Take this video down. Worthless information on all of the "methods" of that video. DNS can NOT affect ping. For Tekken 7 players my advice is to port forward and avoid WiFi connections that are not super stable. You may also call your provider and ask for help because in some cases depending the country/area you are, Steam and other similar online services are being blocked or restricted.
I do like Tekken 7 and that is why I bother taking the time to comment here.

2023 and it still works, this is actually so goated. I use to average about 60-40 ping now im averaging 30-20, not a big difference but it still lowered my ping by a decent amount, W video

I have no idea if you're still going to respond to this, but I'm currently using window 11, the same setup is the same as you ( mostly ) and I precisely followed all the steps you mentioned, and immediately hop on roblox to test my ping, the ping used to be 500~ish and it's still the same after doing all of your instructions, any solutions?

Hey. Your video helped me a lot but I have a question that when I go to wireless mode it shows me different settings that are IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11a/n, a/n/ac, b, b/g and b/g/n. Which one I should opt for? (The former part remains the same after first three modes)

You go over device manager for network adapter at the end as if it applies to wired and wireless, but then you just go over wireless settings, should wired users ignore the last part?

The last step when you go into device manager looks different when you choose the option for ethernet cable connection. None of the options shown in the video were there. Does this matter?

Poe used to run between 200-300 ms in my new place, and it used to spike like alllll the time beyond that; I was seriously losing hope after many hours of trying different things.
Using this single video I got it to go below 100ms and it never spiked once after that… I seriously can’t thank you enough for this guide, I feel human again ))

When I restarted my computer, I noticed some differences. When I enter in my PIN, it loads in instantly, and Microsoft Edge opens instantly. (yes i do use Microsoft edge).

I am having 100 mbps n/w, runs evrything smoothly but when it comes to Cs1.6 or else gaming it gives 70-80 ping. Will this guidance help to reduce that ping too?

I have the same problem, just change what’s available. You may not experience as much change in ping, but there will be a difference. 👍
I followed everything up until I went into "Network Adapters" Advanced... I only had about 6 options instead of what was showing on yours... I dont know what to do, this is becoming hopeless :(

When I try to change the IP address thing it says that it's not a valid IP address, and also when I try to follow the steps near the end in the properties and advanced settings, nothing that is on your screen shows up on mine

nice video,my ping is around 46ms but it keep randomly jump to 400 and very bad packet loss but after i watched your video and fixed,my ping is much more stable now but sometimes still have packet loss,not regular like before.Overall it's very good👍

Check for windows updates, make sure you have driver packages enabled in the update settings
