My first-time use of a Minelab detector this past weekend turned out to be good outing with my new Elite. It was a coin-fest at the park. As a long-time user of Garrett gear, I find this Elite a great compliment to my arsenal. I'm happy with it. 😊
I expect this to be a huge seller for Minelab !! The competition in the value/feature realm is really benefitting us all as metal detecter consumers right now!
I totally agree with you there @Stack Silver the new Xterra Elite is well priced, looks fantastic and as you seen so far on video, works absolutely amazing👌 On our next hunt we test out a smaller 6" Coil over trashy ground and a site well worked to see what else it can do! Cheers heaps for watching🙂🤝⛏️
Just subbed to you, really enjoyed the video and my visit. Got my elite last week and out with it today, finds not to bad' Having just watched the video I now know what I was doing wrong. Thank you for such a great informitive watch. Happy Hunting my friend, All the way from South Wales UK. I will be back for more.
Thanks so much for watching @Patrick O'Donell what a beaut the new Minelab Xterra Elite is so far to use and show off on film mate! It certainly hits hard on those signals and hits deep too👌 Next hunt we test out running a smaller coil on the new Elite and at a super trashy old house site. One that has been worked plenty of times before....I can't wait to share, cheers heaps mate🙂🤝⛏️
I think you may be right there @Derek Thomassen the new Xterra Elite is a ripper machine and I am absolutely loving it so far mate. I reckon its going to be a game changer for anyone looking to start out detecting, or even upgrade for new look and feel👌 Cheers heaps for watching mate. Plenty more to come soon🤝🙂⛏️
Thanks so much @Lisa R it's a great show of just what the new Xterra Elite can do so far and we have plenty more to follow and enjoy. Next time small coil and trashy old house site👌 I look forward to sharing😊 Thanks again
Thanks so much @Deanne Lewis i am just loving the new Xterra Elite so far, and this video is a great show of just what it can do hunting old grounds. We have plenty more to follow and enjoy. Next time running a small coil at a very trashy old house site👌 I look forward to sharing soon😊 Thanks again😊⛏️
Hello there @Ray Dovey sorry for the late reply mate. It's been a looong weekend and enjoyable one at that too😎 The new Xterra Elite certainly is a very impressive machine so far to run and learn. I can't wait to see what we can do cleaning up the gold coins at the speedway with it soon👌 I would say a perfect purchase for anyone looking to start out detecting or even upgrade😁 Best of luck and thanks again Ray🤝🙂⛏️
I'm getting back into detecting. It's been many years since I did. I've been looking at a few. What would you recommend around $ 800 or less. I was looking at this xterre elite, the legend and a few others. What are your thoughts?
Absolutely awesome work @Archtops I am sure you are going to love your new Elite mate👌 Its been a super impressive machine so far to run and use, I highly recommend to anyone out there looking to start detecting or even upgrade there gear!! Best of luck and happy digging🙂🤝⛏️👍
Thanks heaps @Poul Skovdam I'm really glad you enjoyed mate. That new Elite is a ripper at finding the coins👌 we best get to our gold coin speedway soon and clean up there also😎⛏️
That model really looks great and seems to work very well. I run the 900 and sometimes feel that I may have spent a bit too much and the Elite makes me feel more so.. but I still love my 900
A fantastic machine so far to use and learn @ShowMeMO-Digs however I think just quietly the 900 is a little bit better personally. And possibly my most favourite detector to hunt with. The new Elite though has a great colour and features that are perfect for anyone looking to first start out or upgrade. I'm really glad you enjoyed watching this video😊 Thanks so much. Happy digging⛏️
I agree, the New Xterra Elite and Nokta Triple score have removed any detectore costing more than $600 completely off my radar. These do everything and more 95% of dectorists need or want, including being completely waterproof. The 5% of those that that need dozens of sub menus for tweaking everytng by one or two settings will just need to spend that extra $1000.00 for those seemingly overpriced options.
Hi Luke, another great Vid mate and always informative and helpful. Can you please send me a link to Darren who makes the Leather digger sheath. Thank you mate
Hi there @malcolm keen thanks heaps for watching mate. I'm really glad you enjoyed this hunt and found it helpful. We have lots more work to do on the brand new Xterra Elite for future👌 Unfortunately, Darren doesn't have a link for his digger sheaths as yet... only just making them as a trial so far. However, I would be more than happy to pass on to Darren that you would like one for future also mate👍 He is a top bloke, and I'm sure he would be willing to help you out🙂
I cant day i do sorry @snipe Detects however me being 6 foot tall and having the shaft fully extended, I can feel a bit of wobble when swinging sometimes. Same as I did with the vanquish. I'd prefer a round shaft over the square shape design. But that's just personal preference.

Can someone tell me if you can pair any Bluetooth headphones or ear buds, or just Minelab headphones?
I dont think its bluetooth. I think I read its proprietary wireless from minelab

@@DigItDetecting Hi Luke, that would be great mate if you could. Many thanks.
Do you notice the arm cuff becoming losebafter time?

This is about the same price as a nox 600, what gives? What's the difference?
Faster processor. Nox 600 will be discontinued
