Hi Gemma, this is really good recipe . Personally when i make the filling , i add in a tablespoon of cocoa powder with the cinnamon . It is a really exciting combination 🥰

Cinnabon’s cinnamon rolls are definitely one of my favorite sweets. My sister loves it when I bring her Cinnabon cinnamon rolls from my trips to the mall. They are so soft and fluffy and I’ve never been able to replicate that with the cinnamon rolls I make at home. Our mom doesn’t get why we like them, but they’re so gooey and sticky and great with some milk or coffee in the morning.
I just wanted to give a huge THANK YOU for this recipe!! It is time consuming, but so worth it. This will be my only recipe for cinnamon rolls. It can’t get any better!!
I follow both of u n love yr recipes..bye I tried these yesterday but didn’t turn out really good later checked my yeast had expired now making them today as well…
I don’t know if you have access to a proof box, knowing that you are doing all your proofing, particularly your final proof in a proof box or in a home kitchen, but I will be baking this in a home kitchen myself. I take it that I will just leave them in a pan, cover them with saran wrap. Also, it is just my understanding, that the cream cheese frosting also has a hint of lemon. I take it that I will just need a squeeze of lemon juice for that. Thank you.
i made this today cus when i saw this recipe i was like i need to make it and today was finally the day i made it it was amazing if you love cinnamonrolls/cinnabons i recomend!!

Made these today but replaced the cinnamon with cardamom. They were delicious. BTW: there is an old recipe you did a few years ago of this that’s different than this, same recipe but I think this is the updated one. Hope this is making sense. The old recipe used 3-1/2 cups flour & bake time was 35-40 minutes at 375°. I had it saved for years and that’s the one I used. It came out good but I’ve since updated with this recipe.

There's a Cinnabon not too far from me in the UK. I really like the Chocobon and Peacabon too. I'm too lazy to make it so will continue buying even though it's expensive! 😅 Your recipe looks fantastic though. 😍

so I made this, but the liquid was not enough for the 4 1/2 cups of flour, so it made quite a thick not soft dough. I guess it depends on the flour I used Five Roses here in Canada, and made a new batch with only 4 cups and omitted the 1/2. That was enough to make a pillow soft dough.
@@biggerbolderbaking Thank you for replying..just so you know 95% of the times your recipes turn out fantastic! this certainly was an issue with my flour. It's all purpose and I guess it was a little fussy. 😄.
The last time I had a Cinnabon cinnamon roll was in 1990, I'm gonna have to make these after I finish up the caramel brownies I made, (your recipe btw) lol.
I love Cinnabon rolls. The aroma beckons at you. I have to have a friend with me because of how big they are and because of the flavor it's hard to stop nibbling on them. I come to believe it has to be the type of cinnamon they use. Now if you can do the mall pretzels. 😋

Nothing beats homemade, can I do the dough the night before and bake it in the morning? Or form the cinnamon rolls ready in a pan for next morning? Thanks for sharing.
You can chill the dough after it has risen the first time. Gently pat the dough to release the air. Form into a ball, cover and chill. You can bake it the following morning. Take it out of the fridge, and let it sit for around 15 minutes, then roll, shape, cover and proof a second time. Once risen, you can pop them into the oven and bake. Hope this helps.
I have been looking for something to take to Church to eat with Coffee, before Service; I FOUND IT 😁😉 Thank You for Sharing, Gemma! BTW, I LOVE your new Home 🏡 & Kitchen ❤️ Very Lovely!
Hi Marisol. You can substitute the butter with margarine. The process is the same. I don’t use margarine in baking or frosting, but it can be a substitute for butter. Use it like you would butter.
I made them 4x times and they came out just like you said. Today they are as dense rocks 😢 I used organic all purpose flour! Less flour? I will try again. And let you know. But if you have an advice I will be very happy. Thank you
Flours do not absorb the same way, even the same kind. Sometimes you may be using one that needs more, or less than the amount in the recipe. Note to hold back on the liquids when combining wet to dry ingredients. Gradually add until the dough comes together to the same consistency shown in the video. Add more liquids if necessary or less if it’s already reached the right consistency even if not all the liquids have been used up. Hope this helps.
Hi Kay. You can use almond milk, but for the butter you will really need fat to get that soft texture in these rolls. Margarine will yield a result that is close to one made with butter. I hope this helps.
@@biggerbolderbaking Thank you for replying. We have a very good butter substitute in The Netherlands, I have baked with it before. So I think it will be fine.
This one is more decadent, and a softer bun. I hope you’ll give this a go. Here’s the recipe www.biggerbolderbaking.com/cinnabon-cinnamon-rolls-recipe/
Dear Gemma, in your old cinnamon rolls recipe, you leave the dough in the fridge overnight, here we don’t, can you explain why? And also, why are we adding water to the milk in the other recipe? Im not very experienced in working with yeast, so Im trying to understand. 😊 Thank you for your great Videos🌹
Hi Mariam. There are two ways to prepare your bread. One is where you knead it. The other is to let time do it through bulk fermentation. Instead of kneading, you can leave it for hours to develop volume and flavor. Hope this helps.
Hi Vinayak. You can try flax eggs or perhaps curd. Note that when you change an ingredient, you also change the result. Here’s my guide on egg substitutes in baking, www.biggerbolderbaking.com/egg-substitutes-for-baking/ For best results for this, follow the recipe here, www.biggerbolderbaking.com/cinnabon-cinnamon-rolls-recipe/
Hi Salesh. these are best eaten freshly made. If not eating straight away, I suggest you freeze these, without the frosting. You can also freeze the frosting separately.
Hi. Yes, you can freeze the dough. After it has risen the first time, gently pat the dough to release the air. Then roll into a ball, cover and freeze. Take it out when you want to bake, and let it sit at room temperature. Once it’s soft enough, roll, fill and shape. Cover and let it rise a second time. Once it has risen, pop into the oven and bake!
@@biggerbolderbaking Thank you so much for being so responsive and I appreciate your cooking very much! Particularly that giant Coffee Cake! You are a star!

Damn this!! Hate, hate hate!! What do I do?? I'm the only one in the family who likes cinnamon. If I make these, who else will eat them? Damn! Damn! Damn!
Hi Kathryn. You can chill after proofing the first time. Just gently pat the air out of the dough, form into a ball, cover and chill. You can roll, fill and shape these into rolls the following day. Proof a second time. Once risen, you can pop these into the oven and bake. I hope this helps.

Delicious 😋
Glad you like it! Thank you for being here.
Can you make a recipe on how to make frosting with margarine instead of butter?
Hi Marisol. You can substitute the butter with margarine. The process is the same. I don’t use margarine in baking or frosting, but it can be a substitute for butter. Use it like you would butter.
@@biggerbolderbaking thank you so much for responding ♥️
Very tasty and yummy!!
Glad you like this!
can these be frozen before the second proof ?
Great upload from you!
Delighted to hear that! I hope you’ll give this a go, www.biggerbolderbaking.com/cinnabon-cinnamon-rolls-recipe/ Enjoy!
They look amazing. Will the recipe work with almond milk and vegan butter and cream cheese. My daughter has a milk allergy. Thank you
Hi Gemma! Whats the difference of this recipe with the one with your no knead best ever cinnamon rolls?
What can I use instead of egg ? And in what quantity ?( in grams)
Hi Vinayak. You can try flax eggs or perhaps curd. Note that when you change an ingredient, you also change the result. Here’s my guide on egg substitutes in baking, www.biggerbolderbaking.com/egg-substitutes-for-baking/

Hi Gemma
Love your recipes ,how long can they be stored without frosting at room temperature.
Hi Salesh. these are best eaten freshly made. If not eating straight away, I suggest you freeze these, without the frosting. You can also freeze the frosting separately.
Mmmm 😍
Would it be possible to freeze the dough and bake anytime later? Thank you very much for your cooking!
My sons requested these for the weekend. Can you tell me if they can be made ahead and reheated?
Yes, you can do that. Pour the cream cheese after you heat the rolls. It will be lovely. For best results, follow the written recipe here, www.biggerbolderbaking.com/cinnabon-cinnamon-rolls-recipe/
Just made these. Turned out fine but there isn’t enough cinnamon in the filling mix. Should it be table spoons instead of teaspoons?
Hi Denise. You can get the measurements in the written recipe here, www.biggerbolderbaking.com/cinnabon-cinnamon-rolls-recipe/ For best results, follow the written recipe. Hope this helps.
Damn this!! Hate, hate hate!! What do I do?? I'm the only one in the family who likes cinnamon. If I make these, who else will eat them? Damn! Damn! Damn!
Bake and freeze, Jim. These will be lovely fresh from the oven.
@@biggerbolderbaking No! No! No! That would require letting them cool down first. They'll NEVER last that long.... Oh - woe is me!!
Is there any way to make these the day before and bake the next morning? Ok to put in the refrigerator?
Hi Kathryn. You can chill after proofing the first time. Just gently pat the air out of the dough, form into a ball, cover and chill. You can roll, fill and shape these into rolls the following day. Proof a second time. Once risen, you can pop these into the oven and bake. I hope this helps.
@@biggerbolderbaking it does. Thank you.
