Wonderful display of ingenuity and persistence! I'm subscribing. This was worth the time to watch it. Certainly was fun watching what a lathe can do in the hands of someone with great skill.
HE NEVER FINISHED THIS!... AFTER 2 PARTS All I need is a $10k metal lathe a $2k drill press, $10k band saw, $20k CNC, $2k+ of bits and dies about another $1k in hand tools, $£3500 Welder, $100 of scrap metal and I can build a $300 pipe bender. Honey.... I need the credit card!
Money is not the reason for the still unfinished project, the most valuable thing is time, which is simply lacking, I run the channel not out of compulsion but for pleasure, and there is not always time for it... Nevertheless, I will finish it soon ;)
@@mateuszturek5760 You're welcome. Let me know if you want a free premium forum membership ($69/year) and you can post your videos on our forum whenever you want. We have lots of YTers on board.
Thank you, greetings from Poland, I didn't count the time spent on construction, I mostly built it in the afternoons after work, so it's hard to say, but it took a long time, and it's still not finished, although it has grown a bit since the last video.
You don't have a workshop there, but a whole factory =) with lathes and a huge number of components for machine tools. I am looking forward to your video with testing of the created device. I was confused by the plastic arc pulling the chain, it seems to me it will be erased over time from the chain, perhaps it would be better to use a metal bearing as a tensioning roller.
thank you :) but it is a really "small" workshop;) I used not ordinary plastic to make the tensioner, it's a kind of polyamide, I decided that it would be a better solution than, for example, a metal roller. It is a "slippery" material, and due to its shape, i.e. a large contact surface with the chain, the work is very quiet :)
Thank you! of course, there is still a lot to do with the lathe, I have a lot of ideas, but for now there is no time for it, there will certainly be more films about it!
in fact, my videos are also watched by people with other interests, who may not know what I am actually doing at the moment, industry adding comments in the next video;) thank you for the comment :)
Thank you, it's a machine for bending profiles and pipes, into circles and arcs, I will present its operation in the 3rd episode of construction :) in the meantime, I encourage you to watch the second part ;)
listen to the boss,,,,, don't forget to stop by for black coffee together... goes duit and goes natural so that you will increase your enthusiasm for work and add brothers thank you very much
Hi. I have a question? Is there a rule or a formula to determine the coast of the distance between two lower rollers of a roller hanger (3 rollers). Thank you cordially
Hi, I don't know if there is one, I calculated it myself taking into account the minimum radius I would like to get. If you plan to bend large arches or thick materials, make a larger spacing, if small arches or small profile cross-sections, make a smaller spacing. You can also manipulate wheel diameters.
great job !!!! lot of work ! nice method to mill a keyway on a lathe. you used plain soft wire (2 wires twisted) for TIG welding? must fix that sound delay...
Thank you! I used a wire as for the mig / mag method twisted from 2 pieces, I think that in some clips you felt the impression of sound delay because I made them a bit lower

Like the video fabulous design work and super impressed with the lathe/machining centre that I'm guessing you also made . cheers

Hi, this looks really good! What size tube did you use for the 3 main axle housings? It’s a really good design. Cheers.
Or were they machined from a billet? What’s the OD? Cheers!
Hi, I don't remember exactly but around 90-100 mm wall at least 10mm

Man, the time it must’ve taken to make those holes must’ve been three days!
Yes, it took a long time, maybe not three days, but a long time. Few people notice such facts😉
Great video! As always great example of craftsmanship!! Keep up with upload schedule!
Thank you for your motivation! the next part of the construction is coming soon ;)
