I am 6'4 and bought a 2022 mt-07....its such a great bike, i dont feel like its small for me at all, so much power the sound it makes is insane, if you want it buy it there is nothing youre gonna hate about this bike
2016 fz07 and I’m 6’5 love the bike because I don’t feel giant on it. I may look big on it but it feels great. Also my first bike so definitely recommend as a first, I’ve had some experience riding bigger bikes and getting the Fz07 as first bike was the best decision
Yeah I noticed that the first time I ever test rode the bike but tbh I never even thought about it after that, I am not sure if it's an MT-07 trait but it never affected anything else while riding
Great Video and thanks for the insight. Im 6'7" with a 35" inseam and absolutely love the look of this bike. Considering picking it up as my first ever bike and I am wondering if you did any modifications to the pegs or shifter/brake to help ease your tall frame onto it? Is there room on the right side to be able to move the pegs and not get caught up on the exhaust if I needed to make an adjustment? Thanks in advance.
Sorry for the late reply, you can buy rear set adjusters which would help you, I only just fit on, so I would assume you might need them, I made a video of me sitting on the bike which would help you if you haven't seen it already
@@marioperic8005I’m also 6’7 and was looking at both the MT07 and MT09. It’ll be my first bike and don’t know if I can be trusted on an MT09 but was mainly for size. Have you had a go on the 07? If you did how did you find it for size?
Was looking at the mt10 but it's a different beast and the higher fuel consumption put me off. I love the mt07 it's lighter, cheaper to buy and run, that sound 😃
These videos are awesome - thanks for sharing your experience. What device are you using to record audio/video? It sounds like the audio is clipping when the wind reaches a high decibel. Do you have the raw audio files you can put in Audacity to see if the loud sections are peaking? There might be a setting in your device to change the dynamic range / bit depth... higher bit depth (16 bit, 24, 32 floating point) will solve the clipping and improve sound quality but increase the file size. You could also try putting a piece of masking tape or some type of foam over the microphone to soften the sound -It might muffle your voice too much though.
Most of the time I will leave my key in the ignition and just throw my gloves in over it so no one actually can see it. Especially while it is in the garage. Less wear on the ignition.
Stock seat and stock rear sets. For me personally it's comfortable for about 2 hours before I need to take a break, I feel it most in the hips, but I will try to make a video this weekend where you can see me on the bike and my riding position
I'm a good bit more lightweight than the uploader but the same height. Do you reckon it would be more comfortable for someone who weighs less... Perhaps for longer than 2 hours?
Alright mate. What’s the comfort like compared to your old wr125x? That’s what I have but I’m thinking about an mt07 next because I feel like it will be comfier than a sumo, I’m 6ft2
Hi lad, you have more leg room on the WR125x, but the actual seat and seating position is a lot more comfortable on the MT-07. I can be on the MT for a good few hours before feeling the need to stop
@@yamaheart260 okay mate thanks for the advice, the wr hurts my bum after about 30mins lol. I also find the rear brake is in a really uncomfortable position on the wr
@@georgeyboy8186 No don't be worried, just be aware! It will feel so fucking fast when you first pull the throttle, you will just be laughing your head off in your helmet haha! Just take it steady because all the power is low down on that bike, and it will bite you if you abuse the throttle

Started my course yesterday and had a MT-07, it was really insane
Yeah my local school uses these too.... Haha smart move by the owner 😎

Did you buy foot peg offsets?
i just noticed the gear indicator does not show anything when you 're in fifth gear. any idea why that happens?

Sounds beautiful mate. Is that the stock pipe and airbox? I've always wanted one. Think you've got the best colour in blue 👍🏽
Cheers brother, it has a full Black Widow exhaust on in that video
@@yamaheart260 Thanks mate. The sound is just spot on seriously.... I'll have to remember that make 😎👌🏽
Got the same bike just in the storm fluo scheme. Glad you haven't stuck gay bar end mirrors on it.
He’s 6’5 lmao he struggles with stock mirrors

You guys make me feel less worried, I’m only 6”2 and I have been worrying about my fit on a bike! I think I’m good now

I'm 192cm tall and 90kg do you think I will fit on mt 03?
I've never sat on an MT03. However, if it's like the KTM 390 which uses the same frame as the 125 then it is far too small for me
is this the 2021 or 2022
Mine is a 2019 model, but the new shape MT-07 is almost identical in size
do you have the comfort or stock seat? How comfortable do you feel on this bike? I'm also 6,5' and trying to decide between a XSR700 and this one.
