Simple trick ive used with shorted cell batteries is simply disconnecting them, then jump the vehicle with my jump box while the battery is not connected. I let my jump box act as the vehicles battery. Im not sure many folks here have considered just how many ways a vehicle battery can be bad. If it has a shorted cell(s), you're going to have a hell of a time jump starting it with anything on the market until that battery is either removed from the circuit or replaced. A shorted cell can draw hundreds of amps easily if not more.
I litterly scored a 03 dodge for $1000 because the battery was shot an he thought the electrical was totally fried. Just needed a new battery. 😂 Got me a nice work truck now!
My hulkman will Jumpstart any car with dead battery, even my 2021 international lonestar semi, will go from not even clicking to cranking like it's got new battery's
When my battery died, it charged up once and died 5 minutes later. Wouldnt recharge at all again. Some guy kept telling me its the alternator. In a car at 55k? No sir. Took the battery out and drove it to a battery reseller - tester said dead cells. New battery fixed it.
In my grandmothers 2001 Toyota 4 runner every time you disconnect the battery and put power back on the alarm starts to go off. Now I know to disconnect both horns when I do any work on it

2:40 That jump box is weaker than wet pasta noodles on the floor (Nocos and Dewalts have been good to me, also consider thicc jumper cables or an anderson style jumper cable setup) and that dog shouldn't be in cage in the sun. Animals need to roam free
To be honest, that’s the WORST jumper I’ve ever seen ! Ever heard of NOCO Boost ? they have an “override function” that enables you to jump start a completely dead battery even down to 2 volts !
What the hell they got their dig in? Thats a small cage to have that dog in. Especially if their at work for hours on end. Need bigger kinnel and tarp for shade
Its called a "JUMP STARTER" you use it when you are "IN NEED" of a startup due to a dead battery. you won't have a flat battery on a daily driver unless you have a power leak or a damaged battery. LMAO, imagine your battery died on a deserted road, and you have this POS💀💀💀
Or customer left their lights on (guess how I know) I've had to walk to a parts store in the middle of summer after a first day at work to buy a jump starter.

Definitely should get a noco jump starter, at least a 2000 amp. Mine starts everything i’ve thrown at it, even starts with no battery at all.

IKR. The whole point of a jump pack is that your battery is dead. If it can't start a dead battery then what good is it?
