Rly good advice at 5:50. you don‘t need to know all the technical details on it. Some „beginners guides“ go in so deep that people get turned off. „Just turn the buttons until you like the sound“ is a fine advice. Many good songs were made by try and error
Man this piece of gear was so intimidating to me. But know that I just watched this video I would actually consider buying one. Sampling from the radio is so dope!!
Yes, built in speaker but sounds pretty tinny tbh, you can use the 3.5mm audio output to some headphones or a speaker though. I would connect it to a UE BOOM and jam out
@@itscrewston6684 thank you for clarifying!! I was worried about the price difference and have been wondering if I should buy new or old. Appreciate the answer thanks again :)
Where did you get those knobs?
Knob store
They came with it when I bought it but look for encoder knobs or chroma caps

Wow, I have not visited this video in over a year and it has 5.2k views. Never would I have thought I’d get over 300, thanks for watching!
Quite possibly the BEST and ONLY video tutorial of this device I could follow enough to convert me to a motivated buyer. Thank you!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed
i'd love to take me one of these to the 18th century and hook up with some musicians and create a magical album that will wow everyone beyond repair

This is the newest version of OP-1 right? So probably a massive difference from 1st edition?
Not at all, the difference is negligible. The new one just has a slightly better screen. That’s pretty much it
