Thank you for explaining the reasoning behind the chip failing. It makes a lot of sense: The chip prevents the power from going to ground directly, and the phone from blowing up. If the chip is blown, the phone won't turn on as a safety mechanism. The chip was destroyed by an unauthorized cable sending too much voltage into the chip.

Hi, I replaced my Iphone 6 plus battery ...and probably i connected the new battery first and then connected the screen during the replacement ..i tried everything ex hard start, connecting disconnecting everything but my phone doesn,t start. any suggestions ?

What about if the iPhone (6S plus in this case) registers that the battery is charging, seemingly reaches a 100% charge, however, once the iPhone is unplugged from the power cable, the iPhone shuts off. While the iPhone is charging (and connected to a power supply), it works! Nothing else appears to be wrong. Please advise.

Luis Salazar It’s probably a problem with the logic board, but it could be anything. If you aren’t experienced with working with logic boards, it will be best to send it to an experienced tech to get it fixed.
