- Hi there! This video was filmed shortly before Christmas when we were mainland and happened to pass by an Aldi grocery store. It's almost entirely a carnivore diet shopping haul, but there are some sweets in here that we bought for stocking stuffer gifts based on the time of year we filmed this video. Hope that is okay with everyone! We don't often find ourselves near an Aldi's store, so we wanted to take advantage of the opportunity knowing World Carnivore Month was coming right around the corner and we were checking out new places to find the most efficient deals & quality meats, eggs, & cheeses. Hope you enjoy!

I’ve started shopping at Aldi and live there meats cheese and the pasture raised eggs
Hi there Barry! yes we do love Aldi. They have fantastic steaks and always great prices on eggs. And they have some awesome cheeses!!! If we had one more close to where we live, we would probably shop there every week! :). Thank you for watching :)
I’m english and have to agree. We do do cheddar really well! I live abroad and always bring some back with me 🧀
Hi there! Wow, So cool to hear someone from so far away saw our youtube video! England certainly puts out some of the BEST cheddar cheese! Where are you living now, and do you have Aldi’s grocery stores or something similar? 🩵🩵🩵
@@michaelandjulie I’m in Germany, the home of Aldi! Although when i see Aldi’s products in other countries they always seem to have better stuff!
Oh wow, how cool! I hope to visit Germany one of these days just to check out German Aldi’s. Aldi’s has the most unique candy & treats around the holiday season, things I’ve never seen or can’t find at any other grocery stores. 🩵🩵🩵
I have never made beef broth I been looking for marrow bones but no luck at the butcher. I also give my fur baby chicken😊
Hi Cathy! I have only made bone broth a few times with T-bones and stew bones. I for sure haven't perfected how to make it taste the best, but I sometimes have a cup or bone broth in the mornings instead of coffee and love that. I think chicken is our pup's love language 😍😍😍
I thought saying "ALDi's" was just a midwestern thing. Good to see it's kind of all over the place.
Now I know what TV Static tastes like. lol! Great line.
Hi there Cory! Julie here. Yes Aldi’s are all over the South! I remember shopping at them as a child in the 1990’s so they’ve for sure been around awhile. I didnt know back then they are a grocery store though! HAHA TV static, that’s the best way I know to describe sparkling water 😂😂😂
Butter for $3 a pound is a great deal even if it's grain fed.
Hi Boink, yes it sure is! You can't beat that price these days, it seems. Thank you for commenting! 🧈 💪🏻
When I get chicken I always get with bones and skin you get more flavor plus the bones go toward bone broth.
Hi there Cathy! There's definitely a lot more flavor in chicken that includes skin & bones! We have been eating less & less chicken lately though, although it's still what we are primarily feeding our furbaby. I've tried making broth with chicken broth, but it never turned out as tasty as what I made with beef bones! I should try a broth made with both kinds and see how that turns out. Thank you for the comment! 🩵🩵🩵
Aldi. The store is called Aldi.
Hi there! Thank you, yes, we know 🙂
@@michaelandjulie Aldi not Aldi's.
I love Aldis I shop there all the time however stay away from the Stollen bread it's all sugar I used to eat it once upon a time 😋😅. And what's with the water with the white cap I don't understand the reference to that
Hi there KCCAT! Julie here. Haha I hear you, we did not try out the Stollen bread even though it was tempting. We do make occasional splurges for sugar, but it's really rare! And that close to the holiday season, we knew we should limit our options since it seems like there are desserts and pastries on every turn in December! About the water bottle caps - Michael has done some investigating into what the colored caps on water bottles mean. White caps are for processed water, blue is from a spring, black is alkaline water, and green is usually flavored spring water. I see purple sometimes too, but am not sure what that means. Because we are living in an area with contaminated water and are forced to buy all our water bottled right now, we are considering the colored cap each time we purchase. Our motto "white is worst" reminds us that we'd always rather choose the black or blue caps over the white ones since it's processed differently. I hope that helps! He could probably explain it a little better if you still have questions, I've only told you as much as I know. Thank you so much for watching and commenting! :).
Use cottage cheese as a dip
Hi James! That's a great idea. We have used cottage cheese to make pimento cheese and other types of seasoned dips in the past. It's not really a favorite of ours, but it does work well if uoure looking for a low-carb, high-protein dip base. Thanks for the suggestions! ❤️🤍💙
@@michaelandjulie I love your channel, keep up the content, be blessed.
Aw thank you so much for the kind words! We are thrilled that you're enjoying our content! ❤️🤍💙

COSTCO the best f😊or meat
Hi there, Miss B! That’s what I’m hearing in the carnivore tiktok community. Everyone is talking about how good CostCo meat tastes and how inexpensive it is! We would for sure love to try it out. We don’t currently have a Costco membership, and the closest store is about 13 miles away and not on route to anywhere we really go often sadly 😕. For sure if that changes, we would love to get in on the club and see what the hype is about! Thank you for watching & commenting 🥩 🍔 💪🏻
Cut pork for BP
Hi James! Neither Michael or I have high blood pressure. We eat a pretty high sodium diet also! But I'm sure if your blood pressure is high, limiting pork and heavily salted meats would be a good option. Thank you for commenting! ❤️🤍💙
