I have this theory that McSergey is programmer or enigneer of sort and he really just got into Cities Skylines very much, becuase he creates mods lightyears ahed of the modding community and does that years after game release.
Game changing.... I hope CO takes note and puts a similar tool into CS2 if they go that route. Simplifies building interchanges, simplifies building realistic looking grades and curves on the railways... simply amazing.
I don't think they need a CS2. They could just launch an expansion that rebuilds the game engine from the ground up and keep going with CS. This title has the same potential as an MMO honestly.
@@thedeadcannotdie Yeah thats what I was thinking.. sadly its impossible to convert CS into a different engine without breaking basically all custom content ever made for the game. If we get CS2 then we still get to keep all of the stuff in CS and we dont lose it
Omg this mod is so amazing, this has to be on the main game in the sequel someday, also if I could suggest the creator a idea, is to make something just like in Transport Fever 2, after you make all the curves roads, if you try to make a double one it automatically makes it for you following the first one, so that way it's going to be eazy to make highways, who made this mod is a genius!!!
Breaking news: Oil tanker train derails spilling 340,000,000L of crude oil into the city. It has been found that the initial curve into the yard where the incident took place actually had a radius of 149m, 1m less than documented. The deranged engineer responsible is currently being apprehended by authorities.
My dad is a civil engineer and specializes in highway design and structures. He says this was the type of thing he used to dream of when he was in university and making designs of his own lol
Combining this with blocks of multiple buildings with RICO means you can build massive cities without reaching the in game limits. Although you do need a NASA computer after a certain point.
Perfect timing, just what i need ! Just buy Skylines Deluxe Edition. Played it 1 day and already see that there is a lot more to know. Already know a lot more thnx to you very well explained with examples usefull ! Still bit confused about well there is the game, different game modes to buy extra right. And then mods (for free). And then items for the flora fauna? And i understand to select all note need hold shift. Also see Biffer yesterday on his steam hold shift and go with mouse over it to select long road, to have all note in a sweep with mouse if i spell well.
Man, I wish AutoCAD Civil 3D was as easy to work with as this. I tinkered with it for a while since we have access to it through the university, but without proper guidance it's a real pain to work with.
Thank you Akruas for this VERY helpful video. Maybe I am being picky but the over use of Super gets on my nerves. Why is everyone replacing very with super.
Does it work with bridges and tunnels as well, or a piece of road/rail that’s transitioning into a bridge/tunnel? It would be cool if this could be made to also draw a parallel road at the same time; that would truly make highway construction so fast it would be ridiculous.
Not sure about the first question, probably just some settings in the UUI mod, also it got updated so this might be how it looked before. The toolbar is made bigger with the Resize It mod.
Thanks! But when you enable new multitool what will happen to the slopes previously edited with the elektrik mod? Will I lose the settings or will they be kept and inherited by the new mod?

so bloody penguin has now a rival as the top cities skylines mod creator...
i mean mod creator, not asset creator..
@@luckyrelic or a worthy partner 😉😁 imagine what they could do with their powers combined!
My theory is that he was part of the team for CS2, and the paradox canceled it... so he is dumping the upgrades as mods....

It'd be better if it's a built-in feature for CS2 instead of having it to be a mod
You can really hear how Akuras enjoys making that railyard
You can make really good looking interchanges in a few minutes now (then spend like another hour with node controller and IMT)
That's the plan

Parallel road tool is a lifesaver when it comes to making multi-lane highways, but I certainly agree
"No one reads this anyway"
Or do they...
Lmao
bla bla bla
Akruas is like a kid at christmas with this tool. It's so powerful!
Amazing! Yet another game-changing mod
😱 I love it!!! This will make everything soooo much easier...especially with TRANSITION CURVES!!! 😍
When I first saw the mod I was excited. After watching this and seeing what can be done I'm like a child in a candy store.
With newest version, you can create parallel roads/tracks/paths/etc. So the railroad yard in the video can be quickly created.
FINALLY SOMEONE SHOWED HOW TO MAKE LOOP GO OTHER DIRECTION. Thanks man, i almost thought loop button was useless

Holy crap, I don't want to know how much time I would have saved having this mod before. Incredible, big props to the creator.

Does he play Cities? If he doesn’t he should… get him a UA-cam channel! We need more knowledge! 😂
@@TemptressTeelia nah he's too old to be playing games (atleast that's what he says)
@@LonelyRacoon there’s no such thing as too old for games. There’s a grandma out here that plays GTA, like proper granny.

Wonderful video. I was just staring into the abyss over my railyard and this video was recommended to me. Evil or not, thank you UA-cam.
Rail junctions are just so difficult to built in vanilla game, this kind of junction for parallel rails is a must have
I love this mod so much
It is awesome MOD, this is exactly what we need in Transport Fever 2.

Haha, yes, Civil was a bit painful to work with. Not sure about the pipes, but then again, do you really need neat pipe curves?
Revolutionary
Must have non doubt!

I think the S connection one u can add new radii ?

Works with anything, best used with other stuff of course, like Fine Road Tools.
Thank you so very much!!!
VERY USEFUL
Damn game changing mod
This is mind-blowing!
how are some of these mods base game features? if one person can create an entire mod by themselves then surely paradox could implement it.
I know this video is old, but what hot-keys are you using to move the quay like you did at 20:39? It would be super helpful for me.

Just click the last node of the road and it will select all nodes in between
It didn't then.
Finally perfect rounds 😍
and it works between different types, for example between a road and rail, or a road and pedestrian paths?
Yes
i have 2 questions at the video timeline 3:53
1) I installed the Network Multitool 2.1
Not sure about the first question, probably just some settings in the UUI mod, also it got updated so this might be how it looked before. The toolbar is made bigger with the Resize It mod.
Wow, it is awesome
I really hope my 3D CGI app like this mod....
Thanks!
But when you enable new multitool what will happen to the slopes previously edited with the elektrik mod?
Will I lose the settings or will they be kept and inherited by the new mod?
Nothing happens when you unsub elektrix's road tools.
how do you intersect the roads without an error
What do call to that tool beside the demolish tool?
Meanwhile this thing has like twice as many tools as it did it first; wonder how many it's gonna end up with 🤔
20:40 How did you move the node inside its segment? When I try to move nodes they always go crazy
There need to be at least two straight segments, so Move It can snap to the helping line. You then just hold alt and move.
@@Akruas thankyuuu
Having over 2 years of experience working with Civil 3d seeing curves done so easily in the game gives me mixed feelings.
revolution!!!
Does this tool work underground/as a tunnel?
Yes, even when connecting from surface to tunnel.
Very very very useful mod. This modder is a genius! 👍🏻

"Curves on the roght places"... okay :)
So what is the 6th tool doing?
OMG
the single loop stopped working

Anybody else getting a weird green screen when watching this?
the city name is "No One Reads This Anyway" I Do
I found this mod useless, can't make sloped ramps on highway interchanges.
