It says Ghost of Tsushima is unsupported for Deck on Steam, but you can play it there. I'm a bit confused, i'm new to Steam Deck, got mine 2 days ago. Will it really work if i purchase it?
Yes the single player works fine. The multiplayer won't work though due to Sony preventing it working on Linux. Single player works beautifully though and won't ever be blocked.
Bro, how did you play Genshin Impact and Zenless Zone Zero on Steam Deck? Is it really playable and what do I need to play it on Deck? I’d be really happy to know 😊
Bro I just got Genshin Impact and when I log in it says I cannot connect and I’ve deleted and re installed 3 times already… I definitely need to know how to get this game working!!!
We can use a very simple to install NOVR Mod to play the game like a traditional FPS. Please check out my Full video here for an in depth look - ua-cam.com/video/yWkzgTyFSsM/v-deo.html
I use my steam deck for smaller titles when I go to bed or travel Stardew Valley Corpse party Vampire survivors My monster pc takes care of the heavy lifting
OLED is the Black Steam Deck, LCD is White. The difference in performance is negligible, the main differences are the WiFi Speed, Battery and ofc the screen.
Yes we ideallt need to use FSR 2 Ultra Performance and everything on lowest, check out my full videos on the channel by searching "Jedi Survivor Deck Wizard" into UA-cam 😊
We should be able to run Space Marine 2 at/close to 30FPS as long as the game includes upscaling such as FSR/XeSS for release and we compromise our settings to Low/Medium ❤
this would also mean Saints Row 2 with current fan mods should also be hopefully at least 60fps is if possible 90fps... so far I have played SR2 twice and the reason for that is due to performance (since a bunch of mods have slimmed to none killed the crashing) and that's another game i've seen in video that my gaming laptop can mostly reach 45 fps at 720p or 1080p regardless of graphical settings
@@dxvlxn I think it's proton... I am stuck in between The Legion Go, Asus Ally, or a Steam deck has a tech core upgrade (the best possible choice would be Legion since I hear from some that it can handle very demanding PS3 games in RPCS3, while the lowest cost solution is a Steam deck but then I loose out of PS3 emulation to have OTG (basically away from my setup). for some reason my gaming laptop just HAS ISSUES trying to reach 60fps (if I don't restart and make sure barely ANYTHING demanding somehow would be in the background and set the EXE to REAL TIME) and idk why I got latest possible driver for the dgpu (1660 TI Max q) also I use DXVK with the SR2 juiced mod
You really shouldn't abe using frame gen on these games, the latency makes the game unplayable and it skews the results so that steam deck looks better than it actually is.
what you guys recommend a laptop os a steam deck, I already have a macbook so i just need something to play i got nintendo but the games looks like for kids.
I will never recommend a laptop or steam deck as first option for gaming. For me I will say, get a gaming pc or console before getting a steam deck. As for the laptop, since you already have a mac, why not get a dedicated gaming device instead.
@@OBINNAASUZU what? the steam deck is designed to be as user friendly as possible as a handheld pc. its even more user friendly than a gaming pc which you reccomended over it. unless you are playing the absolute highest end aaa games itll have zero issues (even then, most games have low settings which can be toggled)
Black is OLED, White is LCD, the performance difference is minimal between both. Yes mods can be installed on the Steam Deck, make sure to subscribe to the Channel and check out my other videos!
I kept getting told that Alan Wake 2 and Jedi Survivor basically run like complete crap and are unplayable performance wise on here. Kind of looking like that may not be the case.
@@geetargeniusDoubt it. Unless the game is completely uncompatible with linux. Windows has bloatware and such slowing it down, and isnt optimised for the steamdeck like steamOS is. The difference is negligible, but overall steamOS performs better.
it’s a bit more powerful compared to the steam deck. for example games like dragon’s dogma 2 somewhat hold 30 fps on it so if you’re planning to play a lot of triple A games, that would make sense but i’d just say go for the new ally if you want it for triple a games only.
@sovietninja6865 I already have the Legion GO, I'm just curious how some games will perform on it. So far I've been shocked how well some games perform but it baffles me how some games on this list are around 40fps but the Ghost of Tsushima is like at the 100's.
The difference is negligible. The only real reason to get the legion go over the steam deck is the bigger screen, and if you want the best tablet. The payoff in price and battery just isnt worth 10% extra performance
Have you tried Proton Experimental and is the game installed to your internal drive? Check out my full video here - ua-cam.com/video/4qWp7mrwrm4/v-deo.html
No need, honestly. On an 8~ inch display all you really need is 1080p. The lenovo legion go has 1600p on an 8.8 inch display (basically 400p off from 4k) and thats kinda the max resolution you need for a handheld. A better investment for the screen is OLED, which is noticably better than LCD or IPS.
Should I get Legion Go or Steam Oled ?!?! I love the Lenovo's screen and I know playing RPG's like The Witcher 3 and The Ghost of Tsushima would look amazing ... but I also want the simplicity of the Steam software ... I'm not an FPS guy so not really bothered about the controller attachments ... but I know the Legion Go is slightly more powerful with a better screen ... but the Windows software is putting me off. I don't wanna deal with pop up messages and confusing installation process headaches every week 😩 someone helppppp !
My personal preference would be Steam Deck Oled as its much simpler to use (no windows bs) has much better battery life, good screen, portability, controls are pretty good, much cheaper than legion go
@@horticultural261 Absolutely! But the main point of handheld pc's is the optimization and a better battery life which Legion Go doesn't have. On the other hand. Steam Deck is highly optimised by valve which also provides a better battery life. Windows 11 have some major problems on handheld whether its optimization, battery life, etc. But hey. That's just my opinion..

is the performance different in the lcd version?
No they are the same, there's like 1 fps difference in games
OlED or LCD ?
This is the LCD you can tell because of the screen size and the thumb sticks dont have white on them
Where did you get Silent Hill 2 for Stea deck?

Rdr2 runs flawlessly on the deck
What about rdr online?

Did you need to tweak any settings to run Jedi survivor?
Yes we ideallt need to use FSR 2 Ultra Performance and everything on lowest, check out my full videos on the channel by searching "Jedi Survivor Deck Wizard" into UA-cam 😊
@@DeckWizard nice thank you!
How did you get Silent Hill 2 ? I can’t buy it anywhere
Silent Hill 2 Enhanced Edition, check out their official site for more info!
So what do we think the odds are this will run space marine 2?
We should be able to run Space Marine 2 at/close to 30FPS as long as the game includes upscaling such as FSR/XeSS for release and we compromise our settings to Low/Medium ❤
this would also mean Saints Row 2 with current fan mods should also be hopefully at least 60fps is if possible 90fps... so far I have played SR2 twice and the reason for that is due to performance (since a bunch of mods have slimmed to none killed the crashing) and that's another game i've seen in video that my gaming laptop can mostly reach 45 fps at 720p or 1080p regardless of graphical settings
I got saints row 2 on my steam deck lcd and it works fine with no mods, I don't know why but it just works on steam deck at 60 fps
You really shouldn't abe using frame gen on these games, the latency makes the game unplayable and it skews the results so that steam deck looks better than it actually is.
better than my pc

this is the LCD you can tell because of the screen size and thumb sticks not containing white

what you guys recommend a laptop os a steam deck, I already have a macbook so i just need something to play i got nintendo but the games looks like for kids.
Are those games listed above free to play?
No, you need to make an account on Steam and purchase them ❤️

windows would more than likely be worse for performance
@@monkandhiswisdom1205 i’ve heard for some games it can run better (not talking about the obvious anti cheat issue)
@@geetargeniusDoubt it. Unless the game is completely uncompatible with linux. Windows has bloatware and such slowing it down, and isnt optimised for the steamdeck like steamOS is. The difference is negligible, but overall steamOS performs better.

Can anyone tell me if the performance for any of these games differ greatly for the Legion GO? Or is performance fairly similar?
it’s a bit more powerful compared to the steam deck. for example games like dragon’s dogma 2 somewhat hold 30 fps on it so if you’re planning to play a lot of triple A games, that would make sense but i’d just say go for the new ally if you want it for triple a games only.
@@TarandeepSaini07 homie the new ally is $800.
They are pretty similar. Just get the steam deck unless you want to drop a fortune on the new rog. At that point you might as well get a gaming pc.
Forza horizon 4 it doesn't work on my sd oled , can anyone help ?
Have you tried Proton Experimental and is the game installed to your internal drive?

@@DeckWizard I'll try that , thanks for your quick reply
damn how awesome would a 4k handheld be , I can only imagine the difficult in engineering that and finding an apt way to dissipate the heat.

My personal preference would be Steam Deck Oled as its much simpler to use (no windows bs)
has much better battery life, good screen, portability, controls are pretty good, much cheaper than legion go
@@TheHeavyMetalDude666and legion go has much better performance
@@horticultural261 Absolutely!
But the main point of handheld pc's is the optimization and a better battery life which Legion Go doesn't have. On the other hand. Steam Deck is highly optimised by valve which also provides a better battery life.
Windows 11 have some major problems on handheld whether its optimization, battery life, etc.
But hey. That's just my opinion..
Legion go: Bigger screen, slightly better performance, can be a tablet.
Steam deck: OLED display, better egonomics, cheaper, battery 2x longer, easier navigation from steamOS.
