7 YEARS AND IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!
I love the idea of making a fictional 80s game console, then building a whole library of 50 games for it. Like some sort of alternative universe "Atari 50" or "Namco Museum". I remember hearing about this game years ago, and I'm glad to see it's finally out. The UFO has landed!
I didn't expect them to all be like fully fleshed out games

Brings me memories of my parents coming home with a bootleg Gameboy "51 games in 1" cartridge, except all the game are actually good.

I remember NES cartridges that had like a 1000 games. There were like 10 different versions some games with slight variations to pad up the numbers.
They never shipped this console to my country back in the 90s, so I'm glad I can play it on PC now.

We only got Campanella 3, but they localised it as just Campanella, and it made *no sense*
That's right, Campanella on the west was actually the japanese Campanella 3
@@baptistejanin9615 That's correct, but for some reason they removed the secret Level 3 entrance from it and you couldn't play the extra levels for some reason.

@@EarthwormShandy I have no control to “limit” which direction they want to take the game. I’m just shouting out a platform I would buy it on, so they can figure out how many are interested on what consoles.
Hell yeah was waiting for the release for so long. Already bought and played bunch of games. Feels like kid again when go to the new friend's house and play a ton of unfamiliar games.
It only took me until my third game I open to find some of this secrets this collection haas. I'm excited to discover more of them.

Thank you, Mossmouth! You all are amazing!!! I've been playing Velgress all morning. Downwell and Poinpy are two of my favorite games, and it's awesome playing another game that feels part of that family. And that's just 1 of 50!
Imagine if the people who made Action 52 actually knew how to make a video game. And then stop imagining, because it's become a reality. I hope to see console ports in the future.
I still haven't beaten either Spelunky game, and now I have 50 more games to deal with! You guys are insane in the best way.

It's been a while, but in the end UFO 50 came out before Half life 3.
Even more impressive than I'd hoped, incredible! I'm hoping that eventually this can get a physical release on Switch/PS5!

I can't remember the last time i was this excited for a video game release. honestly makes me feel like i'm 8 years old. It really captures the imagination! what a wonderful game!!! I like the game!!!! good game!!!! I've only played 3 of 50 so far but the sense of wonder is palpable. I plan to play them all in chronological order beating each one as i go.
Rad. I can't wait to start seeing some guides and walkthroughs for the turn-based RPGs. Heard this played well on the steam deck... I have also read it had issues with controls on the Deck. Looking forward to that platform initially, so I will wait a day or two for the small bugs to work out.

Action 52 worked out at 4 dollars per game roughly. This is 50 cents! Unfortunately I can't play it until it is on consoles but will definitely get if on ps4 or xbox one.

Genuinely looks great. I think I might just buy myself this one. Randomly though, I really wish I could play it on my SNES Mini. I just don't enjoy playing games on PC as much as I love doing so on my little SNES Mini with that kinda perfect authentic SNES controller and the simplicity and directness of it all.
