Thanks for the video, does changing the number plate lights to the LED units help when reversing as the standard reversing lights don’t illuminate anything?

When i try to separate the old piece from the attachment to the car it wont pop off when im pulling it up..any sugestions?

I changed the bulbs which were bought from halfords and still showed bulb warning light error. Now the left led has blown. By purchasing these will I still have bulb error light on dash?
i have the same problem, but i dont think so that we will have the same problem mate, coz these havin the license lights for oir cars 👍🏻

Do i need to replace the shell to clear ones if i want to put my amber lights back on?

I have a mark 6 estate. The plug that comes from the car isn’t the same fitting as this. It’s way smaller. Looks similar to what connects to the resistor

Hey, what is the function of the loose ends? I installed the same set on my VW Lupo however I didn't use the loose ends and just left the wires hanging. Mine is working fine so far so can you tell me what their function is? I suspect maybe like a canbus system? My Lupo does not have that so maybe, therefore, it is not a problem.

Does this apply to the mk6 2010 gti? At 0:14 you unclip it but on my car it doesn't unclip.
Yea it's the same on all mk6 models your clip might be broken that might be why yours isn't coming of just stick a flat head in there to get it out

Mine doesnt have 2 plugs that connect to the black box. Could I still connect the light without the black rectangle box?
