Do it! I built a 49" wide press brake with two 20ton air over hydraulic rams. Mine is just straight push, not cantilevered like this. If I did any volume of work, I'd do hydraulic rams. Mine is slow just like this one, but I don't use it too often.
That's an awesome build on that brake, that thing is killer. Did lots of custom tooling building dirt bike parts back in the day, still fabricating just not as much anymore. My 4 link tubbed sammi buggy was my last major ground up build, got an 87 yota pick up to do next. Subbed.
nice machine ,would a v block in front of the outer roller be nice so you didn't have to hold the material in place quite as much?? think your idea for the roller is sound could be belt driven just to allow removal a little bit easier? or on pto splines for direct drive?!? Have FUN great creativity !!!
Nope, it would crush the tubing. The round shape of the tube needs to be supported at the point of the bend. Unfortunately, if you want to bend around tubing, you just have to buy the right tool.
I get recommended a lot of bullshit videos on YT and this isn't one of them. Got yourself a new subscriber. Brilliant press dude. Regards, from Sunny South Africa.
Little coins. Yes it is pro grade. Don't knock urself you could sell them machines i bet they be cheaper and probably better as good as anything. And turn a nice profit. . I guess if u want to build me one I'll use it. Ur forcing me to but i guess it be ok. Lol . Well how would i get it. Let's hold off till one is hits the lottery. I don't play very much at all so it be on you. 😂 Stay safe from ur ole hillbilly buddy.
You made that press brake!!! That is awesome . I worked in a metal fab shop before retireing , you did a good job.
Thanks!
really nice plasma cuts on that die block, hardly any bevel or cut lines :)
That is an awesome homemade to love it Look forward to the next video
Excellent idea for bending rebar.
Hell yeah!! That’s an awesome press break!! And nice attachment. I need to build me a 4 foot version of that.
A 4footer would be better in my small space, I rarely use more than a foot of it.

Thanks! I really enjoy making tooling. It’s a fun challenge.
Awesome creativity, sir ! 👍

Have you tried roll cage tubing with that die. It seems like it could work. With some minor adjustments.

Nice job 👍
Thank you!
Nice job building that press
Thank you.
Yes that's awesome dude 👏🏻
Nice job man...a guy who thinks like me...making your dies is one thing but making your own press...WOW! I need to pick your brain now...😂

You need to have that hooked up to normal hydraulics and not that harbor freight pneumatic BS you got going.
I’m slowly collecting pieces.
Why
I worked at a shop that had pneumatic press brake
Fabbed a lot of milk haulers , fire trucks and 12ga ss or less
I think he was offering to buy you some new equipment. @@ultra4suzukisamurai679
@@Yolbosun If you dont get it then perhaps you dont belong in the shop.
@@thecommentary21 Yup, time is money, the quicker the cycle time the more $$ you make..
