less time rebuilding a mk1 mini than you have modifying this shell which will never be a mk1 just a modified later model?
Presumably, a mk 1 in anything like decent condition will cost a fortune - and a knackered one will require an enormous amount of reconstruction, so.....!?
theres a 100 guys or more that would love that green one to restore i would take it but los angeles is a bit to far to get it
Ever thought of building a MINI SPRINT ?
That would be a cool project, might look into that one 👍
Get well soon to your Dad. Why was there that missing bit at the end of the crossmember? Did I miss that in an earlier episode?
Hi, apologies for delayed reply. It was a bit rotten and we needed access behind it when detaching the sills to fit mk1 sills.
I hope ya dad is ok mate
Is your dad sleeping in the background
Ru gonna put 2 tanks like the Cooper s m8??
Hi ive got a 1972 6 wheeler mini van
It just dawned on me watching the opening scenes from this vlog, it's actually a MK 1 " Mini-Bar " you are building. 😉😁 🍻
