@@ecstuning Heyo, finally ended up getting it!! Looks great, this video helped a ton!! Couldn't for the life of me figure out the heat shield on the trunk and glove box before this
@@GETEMBEAU81 Definitely. The trim tools will keep you from damaging the plastic lenses and makes it way easier than a screw driver. The pick will also make your life much easier in getting the bulbs out.
@@tamararockz7 but my led's keep flickering slightly (and very annoyingly) when the car is running.. is this also normal? or ir means bad leds or a bad battery (mine is already 5 years old..)?
I'm watching your video 2 years after you made it and putting the new globes in my MK6 GTI. Thankyou so much for making this video.🎉
You are such a legend, thank you, I didn't it all in 10 minutes.
I hate when my friend comes to my house in his MK7 with LEDS.
Yeah so annoying

Man i changed all of mine and this vid really helped! Thanx bro 👌🏻👌🏻🥂
How many people took out that whole upper part trim to change out the map lights? We’ve been doing it wrong all these years. Lol fail.
Hate to see it. Glad we could bring you up to speed!
Great video! Unrelated question... where did you get the cup holders in the centre?
Been looking at the B7 Passat kit for awhile since it's on clearance and I think this video might make me pull the trigger
Hell yea! Do it, it makes a huge difference!

Do these bulbs cause any light codes on the dashboard?
No they do not
@@Bthan69 thank you
I ended up getting a set on eBay for 15 bucks. Works great
@@TechnicaX I figured you’d already got them, I just finished installing mine today
@@Bthan69 nice.
I just bought the bulbs at auto zone and they work just the same
I've never heard of that place. What is it?
@@ecstuning just a normal auto parts store 😂
Glove box one pops a fuse, common issue
So that’s why mine doesn’t work. Smh. Would you happen to know what fuse it is?
Yes I’m jealous of my friends mk7 gti.
I bought the pack and all leds work except for the center overhead console and footwell
I flipped them swapped running out of options
did you figure it out ?

@@ecstuning thank you! You made my day! Much appreciated.

@@ecstuning One more thing, do you suggest the trim tools, or the picks? The website is suggesting those two options.

My LEDs dim when the car is turned on.. is that normal?
yeah, your batterys trying to take some voltage from your lights to keep the car running
