3:23 Silverfang is showing his fighting style called the “Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist” is a technique that focuses on evading and moving fluently afterwards retaliates with brutal counters and precise accuracy strikes that allows the body to move autonomously during crisis on it’s own. Because this style is focusing on deflecting and redirecting his opponents attack that is twice their own strength with double the force.
To Clarify: Tank Top Tiger is Class C, in the top ten, and got pissed because he was first detonated by the ninja and then saitama got credit and now saitama outranks him. So he asked his big tank top brother, that is already in class B, to help for punishing saitama.
How to describe this show.... it's both a parody and a love story to anime in general.
As you noted early on it's not an overpowered villain that the hero must rise up. It's inverted. It teases the frequent tropes in anime (funny too long back stories, hidden ninja villages, cyborgs etc.) but at the same time it praises those same things.
It's self-aware of that dichotomy and yet it's still it's own things.
It's just a fun well animated ride that playfully bounces between serious and fun. Don't question it too much, just enjoy the ride!

One, the author, said basically OPM is a typical shone story most readers are used to but he wanted to answer what happens after.
17:09 If i estimate it correctly, the meteor had around 30 meters width and 80-100 meters length. Thats nasty, but nothing fatal for half of earth, it might be as powerful as the mysterious siberian Tunguska meteor explosion/impact from 1908, it has a similar estimated size. Google it, its a crazy happening, and most people forgot it happened because there were close to no casaulties because of the location siberia, but the size would have wiped out paris or london completely if it detonated over there...

Fun fact from reading the special content from manga (spoiler alert if u plan to read it) : "Baldie" was Saitamas favourite insult before his hero time when he still had hair... old patterns die hard, even if Karma is a bitch and turns urself in a Baldy. So this scene was super funny. XD
Nice reaction but you didn't let genos part of him telling saitama about him being the most amazing person ever and saitama kinda of saying genos was creeping him out , it would have be nice if you show that part cos it's very a powerful scene with an excellent music score ,it really show how much of a good and understanding both genos and saitama are.

The Earth in OPM is different to ours. All of the “Cities” are actually more like countries and they all reside on a supercontinent.
The meteor came out of nowhere on very short notice and Bang and Genos are the only S-Class heroes who live in Z City.
Other S-Class heroes didn’t come because they were too far; already preoccupied with their own things; or just simply figured they couldn’t deal with it like Bang said.
Referencing Kafka to OPM is refreshing, when real nerds reference OPM to Kafka every time he one punches. Especially that bomb punch, when it was exactly this ep of OPM happened half decade earlier.

Also hero ranking is sometimes based on how active they are doing their hero stuff, That's why Bang/silver fang is on a higher Rank than Metal Knight....metal knight with his weapons and robots could rule the whole world and invade other planets 😆
By now you've probably finished the season and seen more of the flaws in the Hero Association, but they definitely show the downsides to ranking systems that introduce classism and focus on popularity

Tanktop Tiger was at rank 6 of class C and was just overtaken by Saitama. He had called his big brother Tanktop Black Hole who was a low ranked B class hero. There is a shitload of Tanktop heroes. The leader is Tanktop Master, an S class hero. He's also the only one who isn't arrogant and rude, so there's that.
The Tanktop gang is kind of hilarious 😂
The rankings in OPM arent all based on strength, the s class are spmehqat an exception because they can solo demon levels but even their inner rankings arent all based on just power alone. Its basically a combination of facotrs like what monster level they killed or how many they kill, how much they contribute and also fame. Bang is a noteworthy martial artists int he OPM world so part of his high ranking is that. Metal knight takes more a support role and actually supplies a lot of the hero association especially some of its infrastructure but hes barley in meetings in person and usually isnt around a lot.
Just a personal thing but I almost never talk on the phone in front of another person unless I know call is over in a sentence or two.
