I really love your channel because your recipes are so easy to follow and it's never overly-complicated. I usually have all the ingredients at home and rarely need to go out to purchase expensive food items. I think if i'll make it i'll put the cake batter then the filling then cover it with cake butter again then add the filling as you did on the top. You know Gemma, When I make cinnamon rolls, I always put in the batter a half Tablespoon of cinnamon And half a tablespoon of cardamom it'll give a very nice smell woahhh 😋 Thank you Gemma sooo much, loooove you ❤🌹Xoxo
Sometimes these "sort" of desserts can get kind of cheesy (no pun intended) and kitschy, but this is just so refreshing and chic. Its completely homemade, but easy....no "shortcuts", just simple. So "semi-homemade", completely homemade but uncomplicated. The best of all worlds.

Izyan Darlina have you ever made a coffee cake with a crumb top and a streusel feeling? If so just combined the crumb topping and the streusel feeling together to get a streusel crumb. That's what I do, hope that helps you.😊
i use this recipe (with a little adjustments) 65 grams all-purpose flour (1/2 cup) 50 grams brown sugar (about 1/4 cup packed) 4 tbsp. unsalted butter (1/2 stick) 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Oh Gemma! This cake is so lovely! You make it look so easy! It made me feel sentimental. I have not had any kind of cinnamon bun since my Nan passed away 28 years ago . Only she did not bake, but she always had cinnamon buns in the box cake that starts with an E. Whenever I would go to her house she always gave me a cup of tea because tea solves any problem and is appropriate for any celebration 😊but as you know one can never drink it alone LOL She would always bring out her Entenmann's cinnamon buns and whether you wanted one or not you got it. LOL oops😳 I said the name. I think I will try to make this. I am not too sure about working with a Piping Bag but I'll try because I think a lot of my family would enjoy it. Kelly, you do not apologize here for adding to our lives. In Ireland you cannot say no to a cup of tea! you have to say yes to all food! I think it comes from times when people were hungry, and rich food was scarce. If you had something nice to offer it would be shared, and people thought it more polite to refuse, they had to be persuaded! funny old world :) :)

I think you are right about the times of hunger. My nan came when she was a little baby to NYC, but her family was very very poor. I think that is why with her grandchildren she always made sure that everyone ate. Especially with our tea that cinnamon bun or other treat always mysteriously showed up .
