This is the best and most efficient cage I believe I've ever seen. I buy all of my quail from you guys and have excellent hatch rates as well. If you guys EVER start building and selling these, please let me know. I will gladly drive the 11 hours there and buy one!!!
That's all nice and great for a big boys game. Me, as a small breeder preffer to keep my birds on a wood chipping and barley straw mix bedding. Its seems to be more comfy and suitable for quails. Eggs are clean just i need to pick them up from inside the cage plus i must replace bedding every 10 days. Btw, i learn a lot from you guys. Regards from Polish guy living in UK 🇵🇱 🇬🇧
@@MyshireFarm that's right. As long i dont have too many birds its not take long time for clean my cage. I wouldnt do that if I had 6k birds as you. My biggest problem is hatching rate causing by humidity. Watching your video's helped me to find it out. Many thx from me for posting that so i can improve my knowledge and hopefully my hatching rate will rise soon. Regards
Love the video. Papa you are a man among men. What a blessing you are to your family. I truly hope you are passing all your knowledge and skills to all your family, every young man or lady would be blessed for life to know what you know.
So, I live in Florida and it stays a million degrees all year round. I just started my quail journey, and right now I have 20 juveniles in a 3 tier plastic hatching time enclosure that’s ok, but its kind of jail cellish to me. My question is would they be ok to build a cage outside under a bunch of shade or in my sunroom that gets a little stuffy too but has a fan and optional AC.
I bought 75 quail hatching eggs from these guys and they are the healthiest quail I have hatched. Hatch rate was around 80% and no deaths after hatching which is rare. Not one died! I was also thrilled to death because I had only bought 2 varieties and they sent me 15 extra eggs and those were of different varieties. I probably have 8 different varieties and they were free. They are gorgeous quail. Would highly recommend.
Thx for all you do to help ppl raise quail! Lumber is so expensive & I have trbl finding non warped pieces. Chk out Tropiquail's video to use a $10 queen box spring as a super cool quail cage.
Hello zack and papa great video. How much would you charge to make the frame for the egg roller. i don't have the saw to make the cuts. I can do the wire and the rest of the frame. Thanks for your time and help.
Maybe you can take the idea and adapt to the tools you have. For instance; if you can’t cut the grooves for the wire to go in, use quarter round on each side of the wire.

Thanks for watching
Awesome thank y’all for teaching all who love raising quails ! I raise quail and also German Beauty Homer pigeons
That is awesome!
Came to see the quail cage. Subbed for the greenhouse! :D
Thanks for watching
I see the tongue rolling around papa. I’ve inherited the same gene when dialed in on a build. 😂
Absolutely hahahaha
I wish you guys sold kits of pre-cut pieces. I do not have to room or tools to build this, but it's the most impressive cage I've seen.
Excellent use of space
Thank you
Not FAIR. i come inside from building a new cage and NOW you upload a video of it xD
Great Vlog. I love it.
Do you have an equipment listing or part list for the cages? I would be curious as to what and how much of each item is to build the cages.
I'm watching this just for the carpentry lessons. Lol.
This shop is great! Is there a video on just the shop?
Not yet!

The sunroom or a cage under a tree would work great for them

That is a great success story. CONGRATS!!!!!!
Digging the video and I get the ABS plastic but how is it cleaned?
We squeegee it off
What wood do you use for the walls? Pine, oak, cedar?
Whatever is the cheapest
@@MyshireFarm thank you. Created our design heavily based on yours. Building starts Tomorrow morning. Thank you for sharing all you do!!!
how is the waste managed? i saw the board under each layer but it looks fixed.
It goes in between the boards
Wasted material that holds that board, looking strong and don't need to be so strong.
Looking for the link to the j-feeder plans that you mentioned, but couldn't find them ... any chance you could direct me to the link?

What kind if wood are you using?
Just construction lumber
Thank you thank you thank you
Zack learning to build things like Popa?
It's amazing what you can build when you have unlimited tool supply
Long time acquiring the tools
What kind of wood?
You could use pressure treated as well but construction is cheaper
Do you have any templates of this cage so I ca build it
We don’t I am sorry.
@@MyshireFarm ok
First
only because I watch the whole thing before commenting. LOL
Will you be making quail cages for the public and how much
No, he only does it for Myshire, his farm.
Volume volume volume! Great job guys...just wish I could hear it.
wish they had used simple tools, I don't have a workshop to do the cutting like that, I have to use home depot.. :(

Nice cage but far too complex a build for what I am looking for.
I get it. It is not for everyone but thanks for watching
Maybe you can take some ideas from this build and simplify
Papa sounds like TRUMP haha good work
Playing the video, all audio with a green screen
Can’t hear a fn thing
I’m sorry about that. This is as an older video and have resolved the issue since then.
