    This video is awesome...after hours of trying to get this belt on from the other side of the pulley...finally watched this and took me 5 minutes to install. Thanks a million.

    Important note that you need to add. If you have a manual transmission, make sure that it is in neutral. If not, the compression makes the harmonic balancer spin slightly counter clockwise after you rotate it. This makes it where the belt will jot walk onto the HB pulley.

      I think that's why I ripped my belt trying the 1st time, Thanks for that note

    Awesome. I was trying from the front like how ppl do it with the 3.5L. the belt keep slipping off the AC compressor. I didn't think there was enough room in the back to slide the belt in. Thank you!

    Just a tip to make it easier, put 3 zip ties on the balancer so the belt wont just keep slipping off while you rotate. Besides that everything is the same as how u do it. Good job.

    I have installed a new ac belt but it’s a bit loose and squeaky on high rpms. What can I do to stop this issue I try different belts but still get the same result. I know the mustang doesn’t have a tensioner for the ac belt.

    • @ItzMurphhh
      @ItzMurphhh 4 місяці тому

      Your pulley in the ac compressor is whats squeaking and moving. Replace the compressor

    • @a.g.performance
      @a.g.performance  Рік тому

      With a screwdriver carefully, have someone inside spin it with the key but not crank it, put the screwdriver by the ac compressor pulley and let the belt ride the screwdriver, just don’t put it all the way in just the tip of it

    Not having luck with this. I’m working in my driveway with the air intake and coolant reservoir out of place to make room. Once the large pulley caught, the best slipped off the compressor pulley and I’m in a jam right now. Just a word of caution to those doing this DIY at home.
