Noticed a lot of people saying they are at 100% packet loss across the board. This can be due to polling too fast. You might be overloading your router essentially ddosing yourself. Raise the ping interval up a step in pingplotter and see if that helps. Alternatively if you ddos yourself at 1s or higher then your router is trash and you should consider replacing it.
fixitfixitfixit I’ve actually replaced my router to a new netgear router but I am still having the same issue. I also tried my isp modem router which was crap. FilipQQQo bro do not trust any ISPs with your money. Tell them you need a demo before you get their connection. And in no circumstance EVER pay the money first. If they come to your terms only then agree!
FilipQQQo packet loss is mainly because these ISPs provide more connection to people than the server can bear. That’s the reason you get packet loss at certain time and during other times you don’t

same... nobody's saying shit about this
thats why I downvoted
he should have reviewed all the scenarios
I have in all of them except the first one :(
What the hell is going on. Basically it shows the first line with no PL then the next 8 lines are blank but with 100% PL and then the 10th line is displayed right with no PL. Plus my graph on the right side is just a straight diagonal going down with no curves. I dont understand what's going on. PLEASE HELP
@@jonasofg6290 Same, did you fix the problem?
@@meltz8497 Aye, i just changed operator. Problem solved
Great vid! Very informative! Great personality
Bro, you are amazing… thank you so much for this great video
what if pingplotter shows me that every number has packet loss?
that's happening to me right now too, was working perfectly fine yesterday
I have packet loss in every section
Should I just throw my router away? 😭
But my computer isn’t that good so could that be messing up something?
Same dude
Throw ur router away, its the only solution rn. I did it myself
I'm getting massive packet loss at hop 4 through rest of the hops. I sent screenshots to ISP and they say that it isn't their issue. (Very small provider) Is there anything else I can do?
Great video! Very informative.
My latency is 706 ms lmao
Edit: 1760 ms
@@snoopybtw566 A common fix is to disable IPv6 in ur internet adapters properties

wrong ip
Francis M thank you so much😅
Nick did u fix it I have same problem on pc?
what if it says, "request timed out"?
That means that your ping is so high that it causes packet loss, which is bad
so on command prompt i am getting a request error every so often and for pingplotter i have packet loss on every website i check at the end of the chain what do i do with this how to i get rid of it
Sorry if you said it in the video but I didn't quite hear anything about 5 through 12? I am having a constant 70-100 packet loss for numbers 5 6 7.

@@frezzy8315 any updates? what did you do to fix the 100%?
@@miloplay1062 i have still 100% packet loss :/ for 1 month
hey man, can I ask you something regarding my results? they literally ignored me on their support forum
pinging google's dns on pingplotter shows 98% pl first hop, all other hops 0.5pl, so it's me, either my ethernet connector (motherboard) or the router?
Tanks so much, I understood everything you said in detail. Sadly I have 3rd problem but im switching my isp this month so not a big problem. Thanks so much again!
Milan Jovanovic Milan, did switching your IP resolve your issue? We have Frontier but also have Spectrum in our area. Does this really resolve issues?
Loreal L. Indeed. It did fix my problem if your packet loss test is bad try switching isp it wont hurt much
Milan Jovanovic thanks a lot. Appreciate the fast response.😃
Loreal L. Always friend 😁

if you are getting packet loss even on the first jump that usually means its local. Your home. Could be router, modem, network wire......
everything apart from the first two has packet loss
same.
did you find a fix?
Cride no
Hey I was wondering if there was any way I could contact you and ask questions about packet loss mine looks a little different then what yours showed and I had a few questions about it.
I have alot of packetloss in 4-10.. numbers from 1.5-5 so is there nothing i can do about this? when pinging the google server i have like 5-9% packet loss witch makes it unplayable... Is this the internet providers side or is it higher step up in the chain and is it fixable?
i have packet loss in every row !!!
@deluxe Otaku and me
I literally have packet loss on every one.
same😞😞
i’m not sure if you still look back at the comments but when i go to cmd prompt i don’t get all the information i just get time=ms and the rest doesn’t show up like the bytes and the TTL
when my brother (or family) watches youtube, i get 300- 600 ping and my character is gltiching / lagging back. is there a solution to this problem. I am ethernet cable connection. u can ask me more questions about my connection and stuff. my normal ping is about 30-60
You can limit their bandwidth on your router, or prioritize gaming traffic

What video did u follow? And whats ur packet loss? I found an app for my packet loss after i install it my packet loss was 0 i restarted my pc my packet loss was 100 and 900 ping
Time: 19ms
Good enough.
I'm having few packets drop issue on a enterprise network and can't use the app you mentioned to check the packet loss at a particular hop. Due to security concerns. Is there any other way to check the packet loss at a particular hop.
i'm confused, here in australia we have the "pit" in the street, or the "exchange" a few or more kilometres away. so which of these is the exchange! number three?
I noticed it doesnt show packet loss with an interval of 5s, but with 1s is starts to show on 6 different connections after a while and starts growing in percentage progressively form 40 to 100, and after another while it starts to show on the 2 and 3.
Ive seen @fixitfixitfixit say its because Iñm overloading my router and it can't keep up, and my main problem is on live calls/virtual classes, streams and games, so that means I should replace my router?
So what if I’m getting the second one, third one, sixth one, 7th one, and 8th one? And getting it spiked to 1011 ms
Very insightful video, thankyou
really sorry to bother you but what do I do if everything but the first two have packetloss???
