Dr Genus is actually one of the smartest beings in this verse and he is relevant, he was atleast smart enough to understand and accept the absurdity and anomalies the universe has to offer (AKA Saitama)😂
Thanks for pointing this out!
It may not seem like there is a story line but this show is actually really good with its messaging when they are done doing the world building. There are so many good characters and heroes to come. Even the villains get awesome.
So I’ve been hearing! Excited to get to the rest of the show
Everyone forgets that Saitama doesn't have a butler or a job that nets him money, and with funds only enough to buy some eggs and failed exact change crab purchase (1st episode), this man has to always think what his next meal will be.
After all, both his hobby and even fighting Kubuto doesn't put food on the table.
If our hero doesn't go to the supermarket to buy cheaper food with the limited funds he has during that gigantic sale, who will do it and how will he eat??!?!
This had me cackling LMFAO but so true - now I get why the supermarket deal was so important to him 😂😂
The secret to Saitama's power is definitely deeper than his physical training. There's a couple of key points of dialogue that hint at it. I think they will be diving deeper into it during season 3.
They actually explain it in the trailer for season 3, which is surprising.
oh that's awesome - we're excited to discover what it is! I knew there had to be something else to it 😂
@@tobototoki saitama broke his limiter
@@noahzachariastrue, when Saitama broke his limiter 2.5 years ago and that was the time when G** interrupted Blast when he fought elder centipede.
It's also said that G** became more attracted to earth or someone keeps summoning and it's because of Saitama removing his limiter.
G** created the limiter. Saitama broke it and his fist is the ABOMINABLE FIST THAT TURNED AGAINST ***.
Seems like extra effort on editing went in this one. Like the CSM blooper and then at 1:17 all these typed out questions along with chibi animations. Appreciate all of that!
0:53 At first, I thought the edit was about the [Oppai (.)(.)] sweatshirt lol.
Genos is really strong but the powerscaling is such that they usually have to hype up villains enough for Saitama to take them on. Poor guy.
Keep up the good work!
Thank you we so appreciate that! We're definitely trying out a different style so glad to hear you like it! Please feel free to provide any and all feedback as we continue to test out some editing styles!
As always awesome video guys but one Important note for y'all 📝 : the training that Saitama was going through was actually pretty much doable but here's the catch. Try to imagine a person who's limit is very low, for example if a person can do only 10 pushups but manages to do 100 pushups somehow and still musters up the energy to do every single day........ With that kind of pain most people simply give or take rests in between, but Saitama is literally built different not only that, during his traning he also defeated many monsters and at that period of time, he did shed a lot of blood, broke bones during the fights. Saitama by pushing himself continously to his absolute limits repeatedly......... Made him broke his limiter. Now limiter is a kind of barrier that is placed by the one punch man character named GOD(Final boss villain of one punch man verse) that restricts any being to grow within certain parameters and stops them from going beyond one point. I'll highly recommend you guys to watch the trailer of opm season 3 and read one punch manga for better clarity. And infact I'll not hesitate to say that Saitama can actually solo the whole manga verse, in fact the whole of the reality....... Since he already demolished his limiter, can freely adjust his power upto any scale, casually breaks the laws of physics and has infinite strength, endurance, potential and immeasurable speed. Last but not the least, even after being so strong, he never abondoned humanity and in fact is pure of heart, that's what makes him a truly deserving superhero. 😌
s1 - Funny, entertaining
s2 - suspense, violence
Spoilers
S3 - The rise of the S-class heroes
@@NoodleSauceSpicy rise? More like fall of heroes since monster garou will hunt down most of them all
@@_hunterz_
S4 probably
S3 will have 12 eps, it's obvious it'll end with baldy vs worm king
I don't expect j.c staff to animate to Mappa x ufotable type of details.
"Bu....but...But Ken Aoki has been posting animation reaching chapter 162" yeah, about that... He's been doing those as a fan animation and not an actual animation used by j.c staff.
@@NoodleSauceSpicyyeah, if they even animate Tats vs Giant hot lady x Worm king it'll be horrible and the over use of CG will make it worse.
@@_hunterz_Did you know that Garou didn't beat all the S-class heroes? He only defeated Flashy flash and Bang in the Monster Association Arc and the rest of the S-class heroes reached their limits and got beat up by the cadres.
in the whole universe people get what they really want to, remember the crab man who was obsessed with crabs? he became one. so saitama was obsessed with being the strongest and he simply became the strongest.
Can’t forget crab man with those underpants 😂
1. Where is the story going?
Main storyline starts at S2 all the way to the latest manga chapter
2. How he becomes who he is?
It's in this eps and explored with the Bonus Manga Chapters and it'll be explained in S3 eps 2 or 3
3. WTF IS THIS WORLD?
it's a crazy world where Monsters, ninjas, aliens, cyborgs, superhumans exist.
There are also Genius people who does experiments and evil organization creating mutants and monsters (some S-class heroes are created by those organizations)
....No matter how much powerful these beings grow THEY WILL ALWAYS GET BOUND BY THEIR LIMITS
Being watched and Restricted by ***
All of that for one guy with an ordinary birth, an ordinary life, no special potential whatsoever, just an ordinary person.
Through effort alone, he pried open the door of his limits and broke his LIMITER.
HE WHO HAS EVOLVED HIMSELF BEYOND THE LIMITER HAS POWER BEYOND COMMON SENSE....
And that would be Saitama.
When he broke/removed his limiter, he is no longer bound by pysical/dimensional limits, he will grow limitlessly achieving Boundless power.
I believe "Being watched and Restricted by *"
Is..... it'll be revealed in S3
I can't wait!😆
thank you for al this context - it's super helpful!
The training would be literally impossible for a normal person
except david goggins haha
*For an average guy
Most athletes does that training but they can't do it everyday especially the 10km run, I've seen people die just trying to run a 5km run.
Near not impossible
It's funny how people underestimate the "standard" training regiment Saitama had. Other animes that show training regiment with 10000+ reps of any training is just.. extra exaggerated
@@jamilgonzaga7081 exaggerated training and still weak😭
I love the two OST used in this episode for Dr. Genus. They are so mysteriuos, with a pinch of malice. Marvellous! I hear them sometimes.
the OSTs so far are great!
We're just scratching the surface; you both will learn more at a deeper level
ah we're excited for that!
when his body says one more push up and I will die then he starts to count same goes for sits up and 10km run so I think its about pushing limit no one can became strong like that
yea that makes sense
Season 1 is an introduction of us to the world and its characters and of saitamas struggles, both with his strength and boredom and with getting established and recognized as a legitimate hero in his world.
Did u watch the after credit scenes? Nearly every episode has one. And a funny spoiler-free episode preview too. If ur done with season 1, u can also watch the OVAs of season 1. There are 6 of them. OVA 0 "Road to hero", 1 ( The shadow that snuck on too close) and two u can watch already without spoiling anything... they are timed like in-between episodes. OVA 6 is timed after the finale.
we did! We just didn't realize that there were scenes until episode 6😅 so we went back and watched them all. We'll make sure to include those onward after ep 6!
We'll definitely check out the OVAs too!
Not really a spoiler because the bonus chapter of the manga will never be animated but the training wasn't the only thing that contributed to his immense strength, before he became so strong he would constantly fight monsters which lead him to a lot of near death experiences and that made him what he is, Saitama isn't special in any way as a person, he has no powers and he is just an ordinary guy with a lot of dedication to surpass his limits.
Exactly
How he became strong is training. By training, is train to the death and still keep going. That how irl is but except we're not like anime. A man can train to do 10,000 different fights, will not be as strong as a man that use the same technique 10,000 times.
Episode 4 = Rainbow punch👊
👊
Him saying there is no story is close to what I thought at first, but when u get to episode 12 and season 2 u realize like yo, the story is getting crazier trust me season 3 is the best arc of this.
I’m glad you say that cus I am READY for it
without spoiling too much .. just about Everyone has potential to be that strong and powerful as saitama.. Saitama found the key to unlock it ..
👀
las escenas post créditos no son avances, son parte del episodio
Gracias por hacernos saber! Los vimos más tarde y no nos dimos cuenta hasta el episodio 6 de que había más. Nos aseguraremos de incluirlos en la reacción después del episodio 6
ty for the review
we're loving it so far!
Thought, if it was revealed that saitama was only strong because of his parents or some magic item, it would ruin the whole show, in my opinion. Saitama isn't just a nepo baby like naruto or ichigo or goku lolz
Yup, the entire point of Saitama is that he is just a guy: his parents are not special (we don't even know who his parents are even lol), he was not born rich, he was not born with some genetic advantage, nothing.
Tbh, as stupid as it seems and it actually is..I wish you guys took it a bit more seriously, there are themes and nuances behind the absurdity, 😂, like Dr's Backstory and final acceptance actually has meaning.
That’s a fair point! Appreciate your feedback, I’m amazed by peoples’ in-depth views into the messages of the show that may be hard to see in the moment. Will try to keep a more open mind!
