Almog Waingarden just imagine the news covering that story: “Today Scrooge mcduck was found dead in a long lost anschient temple of death. His nephew and sole heir Donald Duck has said to this: It was a shame that my uncle was stabbed to attacked by an ancient spear wielding maniac who shat him after a gruel fight. At least that’s what I think he said. That or it could have been a confession to murder. I can’t understand what he said.
and now we have: Webby: tougher than the toughies Violet: smarter than the smarties Lena: sharper than the sharpies Scrooge, 22, and Della are all all 3; and Donald is Donald.
@Yakko Warner That's great to hear. I like your show and your warner siblings Wakko and Princess Angelina Contessa Louisa Francesca Banana Fanna Bo Besca III aka Dot. I also do like Buttons and Skippy Squirrel and you singing the nation of the world, multiplication, and all the words in the English language which I'm glad you hung in there when you felt exhausted. You and the your other sibs are cute.
I loved that it was essentially a Louie episode. Or rather, a Louie _and_ Huey episode. We haven't seen just the two of them before I don't think. It was great. I loved Duckworth's excuse for getting out of game night: "Spooky things ooooh..." lol Beakley was great as well, basically, everyone was great! Another favourite quote was from Gyro: "Be careful! They don't trust outsiders for some reason! *awkward smile*" lol I love this version of Gyro.
I guess season 1 was more Dewey-focused when you think about it. Maybe season 3 will be Huey. :D Interesting way of doing it if it's true. :D If they get a season four perhaps it'll be Webby then.
Woah! There's a giant space glove that has Infinite Power? Wait What? A Purple bald alien is trying to wipe out half the universe with it? Ahhhhh!!! I don't feel so good... *dust*
I think my most favorite aspect of this episode was how roughly every character got a chance shine in some way. By that I don't just mean Louie's character arc and Huey's involvement, but also the team dynamics between Dewey and Webby, and Scrooge and Donald, along with Launchpad, Mrs. Beakley, Duckworth, and Gyro all having their entertaining moments. Considering how that's ten characters total, that's really impressive.
I liked how Louie eventually found his place in the family when it comes to adventuring. Also, I found it HILARIOUS when they were playing charades. This show is on the right track, and I can’t wait for the next episode. Oh, WHY CAN’T THIS UPCOMING SATURDAY BE HERE ALREADY!?
Something that sent me into a laughing fit was the reveal that Scrooge still doesn't know Dewies name. The look on that poor boys face XD I also loved all the stuff with Duckworth. He is hilarious.
I found it particularly funny that they actually visited "The Lost City of Cibola" in the opening sequence, since it was the Carl Barks story that inspired George Lucas to create the iconic Indiana Jones opening in "Raiders of the Lost Ark". It has come full circle!
It's great because it shows that the writers really are fans themselves and know their trivia. _On top of_ writing a solid story that stands by itself and does not rely on those hommages.
However, it's not clear that they knew about the fact that the boulder scene from Indiana Jones was inspired by the comic that took place at that location, do they?
Seeing how obscure some of the comic book references were in previous stories, there's a good chance they knew. It's pretty clear that the writers are hardcore Carl Barks and Don Rosa fans so they are *definitely* aware of the connection. And the inclusion of Ferthry Duck and Rodgerduck in the next few episodes that they are fans of the Italian creators as well (eg. Romano Scarpa). (Yeah, Rodgerduck was a Carl Barks creation, but it was the Italians who developed his character) Personally I am looking forward to see what they do with Ferthry Duck in the second episode because he is my *least* favorite character in the comics. I really want to see what they will come up with to make him interesting.
The opening shot of Scrooge and the kids was like a saying of "Hey, fans...miss us? Well, here we are!" Also, anyone remember Disney's version of Monopoly? It's already got Scrooge's face all over the money!
They actually changed the intro, but slightly! Just to point some differences, the lasers were from Gizmoduck and the 4 villains in one screen had Magica in the back.
Yeah noticed those, also I think the villains climbing the Ducktales logo was slightly different with the arms reaching up, one of them was the lightbulb mecha's claw and the robot was seen falling off the logo as well.
Ryan De Guzman Oddities about the intro for Season 2: I don’t think we’ll be seeing Captain Peghook, Pixxu the Gold Hunting Dragon nor the Pharaoh Monster again, yet they’re still in the intro. Plus Doofus not being amongst the villains in the intro makes me wonder if we’ll see him again, and see what Scrooge the Richest Duck in the World thinks of him.
I've noticed that Gyro's personality has grown more enthusiastic than when first met him in season 1. He's a little more like he was in the original 'DuckTales', but still has that bombastic narcissism intact. Also, this episode made me thing of 'The Micro Ducks From Outer Space', which also uses 'shrinking' as it's plot device, but is COMPLETELY different from this one. Wonder if we're gonna lean more about the 'tiny tribe' in the mansion later on in the series.
*screeches* LOUIE IS ACTUALLY SO PRECIOUS Huey has the brains Webby has the fists Dewey has the guts and Louie has the power to see multiple possibilities and come up with many ways to solve a problem..(because laziness actually can be a good thing as it can help with finding the quickest ways to things) Huey would be able to do it but he isn't open minded enough Webby and Dewey are to focused on the adventure So Louie is just perfect for this and im so happy Louie has an important role in adventure ..maybe even the most important :D
I'm loving the more Duckworth inclusion. His dynamic with Mrs. Beakley makes them both much more fun characters than they ever were in the original series.
"I should've seen it, the way you were picking apart our adventures! The "Woah!", the "Wait, what!?", the "Aaaah!"." Almost immediately after, scrooge gives Louie the golden idol. "Woooaaah...!" Then he comes up with the idea for "Louie Inc.", and the other kids see the sign on his door and respond: "Wait, what!?" Me, after I realized what was going on here: "AAAAAH! I get it!"
My favourite moment in an episode that was brilliant all round (apart from the mental breakdown) was when they were moving through the dart trap, they did the dance from the original series logo and played a bit of its music.
+Skytower Gnome Didn't the show's creators explicitly say that Webby wasn't going to get a romance with any of the triplets? Personally I hope they stick to that, they're all such great friends and it'd kinda ruin it for me if they stuck a romance in there. Besides, they're all what, 11? 12? They can wait a few years.
I didn't see that, but it would make sense. After all they aren't going to age. But the romantic in me wonders that if they were allowed to ago who would Webby chose?
This season animation and writing it's so great! I think they are going with the same format of teen Titans to give every brother a central season. Besides the animation it's so much mature you can see it on the expressions are much more explicit. And the writing how the characters complete each other. How the family dinamics works it's so well done in this season.
Yaaay! More Ducktales, and reviews from Seaniccus and OMG! I just realized something cool. When Louie aimed the Microphone at the nomad (by that I mean the screen) its a callback to the opening of Ducktales! I say opening because I never saw the episode that has that scene.
I love, how they are refering to previous duck adventures. First part is inspired by Raiders of The Lost Ark, which was inspired by Uncle Scrooge comics story "The Seven Cities of Cibola". Even the statue looks amost the same as in the comics. And the map in the statue is actually the one you can see in the background of the credits of original Ducktales.

Never let Scrooge play Mario Party or Smash Bros lol
I have a quick theory from the season 1 finally. What if the reason Scrooge couldn't find Della over all those years was because the cosmic storm sent her forward in time to the beginning of the show when Scrooge reunited with his family?
Ending of the episode has me wondering if the other 3 kids will get their own artifacts as their own “number one dime” to start their road to whatever it is they go for(billionaires perhaps as well?) and all four artifacts will culminate together to take down an evil either in this season’s finale or much later in the series. Idk just a thought
I really like the little touch ups they made with the intro, such as with gizmoduck shooting the laser in the beginning and magica being added to the villain panels
It seems like this show is doing something I was hoping it would do for a while, devote each season to the development of each of the triplets. we got a lot of Dewey last season, and it looks like (at least from this first episode) that Louie will get the spotlight this season
2:18 Replacing Rich Uncle Pennybags with Scrooge seems like a no-brainer. The huge wealth, the top hat, the cane. I bet the writers and animators were quite eager to design that Monopoly parody.
This was absolutely the perfect review for this episode, very happy you got it out so quickly after waiting for you to play catch-up in season one. Definitely a great way to do it, even if this is shorter & less scripted, I very much liked it. Happy about season two coming in, at Rose City Comicon, Aaron Sparrow hyped me up for the second season since he knows how much of a Darkwing Duck fan I am, he didn't have to say much, just that there's a treat in the second season so that left me wanting it to get here sooner. Great start to it, I saw it about three times already & am looking forward to the next episode, hoping that it's not too long of a wait for whatever treat Aaron hinted at but whatever it is, I know it has to be good. He dropped hints before things were revealed in the second season like I knew Mrs. Beakly was a SHUSH agent ever since the first episode was about a month past airing, I theorized it, dropped my theory by Aaron, & he didn't deny it so I knew it was true. He kinda let it slip & that was a hard secret to keep, I might of accidentally said a few things in the comments on my alternate account because it was hard not saying anything. He also kinda dropped a few hints about the Gizmoduck episode but kept it vague enough to when it aired, I was able to be surprised & excited. Season two is going to be excellent, with the perfect episode to kick it off, I can not wait to get more into it.
I was actually starting to empathize with Louie and his desire to "take a break" from adventuring, because even the best of them need a break every now and then, right? But apparently there was a deeper meaning to his desire to want a break, even though I figured back-to-back, death-defying adventures was enough of a reason to want to have a break. Also, "sharper than the sharpies" comes from "The Last of the Clan McDuck" comic, and is what he said after he gets his Number One Dime, thinking he's been cheated by a "sharpie", which basically means a dishonest and cunning person, a cheat. Scrooge is not only smart, but he's clever in terms of outwitting his foes, which is something Louie is good at, too. I'm glad he finally realizes that. I ALSO love how most people assume the beginning is an Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark reference, including you as it turns out, yet it's actually a reference to the comic "The Seven Cities of Cibola", which itself is what inspired that scene from Raiders! It's like how an episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic had a bunch of con-men singing about how what they're selling is so great, and so many people thought it was a reference to the monorail song from The Simpsons, when both are meant to be references to the movie The Music Man, which is about a man trying to con a town out of their money. Also, the season 2 opening now has Magica in it, neat.
I loved all of the jokes in this episode, but the theme song bass line bit was what got me giddiest: Step, turn, step, turn, step, turn-dooodge, and step!
LOL, you didn't talk about how Gyro was even more unhinged than usual in this episode! It's like he was on something! And since when is adventure his thing, too?
interestingly, the sequence int the temple is not, as many have guessed, based on Indiana Jones. It's based on a classic ducktales comic called 'the seven cities of cibola' 'or seven cites of gold'. it was published in 1954, 27 YEARS before raiders of the lost arc was released. speilberg VERY SPECIFICALLY denied having read the comic, despite darts (donald and scrooge took armour from the bones of explorers to get through), boulder (it was part of a the crumbling temple, not a trap) and squabble over the idol all making it into his film. the idol design used here in the episode is taken directly from the comic.
I find it interesting how Dewey and Webby have that Best friends thing going on … and Launchpad ALSO considers Dewey his best friend. So basically, Huey's a bit bossy... Louie's a bit lazy (and manipulative' but Dewey's the one everyone's drawn to.
oh c'mon this episode hasen't even come out yet in australia lucky you put a video on this out nice to see that duckworth is back and SCROOGEOPOLY????????????? where do i get it i want to play it really looking forward to see how they react when they find out that della was on the moon?
2:04 Pretty sure this entire series falls quite squarely into "fair use". Of course Disney does probably have way more money to spend on lawyers than you.
best joke in the entire ep:
scrooge: mess this up and your out of the will
Donald: I'm in the will?
I laugh to hard at that!
Almog Waingarden just imagine the news covering that story:
“Today Scrooge mcduck was found dead in a long lost anschient temple of death. His nephew and sole heir Donald Duck has said to this:
It was a shame that my uncle was stabbed to attacked by an ancient spear wielding maniac who shat him after a gruel fight.

Best line in the episode.
Tougher than the toughies - Dewey
Smarter than the smarties - Huey
Sharper than the sharpies - Louie
It all makes sense now!
AtarahDerek OH!😆
Lol i had the same thoughts
Now if we get a clip of dewey in the gym
Huey eating smarties candy
And louie using a sharpie
Aluminum Wire Flowers OMG yes!
and now we have:
Webby: tougher than the toughies
Violet: smarter than the smarties
Lena: sharper than the sharpies
Scrooge, 22, and Della are all all 3; and Donald is Donald.
I love how the episode right after the incredibly climactic season finale involves board games lol. This episode was really good.

I could understand why Scrooge would have his own board game because he sure doesn't want to be upstaged by Uncle Moneybags.
Marc Baker And he's old enough to make their version of Monopoly being based off him make sense.

what I would give to see David Tennant recording "GAME NIGHT!"
Louie Inc
The future McDuck Enterprises
Wait, the episode about board games is right after the reveal filled two parter?
Starting to see the Disney show this is *really* rebooting
Love how they started season 2 so early and how they're gonna introduce Cousin Fethry and the Three Caballeros so early as well.
Plus Magica and Gizmoduck are in the opening now
Whoa, that was fast!
Justin Riley yeah 😂
@@jennisedits1074 Not that I'm complaining, though.
I did get scared when Louie went crazy eyes at his brother 😨
Wait, the new season started already? How did I miss that?!
interestingly, the sequence int the temple is not, as many have guessed, based on Indiana Jones.
3:36 Hey, that's what Mom and I use to say and my Mom still says it to this day.
Is they're a reason why you hadn't done the feathery duck one
Hope you still get time to go over the references to the old show and comics. I love learning about all that.
I find it interesting how Dewey and Webby have that Best friends thing going on … and Launchpad ALSO considers Dewey his best friend. So basically, Huey's a bit bossy... Louie's a bit lazy (and manipulative' but Dewey's the one everyone's drawn to.
Wait what? It's already back?!
DuckTales season 1 seemed to focus a lot on Dewey. What if season 2 focuses more on Louie?
Lam Luong no you idiot
Maybe it will....
or maybe it will focus on Scrooge.
Maybe it could focus on both Scrooge and Louie. Maybe.
I loved this episode! It was just the right amount of fun that we needed.
oh c'mon this episode hasen't even come out yet in australia lucky you put a video on this out nice to see that duckworth is back and SCROOGEOPOLY????????????? where do i get it i want to play it really looking forward to see how they react when they find out that della was on the moon?
Scrooge’s definition of family is 1000% prefect
Scrooge's response to the suggestion of a "Game Night" is my response
“GAAAAAMEEEE NIIIIIIIGHT”
When are you going to do the feathery duck episode
This was a great episode the animation seem to going better and what they did with the characters was amazing love it.
2:08 In the name of the mouse ,amen
best part was GAMENIGHT, GAMENIGHT, GAMENIGHT XD
ouch. the episode isn't even out yet. in some... countries.
please!
I hate that people stupidly click on videos just to say this crap,if you don't want spoilers, then why the hell did you click on it?
I was laughing When the episode was about game night lol because milo Murphy’s law also did a game night episode in season 2 of the show
Luca Modric, I agree with your duck tales review. Good video. But how do you find the time to do it while playing for Real Madrid?
after all the emotinal revelations last season, i'm surprised the family decided to go on an adventure at the begining of this episode.
Ryan Law it’s not that surprising
GAME NIGHT!
Where can you watch the episode? I'm from europe (denmark) and I really can't find it anywhere. Any who know?

I am always happy to see my boy Llwy getting his own episode.
2:04 Pretty sure this entire series falls quite squarely into "fair use". Of course Disney does probably have way more money to spend on lawyers than you.
This is one of my new favorite episodes of the series
2:06 my thoughts each time I post a video.
Can I just say, Huey's fight scene reminds me of Tailor Mickey vs the Giant
Great Review Seaniccus Love Duck Tales!!! WOO-OO 💰🦆💰😍😍😉👍🏻

Why aren't you doing the fethery duck episode
